PDF Editor FAQ

A mentally retarded girl wants to befriend me and she is doing so forcibly. What shall I do?

Ask yourself this -If she wasn't "retarded", would you be friends with her? If the answer is Yes, then this girl deserves a friend like you as much as anybody else. Get to know her, at the least and then make your decision if you want to continue being friends. That aside -Its strange how your situation mimics the exact beginning of a novel I read a few years ago. Except the girl doesn't have behavioural disorder. She is just very very "different".I think you should read the book. It seems to me that you may find your answers there. 'Star Girl' by Jerry Spinelli. If you are not the reading novel type -Here's the basic story from Wiki - (although I must also mention that Wikipedia does not do justice summarising the novel at all)The novel begins with a brief introduction to Leo at the age of twelve, and chronicles his move from his home state of Pennsylvania to Arizona. Before the move, his Uncle Pete gives Leo a porcupine necktie as a farewell present, inspiring him to collect more like it. After his collection is mentioned in a local newspaper, Leo receives a second porcupine necktie for his birthday, left anonymously on his doorstep, and the story begins.Main StoryThe story picks up four years later with the arrival of an eccentric new classmate, Susan Caraway, at Leo’s high school. Susan goes by the name Stargirl, and her behavior is unusual. Teens at Mica Area High School prize conformity above all else, but Stargirl seems not to care what anyone else thinks of her. She comes to school in strange outfits—kimonos, buckskin, 1920s flapper clothes, and pioneer clothing with no makeup. During each class period she decorates her desk with a tablecloth and flowers. She dances in the rain and strums a ukulele every day during lunch while singing "Happy Birthday" to kids she has never met. She attends strangers’ funerals and cheers for both teams during sporting events. Her behavior is so unusual that at first the student body does not know what to make of her. Popular student Hillari Kimble declares that Stargirl is a fake, and speculation and rumors abound. When Hillari orders Stargirl not to sing to her on her birthday, Stargirl keeps her promise—she sings Hillari’s name, but directs the song to Leo and mentions that she thinks he is cute. Leo gradually becomes intrigued by the mystery of Stargirl, following her after school and passively observing her odd actions and the student body’s reactions. Though at first rejected by most of the highschoolers, Stargirl gains a measure of popularity by joining the cheer-leading squad. Students begin to mimic her behavior, and at lunch she no longer sits alone. Her antics on the squad spark a boom in audience attendance at sporting events. Leo privately celebrates the outburst of individuality taking over the school, even though his own shy demeanor keeps him from participating.Stargirl has a small wagon the size of a fist, which she calls her happy wagon. She has 20 stones in her wagon and every time something sad happens, she takes one out. Whereas, when something happy happens, she puts one in. This wagon is supposed to remind her that more good things happen than bad. Her spiritual condition and level of positiveness is portrayed through this wagon.Stargirl’s popularity is short-lived, however. Thanks in part to her efforts, the basketball season is the best in the school’s history and school spirit flourishes. Students begin to resent Stargirl’s habit of cheering for both teams. Their anger comes to a head during a filming of the student-run television show: Hot Seat which was run by Leo and his best friend Kevin. During the show a “jury” of students is invited to ask questions of the guest star. This show’s guest is Stargirl, and though the questions start innocently the session soon turns into an embarrassing attack on Stargirl’s personality and actions. An advising teacher cuts the show short, and it is never aired, but the damage is already done. Shortly thereafter, Stargirl comforts a hurt player from the opposing team during a playoff basketball game, and is blamed for Mica High’s subsequent loss. She is shunned by the entire student body, except for her friend Dori Dilson, Leo, and, to some extent, Kevin.Leo admires Stargirl for her kindness, bravery, and nonconformity, and the two begin a tentative romance. They spend more and more time together, and Leo experiences her unusual lifestyle and starts helping her with various projects, such as leaving cards for people they don't know and dropping change on the sidewalk for others to find. For a while he is deliriously happy with their relationship, but as reality sets in, he realizes that the entire school is shunning both of them. In response, Leo convinces Stargirl to act more "normal.” She starts going by her real name, Susan, wears typical teen clothing, and becomes generally obsessed with being accepted and popular. These actions fail to produce results.Stargirl decides that the best way to become popular is to win the state’s public speaking competition. She dreams she will win it and get a victorious party. She wins the finals, and her eccentric and creative personality helps her achieve victory. But when she returns to the school expecting to receive a hero’s welcome, Stargirl is bitterly disappointed that only three people show up. Realizing that she has achieved nothing by trying to fit in, and has betrayed her true self in the process, Stargirl reverts to her former personality. Leo is not able to cope with the shunning that comes with being Stargirl’s boyfriend and breaks off their relationship, confused about his feelings and unable to overcome his need to be accepted by the other students.Despite the breakup, Stargirl attends the school’s dance—the Ocotillo ball—with her friend Dori. Leo watches from a distance as Stargirl arrives at the dance on a bike covered in sunflowers. Though initially ignored by the other attendees, something about Stargirl begins to attract attention and temporary acceptance. She convinces the bandleader to play the "Bunny Hop," and gradually the other students come to join her in the dance until eventually the only people not in line are Hillari Kimble and her boyfriend Wayne Parr. When the dance ends, Hillari confronts Stargirl, tells her that she always ruins everything, and slaps her. Stargirl returns Hillari's attack with a polite kiss on the cheek. No one in the town sees Stargirl again after that night, and Leo learns from mutual friend Archie that she and her family have moved away to Midwest Minnesota.EpilogueWe meet Leo again fifteen years after he graduated from high school, and is working as a set designer. He describes the permanent changes Stargirl left behind at Mica Area High School. Students cheer the first basket scored against them at every game, kids in a club called "The Sunflower Club" perform one nice act per day for someone else, and the school’s marching band is the only one in Arizona to feature a ukulele. Leo also explains the more subtle but lasting effects Stargirl has had on his own life, as well as his continuing thoughts of her, and ends the story by revealing that he received a porcupine necktie in the mail one day before his most recent birthday—presumably from Stargirl herself.PS - You should definitely read the book. You will surprised by the similarities.

Between the WandaVision finale, Black Widow possibly being bland, Spider-Verse potentially not happening, and Thor being replaced, will MCU fans be disappointed with early Marvel phase 4?

They will likely not be, and here’s why.WandaVision delivered a satisfying finale to a great series. Even though many fan theories didn’t play out, the show wasn’t meant to introduce the next phase of the MCU. It was designed as an exploration of Wanda’s grief, and it did exactly that. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier just finished its run on April 23, and despite the finale being slightly divisive, the show still delivered on the great action and humor that we have come to expect from Marvel.Speaking of Loki, the fan-favorite character debuts in his own series on June 11, and I am very excited for this one as well. Time travel is always fun, and the odd-couple pairing of the tightly-wound TVA agent Mobius M. Mobius and the more mercurial Loki suggests that the show could become the MCU’s version of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Regardless, it should still be fun.As for Black Widow, the film is likely meant solely to tell Nat’s story, similarly to WandaVision, rather than connect to the larger MCU. That doesn’t mean, however, that it won’t be a spectacle. I am, personally, still excited for the film, and am just hoping that it explains Budapest. What If…? is said to debut in mid-2021. This show promises mindbending looks at what the MCU would be like if key events in the timeline had changed, such as Peggy Carter receiving the Super-Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers.Next up after What If…? is Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, set for a theatrical release on September 3. Written by David Callaham (Ant-Man) and featuring an all-star cast including Simu Liu, Awkwafina, and Michelle Yeoh, Marvel is reportedly looking for the film to rival Black Panther in terms of revolutionizing the Marvel fanbase. Plus, with frequent Brie Larson collaborator Destin Daniel Cretton at the helm, who knows? Maybe we could get Captain Marvel in a post-credits scene.Ms. Marvel will likely bow next, and this one could be a sleeper hit. From what we know, this series looks like a cross between the Hulk and DC’s Stargirl, and I am personally interested in that combination. Plus, it will connect to Captain Marvel 2.Eternals bows on November 5. Previously the second film of Phase 4, this project vows to bring something different to the MCU, as it riffs on the “ancient aliens” trope. We have seen this play out before, on season 3 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., so we know that there is potential there. This film seems very weird, but comic readers are hyped for it.Hawkeye will likely be next to hit Disney+. The pairing of MCU stalwart Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton with franchise newcomer Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop has untapped potential. We already know from Bumblebee that Steinfeld can lead a franchise property, so am excited for this one as well.Spider-Man: No Way Home is next up, and rumors of the multiverse have been swirling ever since Jamie Foxx was confirmed as Electro. However, regardless of whether or not the multiverse actually occurs in this film, that’s not why fans will watch it. People didn’t watch Far From Home for Mysterio and the Elementals. They watched it for these guys:Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon’s chemistry is undeniable, and should continue to thrive in No Way Home.No Way Home is rumored to tie into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The 2022 film is also connected to WandaVision, and the titular multiverse has fans abuzz, simply because of its endless possibilities. Many of fans’ WandaVision theories, such as Doctor Strange, Nightmare, and the multiverse, could come to fruition in this film. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Rachel McAdams are confirmed to reprise their roles as Mordo and Christine Palmer from the first film alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, serving to anchor both this film to the previous one and Strange to his home universe.Moon Knight will likely release at some point in the spring of 2022. This show has great potential in that the hero is sort of what would happen if you combined Batman with Crazy Jane from Doom Patrol. Add in Oscar Isaac for some Poe Dameron swagger, and you’ve got yourself a winner in my book.As for Thor: Love and Thunder, regardless of whether or not Thor is being replaced (it seems that he will be), it should still be a good film. The movie will likely find a way to conclude Thor’s MCU arc while also introducing Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor in a believable way. The Guardians of the Galaxy are also slated to return, which could only be good for the film. So, there you have it. Don’t count out Phase 4 just yet. There’s plenty more on the horizon.

What do you think of the first trailer for the new DC show Stargirl?

--What do you think of the first trailer for the new DC show Stargirl?--Lets break this down-The first “scene” is brilliant giving us a quick backstory on Starman. This is immediately followed by a scene showing the family and setting up “Stargirl”. It seems to give us beats of humour, tense moments and some lore.We see some emotion from the son of Starman as the mantle is taken up. We then hear the “The staff chose me and I choose you” and a grin from the son. The protagonist actually has a personality and when she says “Stargirl” it is delivered well. It’s a single word without any of the tiresome inflection when the Batwoman trailer did the same thing.-So the characters and themes look pretty good at first glance, but the main thing that caught my eye were the special effects.-As most people have witnessed the CW using CGI had rather declined in later shows, I was surprised to see the effects in this video actually appeared solid.Possibly past Marvel level. The lightning looks great as do the staff blasts.-On a final note the main reason I’m looking forward to this show is the makers are actually the DC Universe team (IIRC) which were brilliant in their respective projects. So the show might surpass previous CW shows simply due to the change in teams.-

Having partially evaluated the Mobile Go product the free evaluation period ran out in 5 days. This is not sufficient time to perform a full evaluation. Similar products have not worked with my Samsung Android phone. I was concerned that this may be the case with Mobile Go. CocoDoc's link to their help forum does not work. Attempts to set up a query to their help desk also does not work. A field in the help desk query set up process requires entry of the relevant product. No entries are accepted in this field. This is true of both Google Chrome and Opera browsers. I'm reluctant to risk buying this product given the lack of access to support.
