PayTM beats other tech firms in India in dirty business practice by a big margin.This incident happened when we visited Pothys bangalore showroom last week.In Pothys, when we buy things in a floor, you would get the bill for them in that particular floor. However we can pay all the bills in any floor's cash counter.So mostly everybody comes to the cash counter with many bills. Behind every cash counter you will see a paytm board screaming some cashback offers(like always).Last time when we went their was a board saying Rs. 100 cashback for the purchase of Rs.750. The TnC of the offers are not clearly visible from where I stood.I asked the cashier on TnC, he said the offer is valid for three transactions per user per month/user. So I started paying all my bills through PayTM. After two transaction, the third payment didn't go through. I tried from an another account, same result after two transactions.I went to an another floor to pay in vain, same results. So I paid rest of my bills through card.That's when I come across a copy of a payTM offer. I was shocked reading the TnC on it. It said that the cashback offer is valid only on the 3rd transaction not on all three transactions for a user.That's when I clearly understood the dirty practice of PayTM. You will only get the cashback on the 3rd transaction but the 3rd transaction would never go through.You will only come to know this only after you have 2 transaction.Well played isn't.
