A B.S. in Chemistry would be a good precursor to a D. Pharm. It's a bit like asking if you should be a biology major or an MD. The career paths aren't mutually exclusive, and in fact many M.D.'s start out in Biology.So go ahead and get your B.S. in Chemistry and then if you feel up for it, apply to some Pharmacy schools.

Yeah! UF (Univ of FL?) calculates your GPA based on its own grade points. That's what matters most as a transfer. I know they ask for your SAT and stuff…but as long as your GPA in your AA or AS is 3.5+ you're good. (Here is this! : UF Undergrad Catalog) also, pro tip, if you need to see the courses you need just google “<major name>, <college name>, UF critical tracking” . It will give you all of the stuff you need semester by semester.Chemistry (BS not BA) is a tough hack..good luck! Dr. Young for analytical is tough and Dr. Brucat for P chem is similar in this way (all head from chem major friends). You're also lucky if you don't have to take Horvath’s chem 2 lab (though I got an A!). You're smart to take those pre reqs at another school. UF is going to have great opportunities for you as an upperclassman. :)-a UF graduate (also UF pre med carnage)
