I was so excited and people kept texting me with last minute details. I was so tired that day but the adrenaline kept me running.Eat. It’s really hard to. But eat healthy food like homemade pizza. It has way less grease than ready made pizza.Smile. This may seem ironic but smile even when it’s chaotic and nobody knows what’s supposed to happen next. You’re the bride or groom and you gotta smile. Everyone is looking at you and taking pictures of you.Remember the end goal. The end goal is marriage and even if you don’t look as good as you think you did (I actually thought I looked okay but not that good..) you probably look better than you think you do.Makeup can hide a multitude of pimples. The day of my wedding a huge pimple popped up on my cheek. My face was clear before and then it showed up. When I took my makeup off the night of it was gone. #stressWhen you’re stressed look deeply into your significant other’s eyes. Seriously it’ll help you look great and hide the stress.You’re going to look great. Don’t stress and have fun!

During the last Soccer World Cup England did unexpectedly well and reached the semi-final (forgive the Poetic licence with some detail) and a wonderful Tweet went around at the time;“Just my luck! I’ve somehow acquired a ticket for this Saturday’s semi-final between England and Croatia, but that day is also my Wedding Day, so obviously I can’t attend!But if you would like to take my place, it’s at St Peter’s Church, Cambridge and her name is Fiona.”

I cried the day that I tried on wedding dresses.My parents and I scraped up about $1,000 or so for my wedding, so I knew going into it that my dress budget was tight. I really wanted to go to an elegant dress shop and try on some different dresses, and have the whole experience, but I was terrified that I would find the ‘perfect’ dress and it would be out of my price range.Since I didn't want an overly fancy dress, my mom ordered a variety of dresses on Amazon for me to try on ranging from $20 to $40 apiece. I don’t really remember the details of what happened, but she got impatient with me that I couldn’t decide which one I wanted, and I got upset when she commented that the dress I did like needed to be in a bigger size. The whole day felt like a disaster and I was crushed that trying on dresses was not the perfect experience I thought it would be.I ended up coming to terms with it, and my mom and I made up. The dress was perfect and just what I wanted after I got a custom veil and underskirt. I am so grateful for everything she did to make my wedding day amazing.
