No, its actually very few who awaken.There’s a lot of buzz about awakening these days. In the constant spam of information, the voice of truth drowns in the overflow of information. The voice of truth becomes quiet, timid and is heard by very few.I’ve answered this before but as a short summary, there are three broad types of people. And you can find these mentioned constantly in scripture:Those who are not awakened: The unconscious masses who don’t know themselves and are in varying degrees totally unconscious of how their actions affect others.Those who are unconscious but awaken: A very small portion of the unconscious people who experience a total turning of their heart and change their life around. A ”rebirth”. A ”second chance at life”. This is awakening, and these stories are always dramatic, touching and miraculous.Those who are born awakened: Usually feel like ”aliens” or ”wierdos” and don’t fit in well in society at all. The people who think ”outside the box”. Parents usually misunderstand them and label them this-and-that label. Growing up thinking that theres something wrong with their personality. These are the awakened, and when they find their spiritual path (which they eventually do), they become powerhouses of light to people around them.The second (2) example above is what is known as ”awakening”. The people who feel that theres something wrong with them are usually the awakened (3). The people who think they are perfect and see only flaws in others are the unconscious masses (1).Please dont see these as ”types” as in psychology, there are infinite levels to it as its all a matter of vibration in the end, but it simplifies explaining.
