With this all real estate collapsed. Many who planned and invested in land to start their companies in AMARAVATHI started looking for an alternate. This stopped the job creation to a max extent. The projects like happy next and AP NRT towers were put on halt due to which those who planned to move to AP and start their companies dropped their proposal and requested AP Govt to return back their money. Companies like Ramakrishna Venizula who built IT towers in KAZA sold their shares and shifted to hyd. Those who invested in AMARAVATHI are now in great pain.Companies: Many companies who planned to start in AP but were in watch mode due to elections dropped their proposal and left AP. This is a big blow for the unemployed youth. Many news came that many industrialists were threatened to pay them hefty amounts to run in AP.POLAVARAM : Intially they stopped using pattiseema but later due to water shortage they had to use it. But POLAVRAM was completely put on hold in the name of reverse tendering wherein they reduced the norms to select a contractor who would quote a bit less as the norms were relaxed.
