Where can a 15-year-old work in the Greater Cincinnati area?

There may be multiple questions here —one is where are you allowed to work? The second is where are there jobs?A third question might be when do you want to work and why do you want to work ?Jobs commonly sought by people your age include delivering newspapers, working in retail establishments such as the mall or food places, caddying golf clubs at a golf course, working at recreational facilities, and pet sitting or babysitting. For a new worker the best job experiences will be at places that hire for the summer and hire a lot of youth because they will have better youth training programs. Examples of this are summer recreation or day camps, counter retail work or ice cream parlors. King’s Island Might be another one.In addition, local governments sometimes have summer hire programs. especially for people who need to work to help supplement family income. For those government sponsored summer jobs I would call my local county and city offices or do an Internet search for summer jobs. You should also ask people who work for water or park districts or other local government agencies if you know any.March is an excellent time of year to start looking because many of the places that hire up for summer start their processes now.You can work in many other types of jobs if the employer is willing to hire you so you might start by asking adults that your parents know especially those who have businesses.Ohio requires you to get an age and school certificate. To receive an age and schooling certificate, you must submit an application to the superintendent of the school district in which the child resides or the chief administrative officer of the school that the child attends.I would suggest that you start by asking at the principal’s office where you go to school. In order to have the best work experience you should also inform yourself as to the rules your employer has to follow so that they don’t take it vantage of you. Do not assume your parents know. I have provided a link down belowThe federal government & each state have rules about where minors(Under the age of 18) can work and how many hours they can work and school is in session .In Ohio, you Cannot work for more than 5 hours without at least a 30 minute break. You Cannot work more than 18 hours per week or more than 3 hours per day when school is in session. You Cannot work before 7:00am or after 7:00pm.There are a list of jobs you can’t do but most of them are hazardous which means they involve strong chemicals machinery or other sorts of dangerous conditions.https://www.ohio.edu/hr/employment/upload/minor_labor_laws.pdfAn Enthusiastic search in your neighborhood by asking adults you know and businesses that you can walk to is a great way to start. Be prepared with a couple of reasons why you might like that job and why you think you might be physically or mentally able to do it. Good luck.

Have you ever been unknowingly disrespected or mistreated by a junior or subordinate only for them to realise later that you are the boss or a ranking official?

I am the General Manager for a relatively large Joinery Manufacturer in South Africa. Now bear in mind that I am a 26 year old male, I am extremely hands on in the business and I very seldom wear a full corporate get up unless I need to meet with suppliers or large clients. We were interviewing for a position that had recently been created in our company. The position was titled “Junior Sales Executive and Administrative Manager”. Minimum requirement was a High School Diploma and 3 Years relevant experience. This would allow us to hire a young person who we could mold into the newly created position. The third interviewee for the day was a 28 year old women, obviously full of herself seeing as she had shown up 10 minutes late (already an infringement in my mind). She strides into the reception area and announces to the receptionist (within earshot of me as my office is directly off of the Reception area) that she has arrived for her interview and she believes we have been eagerly awaiting her arrival. The receptionist leads her into my office where I hand her an application form and tell her that I will take her up to the interview panel as soon as she has completed it as well as a short capability test for computer proficiency. Halfway through her application she looks up at me and “jokingly” remarks, “Who’s dick did you have to suck to work in HR?” “I really need a job so I need to know who’s ass to kiss.”Shocked I laughed it off and told her that the boss only employs and promotes people on merit…As she finished her application and test I led her up to the pause room where all our interviews are conducted. We have three members on the panel. The CEO, our actual HR manager and myself. As I led her in I made my way to take my seat right in between the CEO on my left and the HR manager on my right. As I sat down you could see her starting to turn pale and looking faint. The moment I touched the seat I looked up at her and told her directly “My name is Sydney, I am the General Manager, this is Hans, he is the Chief Executive Officer and this is Monita our Human Resources manager. We will be conducting this interview with you as a team, each of us have set questions that we will ask you on a turn base and your performance will be based on our personal assessment.” She stares at me blankly “I think I will commence. What would you define as sexual harassment in the workplace?” The other panel members looked at me perplexed as our new prospective employee got out of her chair, and ran out of the pause room without a moments hesitation. After I explained the situation to them shortly afterwards it has become one of the funnier stories we retell at office parties.

I am a realtor and I need a digital signing software to do all my documents and leases for clients. Often i find the incumbent softwares costing an arm and a leg and CocoDoc, one of the very few companies that really are wanting to compete and provide the best service at a reasonable cost to clients.
