Let’s say I was a drill sergeant (never had the desire to become one, sorry) and a Private Smith arrives and informs me that he knew more about the military than I did because he read about it on the Internet.I would tell Private Smith to report to me in my office in the correct military manner, as if I was an officer. (In the Army, “report to an officer” is a task they teach you in Basic and they test you on at the end of course.) When he fucked it up, which he would do because they don’t put small things like that in books, I would then give him a demonstration of the proper way then have him do it again. Once he’d properly reported, I would hand him an M50 protective mask and direct him to disassemble the mask, name every part, reassemble the mask, fit it to his face, then properly don the mask within nine seconds. (That’s also a required skill if you expect to graduate from basic training.) If I didn’t have an M50 handy, any piece of boring military equipment would do. Maybe I’d give him one of my boots and have him fill out a DA Form 2404 (Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet… they don’t teach this form in Basic but they really should, because you’re going to fill out about a million of them in your time in the Army.) on it. When he fucked that one up too, I would tell him, in a calm, non-drill-sergeant voice, that I think it’s great he did all that homework before coming to basic - but there are a lot of things about the military that you won’t learn until you’ve been in it a while.

This space craft of the GALAXY-Class had been introduced in 2404 under the Solar Empire administration led by Grand Administrator Perry Rhodan who united Earth after the first contact with the humanlike Arkonides in the 1970s and 1980s. Rhodan later got an immortality device allowing him to live on during the next millennia.Some additional information:The main engines had been placed inside the equatorial ridge.This vessel had 50 corvettes with a diameter of 60 meters, 500 Mosquito space jets, small destroyers and other special shuttles.Its main weapon, the Transform-Cannon (called so since it transformed a kind of nuclear warhead into a stream of energy, projected it to the target and here, this warhead re-transformed into well, the warhead) The most heaviest had a force of 2000 gigatons (compare this with the 64 megatons of a Star Trek universe Federation photon torpedo).During a battle, the CREST-III fires its cannons on one side of the vessel ad if they starts to overheat, the ship rotates and uses the next group of main weapons and so on. Most maneuvers were extremely fast paced, the attack sequences often had been pre-programmed and executed by the vessels’ computers instead of the pilots.A little crossover thought:If the Crest-III would have been transferred into the Babylon5 universe, this vessel easily could have easily wiped the floor with the whole Minbari fleet during the “Battle of the Line” in which the Earth Force put on their last desperate defense against the advancing Minbari.Back to the information:This vessel had a max speed of about 20 million that of light and an operational radius of more than 500′000 light years.During the 1000 years, this class of space vessels existed, they were the most powerful space crafts in the Milky Way galaxy as well as the Andromeda Galaxy in which the Solar Empire had a smaller presence.This is another space vessel, the JUPITER-Class (here, the particular vessel LEIF ERIKSON is depicted). This time, built by the successor state of the Solar Empire, the League of Free Terrans in the 14th century New Galactic Time (the 49th century CE).Like with the Crest III it had a diameter of 2500 meters without the equatorial ridge.These vessels are even more powerful, much more advanced and built in a highly modular manner. After an almost crash landing the astronauts around Perry Rhodan discovered a crashed alien space craft, a menacing spheroid ship of 500 meters diameter.Perry Rhodan manages to get invited into this alien space craft.Here, he encounters the surprisingly humanoid Arkonides (Perry didn’t believe in intelligent octopuses as proposed by his deputy Reginald Bull (In German Reginalds family name Bull had been shortened to the nickname “Bully”, not to be confused with the “Bully” in the English language).Perry quickly finds out that the Arkonide are an extraterrestrial culture which stagnated, became complacent, fully immersed in their virtual reality games, “a bit” of illegal drugs, parties and even their military force became weak. Their space craft already was here for three months.The scientific leader of the Arkonide mission, Crest da Zoltral, still a highly active Arkonide states that the Arkonide space craft AETRON had been sent out to seek for a legendary planet whose inhabitants knows the secret of immortality to preserve the last remaining active members of the Arkon civilization.The AETRON was the last space craft developed by Arkonides in the 20th century CE, outfitted with the newest technologies albeit badly maintained, hence the crash landing on Earths Moon. Not even the replacement parts had been stored. This shows, how bad the state of the Arkonide civilization already was.Crest, suffering from an Arkonide version of Leukemia, learns that the indigenous of Earth have developed a cure for Leukemia. In exchange for his cure, Crest offers the Terrans around Rhodan the technological means of the Arkonides.Thora da Zoltral, having learned enough by listening to broadcasts of Earths TV- and radio-stations was highly skeptical about the ability of the Terrans, nearing a stage of which a nuclear war seems inevitable. To her, coming from the ruling caste, the family of the Zoltral like her uncle Crest, the Terrans were just barbarians, too low in the tech-evolutionary state to even negotiate with them.After learning that the Terrans begun to “conquer space”, Crest declared them worthy to be negotiated with according to Arkonide laws and regulations for first contact scenarios.After the successful return to Earth, Perry Rhodan as planned with Crest, landed on the desert of Gobi in Northern China.This sparked an international crisis which almost lead to a nuclear war between the three power blocks of Terra, the NATO, the Asian Federation and the Eastern Block. Rhodan, backed by the alien technology managed to stop this world war by asking Thora to use the vast superior power of the AETRON to stop any machines on Earth which were jet engines, other propulsion systems, even the nuclear processes in the atomic rockets.Thora stated something like: “Oh, that’s easy, this is just a small solar system and you don’t know the powers of the AETRON, you Terran Barbarian.”In a longer process, Rhodan, Crest, Thora, the newly won allies like the Mutant Corps organized by the Australian and telepath John Marshall, the first population of the newly found future Terran capital Terrania City at the landing site of the STARDUST and other allies like Allan d. Merchant, the leader of the western secret intelligence agency (A fictionalized combination of the CIA and NSA), Homer G. Adams, a financial genius unifies Earth under a democratic political system.Racism, racialism, nationalism in the single Terran countries became a thing of the past. The Terran countries like the United States, Germany, Russia, China, Egypt, Brazil, Japan etc. became states in the federal system of Terra. This happened until 1984 after Rhodan already carried out some dangerous interstellar adventures leading even to the heart of the Arkonide Empire, finding out that a vast super computer, the Robot Regent now reigns Arkon with iron fist.During these adventures, Rhodan and his fellow friends and allies met a higher being, called ES, he granted Rhodan and a selected group the immortality after Rhodan solved a difficult and highly dangerous sequence of tests and trials.In 1984, Rhodan, his men and women managed to convince the galactic public that Earth had been destroyed in a war with a military trader organization which has the trade monopole in the Arkon Empire and felt threatened by the Terran insistence of doing its own interstellar trade. He has won the time to built up the power of Terra in secrecy.From his last adventures, Rhodan brought back the newest prototype of an Arkonide warship, the 1500 meters diameter spherical VEAST’ARK, rechristened into TITAN by Rhodan. Thora and Crest, now outcasts in the Arkonide society since the Robot Regent activated itself fully under the rule of the last Zoltral emperor resulting in the family of the Zoltral became seen as unworthy, choses Terra as their new home world. Crest continues to support the Terrans with everything he knows.The issues on Earth like diseases, hunger, corruption, superstition had been fought and mostly solved.Later, in 1990, Perry Rhodan founded the Solar Empire which started to colonize Mars, Venus, the moons of the Solar Systems gas giants and the trans neptunian objects. (The only one mentioned in the series was Pluto since the writers then didn’t knew anything about the other TNO’s like Sednar, Quaoar, Haumea, Makemake).Rhodan married Thora who now fully respects the Terrans. Thora, later, gave birth to Thomas Rhodan-Zoltral who was renamed Thomas Cardiff by his father since Rhodan thought that his son must not be allowed to profit from the political position of his father which estranges his son from him. By being a neglectful parent, Rhodan made himself a new enemy who later sworn to take revenge.Fast Forward: In 2040, the Solar Empire has become a fully organized albeit secretly working galactic power. A new person emerges, Atlan da Gonozal, a royal Arkonide living for ten thousand of years on Terra. After some struggles, Atlan and Rhodan became friends for life.Up to 2044, the Arkonide Empire, now under the rule of Atlan, and the Solar Empire, still governed by the constantly reelected Rhodan manages to form an official alliance of political equals of the both states, the vast Arkonide Empire and the still third tier Solar Empire. This was seen ludicrous by the Arkonide nobility since the Solar Empire was not even as large as a small Arkonide star province despite spanning over some solar systems.In the centuries which follows, the Solar Empire became stronger and stronger, managed to reverse engineer a new kind of FTL-engine which made the Solar space crafts superior to all the other ships out there in the galaxy. After some terrorist attacks and more symmetric enemy attacks, the Arkonide Empire, especially after the voluntary retreat of Atlan, now fully crumbled under the degenerate and decadent state of the Arkonide civilization and after the loss of the Robot Regent as well as the War World.In the early 25th century, the Solar Empire almost was at the height of its power. It now stretches over a radius of about 5500 light years around the Solar System, has tens of thousands of colonized worlds in more than ten thousand of solar systems. Its fleet now highly surpassed the Arkonide fleet even at its height ten thousand of years ago.The war with a dictatorial power in the neighboring Andromeda galaxy showed the Terrans around Rhodan new insights about the development of the Arkonides, their predecessors and new slowly emerging enemies.Two major civilizationsThe ArkonidesThe Arkonides (who gave the Terrans around Perry Rhodan their interstellar high tech in 1971) were/are a fully humanoid race.The only visual difference between humans from Earth and the Arkonides is the generally white hair of the Arkonides and a reddish iris. Arkonides have a northern European facial structure but are more tanned than average Europeans.A special trait of the Arkonides is a part of their brain which can be psionically activated after the Arkonide mastered a highly dangerous trial, the Ark’Summia. After its activation, this part of the brain becomes the logic sector. It allows its bearer to have a true photographic memory, it functions as an adviser, a bit of a small computer and gives this Arkonide the ability to deflect telepathic and hypnotic attacks.From the 18th millennium BCE to the 24th century CE, the Arkonides ruled the Tai Ark’Tussan (The Greater Arkon Empire). It was a kind of parliamentary hereditary monarchy.The monarch at the top was called the Tai’Moas (First Great (of Arkon)), had the military rank of the Begam (THE supreme commander) and in the Imperial protocol he was addressed as Zhdopanthi (Most exalted highness) and other titles were:“His million eyed, all seeing, all knowing most exalted highness, ruler over Arkon and the worlds of the barren island. His Imperial glorificience (Throne-name, given name), Hero from the Nobility of the oldest of the worlds. Most exalted highness, kissed by the unlimited wisdom, enlightened in the mysteries of the Dagor (number) …(Insert the rest of the 36 lines of titles here)… have decided that (……).”Dagor was an Arkonide martial arts comparable to a mixture of Karate, Qui Gong, a bit of the Jedi knights of the Star Wars universe. They fight with swords consisting of atomic-core and molecular structure stabilized Arkon-steel covered in a disintegrator or stunning field. Other weapons were a kind of Shuriken, Nun Chucks, bow and arrow, javelins. and shields.The Arkonide aristocracy had three main castes divided into ten sub-caste each.The Arkonide civilians were called “Essoya”, settlers on other worlds were called “Bras’cooi”, a once neutral term which became derogative. “Only a Bras’cooi could do such a dumb thing.”The Arkonides repositioned two planets of their home solar system o the orbit of their capital world. After that, the Tai Ark’Tussan had three capital worlds in this “Tiga Ranton (Three worlds) arrangement. The original capital world Gos’Ranton (Cristal world, named after the Cristal Palace of the Arkonide ruler, located on the “Hills of the Wise”), Gor’Ranton (War world, aptly named since it was transformed into a planet wide industrial complex producing the Arkonide military space crafts and other equipment, a eccological nightmare) and Mehen’Ranton (Trade world with the largest cities in the known milky way galaxy).A little crossover thought: While Holy Terra within the Warhammer 40000 universe still has some natural parks within the Imperial palace in the Himalayas. Gor’Ranton of the Arkonides doesn’t have even a single acre of its former biosphere.Additional information: Oxygen must be produced in large converters, the climate has to be controlled by a network of computers. Even a dozen of kilometers deep into the crust of Gor’Ranton the Arkonides has built their production lines. Gigantic space ports with thousands of mile-diametered spherical ships are here, gigantic defensive cannons are placed here. Gor’Ranton is a super fortress.The Arkonides lives in funnel shaped buildings named after a flower on their home world Gos’Ranton, Khassurn. The Terrans of the present time are the “purest” of the Lemurian descendants.The spheroid shape of the Akonide, Arkonide and therefore Terran space crafts came from the spheroid design of the Lemurian war ships like the 1800 meters main battle ships and the slightly smaller 1600 meters diameter GOLKARTH-class.So, the Arkonides around Crest da Zoltral (the Ka’Marentis (= Arkon Empire Secretary of science and development) of the late Arkon Empire) and Thora da Zoltral (a female, a relative to Crest, the commander of the crashed Arkonide space craft, the 500 meters diameter AETRON handed over the Terrans all of the still available technological artifacts and scientifically feats the Lemurians once originally developed on Earth.Persons of the series, natural or artificial (In brackets the decade of their creation):Atlan (1960s)Gos’Athor Mascaren Atlan da Gonozal was born on the 35. Prago of the Dryhan 10.479 da Ark which was the October 9th 8045 BCE on the Crystal World of the Arkonide Empire.His father, the emperor of Arkon insisted on the name of Mascaren but his mother wished him to be named Atlan. Atlan himself liked his second given name more and so he went with this name.In his youth, he became a fighter for the good, fought conspiracies against his family, got educated in the martial arts of Dagor, became an underground leader. Later, after the ful rehabilitation of his family, he became a Has’Athor (= a lower ranking Arkonide admiral) commandeering an elite fleet.In this time, the war with the hydrogen breathing Maahks started. He and his fleet fought at the foremost frontlines, thus risking his own life more than once. During this time, he encountered a Halutian expedition which forced the Arkonides and Maahk to negotiate a truce over an innocent solar system.In 8006 BCE he was ordered to oversee a revolt in a solar system very far from the main Arkonide Empire, here, an over-eagerly administrator overstretched the powers his colony has, forced the workers to erect a large scale mega-computer and so he reached the Larsaf Solar System (which was no other than the Terran Solar System). He removed this bad administrator from his post and resettled colonists who couldn’t bear the conditions on the second planet of this solar system. He relocated them to the third world, already having an Arkonoid civilization in its stone age level. He and his men colonized a large island between a kind-of heart shaped southern continent and two larger continents. His elite vessel commander Tarts named this island after Atlan, Atlantis.After this, he went on to fight for Arkon in the more and more brutal war with the Maahks.In 8003 BCE, he returned to the Larsaf Solar System due to another distress call. Here, he encountered an overlapping universe and due to the needs of the war, one after one of his ships got commandeered to the front. An emissary of a higher being visited Atlan and handed him the plans for a weapon with which the Arkonides will defeat the Maahks and he got an immortality device (egg shaped, worn on an indestructible chain around his neck). At the climax of this battle against a strange foreign universe, he lost every of his ships, Atlantis sunk and he stranded on Larsaf-III (the Earth) and only had a bunker system south of an island group (later called Azores) left.During the next 10043 years, Atlan became an advisor to the still primitive indigenous peoples. Atlan didn’t do it by pretending to be a god, he rather played the over-average educated scholar, wise teacher, used robotic animals as secret weapons, protected Earth from enemies from space and became a guardian to Earth.In Earth’s antiquity he witnessed and helped the construction of the first Egyptian pyramids, witnessed the rise of Alexander the Great (who temporarily got an immortality device too by this strange higher being, but after Alexander raped a women Atlan then loved, Atlan destroyed Alexanders immortality device thus killing him in this process). He witnessed the rise of Rome and since he wished to return home so bad and the Roman Empire reminded him so strong in his own Arkonide home-land, he had mixed feelings about Rome. At the same time, he was an advisor to the Chinese emperor Shih Huang Ti (ironically, Shih Huang Ti lusted for immortality and this tall white haired stranger was in possession of it). He often introduced small improvements to the scientifically and technologically progress of humanity.During the 20th century CE, Atlan witnessed the First World war. He missed the second one due to the already achieved ability to travel to one other solar system by a teleportation device. During the late 60s he applied to the US-Space force founded by US President Kennedy after an assassination attempt failed. He briefly travelled through postwar western Germany, disguised as an American. At the same time, he observed the rise of the Asian Federation, a third power block around the Republic of China which got restabilized by Tschiang Kai Shek after the communist rebel leader Mao Zhedong died during the Great March.In 1968, he witnessed the student unrests of Paris and briefly encountered the young US space force officer Perry Rhodan first time in his life. Perry then saved a woman from the mob. Atlan and his technical team constructed the nuclear engine for the first moon rocket of the United States as it engaged in the Space race with the Asian Federation. What was ultra high tech to the Americans, was just old museum tech to Atlan coming from an interstellar civilization.In 1971, after the successful moon landing of Perry Rhodan and his fellow officers Reginald Bull, Clark G. Flipper and Eric Manoli, the crisis around Rhodans “distress landing” in the dessert of the Gobi seemed to become a nuclear war. Atlans vast knowledge about the nature of mankind mislead him this time and he fled to his bunker and programmed a cryogenic deep sleep to be awaken in 2041. In this year, he planned to save what was left from humanity.Due to a miss-programming in his hurry, he got thawed out in 2040. He carefully and after some preparations travelled to the surface of Earth and to his extreme surprise, humanity not only wasn’t destroyed by the seemingly inevitable nuclear war, it flourished in the still young and fledgling Solar Empire founded by Perry Rhodan in 1990.Atlan learned that mankind became an interstellar power, already had a well developed space fleet and Earth was a paradise world with a high degree of social security, a federal states system with colonies on Venus, Mars, some moons of Jupiter, Saturn, outposts on Pluto and other Trans-Neptunian objects and even some spread out secret interstellar colonies in more than two handful of solar systems. He was astonished and shocked that the Terrans already were able to construct spherical ships with a diameter of 1500 meters. The largest ships Atlan knew until then were 800 meters in diameter.Now, Atlan tried to get his hand on a Terran disc shaped interstellar Space Jet to finally return home after so many millennia. It failed since it was thwarted by Rhodan himself who, thanks to his mutant corps and some little mistakes Atlan made, already knew about a strange man who wanted a Space Jet. In a fierce duel on a heat hell moon, Rhodan managed to convince Atlan to return to the Solar System but his mistreatment by some of Rhodans officers led him flee again and on a museum on one of the colonial cities on Venus, Rhodan and Atlan finally became friends after a last battle between both immortals.A bit later, Atlan started to believe in the degenerate state of his civilization and now he fully agreed to continue his help for mankind. He learned that this strange overlapping universe reappeared and he gave all his knowledge about his early past to the Terrans around Rhodan.In 2044, Atlan became emperor of Arkon, used his newly won power to continue to help the Terrans and at the same time, Atlan was assisted by the Terrans to try to revitalize the Arkonide civilization.After more than 60 years of intrigues, conspiracies and assassination attempts by the degenerate Arkonide nobility who views Atlan as a barbarized one, the nobility who didn’t want to change their comfortable and complacent life style anymore, Atlan, after the destruction of the Robot Regent, resigned and founded the United Stars Organization, an interstellar secret intelligence agency, police force and ally to Terra. He became its “Lord Admiral”.In the centuries and Millennia which should follow, Atlan had another vast range of adventures.Atlans wise advices, his vast military knowledge and extremely competent style of leadership made him one of the most important friends and allies to Perry Rhodan. He demands extreme discipline but at the same time, he knows how to perfectly motivate his subordinates and he often shows a sense of irony and sarcasm.Some of his most successful military tactics were extremely fancy and against all military conventions. He is a master psychologist and his psychological and military poker games are legendary. He often can play absolutely convincing another person, could sell one hot air for a high price.Since he choses the higher ranking members of the founding phase of the United Stars Organization (USO) himself and since he choses some men and women with a sarcastic mouth, Atlans logic sector once stated, “Well, the abbreviation U.S.O. stands for Union of Sarcastic Obscurants”.Atlan is a 187 cm tall, athletic Arkonide with white hair and reddish-golden eyes. Since he is so into women, he fathered some children during his early involuntary exile on Earth. Some speculations wants that Atlan is the reason, the Scandinavians so often has blonde hair.He loves good wine, is a womanizer, loves the flower Dianthus, good music. He despises illoyalty, treason, fanaticism and a decadent life style. He can be a deadpan snarker, sometimes loves to tease the Terrans by calling them “Barbarians” like every Arkonide did and does with non-Arkonides but every Terran around Rhodan fully knows that he does it in a loving ironically nature.While Perry Rhodan is the more “political correct” hero. Atlan due to his Arkonide education often has the part of doing some dirtier jobs and he has some traces of (Arkonide) ruthlessness in battles. Despite this, he remains one of the good guys.Perry Rhodan (1960s)Born in 1936 in Manchester, Connecticut.He had German ancestors.During his early career he was major of the US-space force. He witnessed the Paris unrests 1968. After his meeting with the Arkonides 1971 on the Moon he decided to unify Earth since he believed that only a unified mankind could face the dangers of the civilizations out there in space. It should be done peacefully with which he succeeded. LAter, he became the First Administrator of the Solar Empire.Perry Rhodan strongly beliefs in a peacefully united mankind without any racism or chauvinism. He tries his best to maintain peace with foreign powers and star empires. But if a fight has to be fought, he is a highly capable and very determined military leader.Later in this series, he encounters higher beings, travelled backwards and forwards in time, visited other universes, often returned home.He is self aware, knows his limitations and is willing to take critical remarks. He’s a reasonable authority figure.He is about 187/188 cm tall, has dark blonde hair, charismatic gray eyes and a scar at his nose. While Perry has the adventures, Reginald Bull often stays at home and maintains the Solar Empire.He is 168 cm tall and stronger build and has shor redddish hair.Mory Abro-Rhodan (1960s)The second wife of Perry Rhodan. She was a rebel leader against a dictatorship in one of the earlier Terran colonies. She became the political leader of her peoples the Plophosians, the former Terran colonists.She’s more than 180 cm tall and has a pale skin and red hair.Thora da Zoltral (1960s)The former commander of the Aetron. After a cold start, she and Rhodan became friends, allies, fell in love, married. She was the first wife to Perry Rhodan and had an active role in unifying mankind despite the fact, she saw in the Earths humans just primitive barbarians, save for Rhodan and his men and women.She is slim-athletic, has long white hair, is more than 180 cm tall.Gucky (German), Plucky (English editions) (1960s)He’s a diminutive alien (only 1 meter tall) who looks like a mixture between a kind of mouse and a beaver. The original name of his species is “Ilts” and his original Ilt-name was Plofre. Due to his large and cute black eyes with which he looks around, the was called “Gucky” by the terran soldiers and Perry and his friends. He has telepathic, telekinetic and teleportative powers, often saves the day, has an easygoing personality who loves carrots and to be stroke and massaged by his friends, especially Reginald Bull.Icho Tolot (1960s)A Halutian of the present day, a scientist-philosopher-warrior-friend. He decided to observe the humans as his hobby. Due to the nature of his species as single-sex ones, he has motherly feelings for “his little Terrans”. He’s a living battle machine and guided Earths part of the mankind to the Andromeda Galaxy.He is 3.5 meters tall, 2.5 meters wide, has three eyes, a fear instilling mouth, four arms, two legs.Like every Halutian, he has two hearts, two brains. He can willingly switch his hearts. His one brain works like the human one and the other in the same skull, divided by a bone plate, is a highly efficient supercomputer.He can become a fearsome battle machine, able to withstand even major fire by enemy directed energy weapons. He can run wit the speed of 120 km/h and this for 15 hours straight without tiring. He can survive in the vacuum of space for hours and remain highly active. He can transform his biological structure into a material much harder than most metals. If he gets really angry, he easily can become a sheer force of nature.Like every Halutian, he even can devour stones to win the needed energy for his metabolism. So, a mountain itself is a good source of nourishment. Like every Halutian, he won’t starve to death if released on a barren world. He just starts to eat this world.Normally he has a calm, friendly, very respectful personality, knows humor and irony and has a vast knowledge about many things still hidden to the humans. He is absolutely loyal to his Terran allies, protects them at any costs but he knows some red lines.Don’t talk with him about the pregnancy of Halutians, don’t disrespect his privacy sphere in his own home on his own home planet and some other things. You’ll regret it.Legends wants that he loves the Terran music style Heavy Metal.Thanks to the typically very loud and deep voice every Halutian has, he has to “whisper” to Halutian standards if he’s around humans and even this sounds loud to human ears.Crossover thought: If transferred to the Marvel Universe, he would be a highly efficient Avenger, surpassing Tony Stark and even the Wakandans in his, their genius intellect level. At the same time, he could endure a battle even with the Hulk.Mirona Thetin (1960s)The former ruler of the Andromeda Galaxy. She’s a descendant of the original Earths Lemurians and became dictator about 20000 BCE. Her ruling name was Factor One of her gang of the “Masters of the Island”. Like her fellow Masters of the Island, she ruled in secret. She had a cover up identity as a ruler of a single solar system and since she sometimes did covert missions herself, she played an enemy of herself to lure the real enemies of the MoI in mean traps. In her role, she plays a well behaved, charismatic leader, friendly, patient, grateful. She can keep up this masquerade for a prolonged time without becoming suspicious. In her true self, she is a ruthless ruler who doesn’t have any issues with ordering the death of whole species, wars of cruel atrocities and she could be a cold hearted murderer. She got killed in the final battle between the Terrans, their Maak and Posbi allies in the now formerly secret main system of the MoI.Since she was an immortal like Atlan, she managed that Atlan fell in love with her. Atlans loyalty to his ally Perry Rhodan was stronger and so he killed her after finding out who she truly was.The Mutants (1960s)These “positive mutants” (called so since they’ve developed psychic powers instead of physical mutations) were Terrans with a wide variety of special abilities like telepathy, telekinesis, hypnosis, core-igniter, time dancers, micro vision, true clairvoyance, teleportation, manipulators of feelings etc.They joined Perry Rhodan in his first years as the unifier of mankind under the lead of John Marshall, an Australian accountant at the bank in his Australian home land.Ras Tschubai was one of the most important mutants, a teleporter comming from the black subsaharan Africa. Due to Rhodans equality approach, he was treated fully equal with his whitish European fellow mutants Real world perspective: And this was written into this series in the 1960s in a time, blacks weren’t considered full humans by most whites.Tako Kakuta was another teleporter of Japanese origin.Betty Toufry was a telepath.Andre Noire was a hypno.The Goratschin twins could ignite every molecular structure.The Woolver Twins were able to ride on every energy stream.Ernst Ellert was a time dancer.After the usage of an Arkonide educational computer to brain interface during the first contact months in 1971, even Rhodan himself became a weak telepath.I myself call them jokingly the “German X-Men”.One of the most important members was Gucky.Homer Gershwin Adams (1960s)He was a genius in the economic sector, infamous for illegal transactions. Rhodan, acknowledging his abilities hired him, brought him back to a more just way of life and made him his economic and industrial sub-leader. He erected the “General Cosmic Corporation” with the monopol on advanced alien technologies since Rhodan didn’t want any former super power on Earth to get the hands on alien technology too early.Homer G. Adams became the wealthiest man on Earth and his GCC the most powerful company, leaving former giants like Samsung or IBM far behind.The Robot Regent (1960s)The robot Regent was a super computer on the Arkonide main war world.It was created from the years around 6000 BCE by the then greatest Arkonide scientists under the lead of Epetran da Ragnaari. These scientists forsaw that the Arkonides one day will become complacent, decadent, out of touch with reality and too weak to maintain the Tai Ark’Tussan.This Robot Regent should take power if the state of the Arkonide civilization becomes too critical. This happened in the early 1980s.The Robot Regent, pre programmed with the political and moral mind set of the early, strong and expanding Arkonides, tried to restore Arkon to its former power by crating a vast armada of robotic war ships manned by desperately assembled ragtags of misfits.The Regent reconquered former Arkon colonial worlds and realms of other species which became client states to Arkon since the Regent didn’t acknowledge the legally acquired independence of these worlds and smaller galactic nations.The new “Pax Arkon” was a peace enforced by a cold and emotionless machine which “thought” that this would be in the best interest to Arkon.The Robot Regent, on the search for Arkonoide species learned about the existence of the so Arkonlike Terrans which fitted best into the racial profiling files. so, he tried to find Earth and to enslave mankind.Perry Rhodan had to prevent this and as the situation became too critical to Earth, Rhodan managed to convince the galaxy that Earth had been destroyed by another enemy power.Later, in the 2040s, the Robot Regent rediscovered the existence of Terra due to some traitorous Terrans but at the same time, an overlapping other universe interfered with ours and made whole planets populations suddenly disappear. The Regent, desperately enough, allowed Rhodan to take command over two third of the rebuilt Arkonide robot fleet to solve this problem by applying human qualities like intuition, creativity and illogical thinking.After Rhodan outlived his usefulness by solving this issue, the Regent plotted to take over Earth and its already fledgling Solar Empire which wouldn’t stood a chance against the Robot fleet of about 350′000 large war ships despite the fact, the Solar Empire had its own fleet, but just about 3500 larger warships.In a desperate attack on the Regent carried out by Rhodan and Atlan, Atlan managed to convince the Regent that he is the former crown prince of Arkon from an earlier dynasty. Since Atlan fulfilled the required profile (genius level intellect, being highly active, of noble blood), he got accepted as the new Emperor of Arkon thus “degrading” the Robot Regent to a “mere” super computer again.In the still early 22nd century CE, after almost 80 years of Atlans reign, the Robot Regent got destroyed in the aftermath of a conspiracy against Atlan since in a time travel mission, Rhodan and Atlan got interogated by Epetran da Ragnaari. This scientist prevented the destruction of the to be built Regent and programmed another sub-system which was able to destroy the Regent in the future, the present time of the Terrans when this system noticed that Atlan will be in danger within the Regent in a special manner of which Epetran learned by the interrogation of this future visitors to not to trigger this system during other dangerous moments too early in time.Nathan (1960s)Nathan is a super computer created by the Terrans on Moon during the 24th to 25th century CE. On the first look, it seems to be another version of the Robot Regent but due to an organic addition provided by allies of Terra, Natan had emotions, was able to take the humans and the moral concept of humanity into account and supported the now galactic super power Solar Empire which now overshadows even the former so mighty Arkon empire.Nathan vastly surpassed the Arkonide Robot Regent in computing power, humanity, a perfect symbiosis of digitally logical thinking and human like creativity and freedom.Aside of the Solar Fleet and the Mutant Corps Natan was one of the three major backbones of the Solar Empire and even its successor state, the League of Free Terrans farther into the future.Hakhat KakcyraHakhat Kakcyra was an ancient Lemurian admiral during the last years of the Lemurian-Halutian war around 49988 BCE. He was commander of the protective fleet in the central regions of the Milky Way galaxy protecting the giant solar transmitter (one of the last eyes of the needle through which the Lemurians fled to the Andromeda Galaxy) and its control-world Tanta-III.He was a highly experienced admiral.Later, the Terrans, the descendants of the Lemurians dedicated a large and important road in the Terran capital Terrania City to him, the Hakhat Kakcyra Road.Remark (Real world perspective)In the Perry Rhodan series, even in the 1960s, women had their share of active roles, they were in no way just “bridge bunnies” and sometimes they shaped the fictional story almost like the men which was very advanced in the typical 1960s culture.In addition, there were some other black African characters who wasn’t the “dumb African” stereotypes but fully humanly treated individuals like the lieutenant Tombe Gmuna who was an excellent secret agent and officer who guided Atlan through the Terrania City space port in 2040 after Atlan re-emerged from the Atlantic Ocean.ConclusionIt seems like I have to force myself not to continue to write more and more details about the Perry Rhodan series and its concept of futuristic space crafts.My information covered mostly “just the first 4.5 centuries of this fictional story with the view into the past.Later the series developed a fictional story almost reaching the 6th millennium BCE with journeys into parallel universes within this large fictional universe, into the far future, into the far past, in many other galaxies and so on.Currently, as of Oct. 20th 2018 issue number 2982 (every week one) had been released. Here’s some civilizations from the German pulp booklet weekly series PERRY RHODAN, the all caps are often used officially by the writers.A bit real world information:The series was founded in 1961 in the German town of Rastatt. The founding authors were Karl Herbert Scheer (called “Handgranaten Herbert” = “Hand Grenade Herbert” since he was the one writing the big space battles) and Walter Ernsting (pen name Clark Darlton. English name, since it then was fact that in Germany science fiction - IF! - was more sucessful when the writer seemed to come from an English speaking country).So, what was then the future has become the past to us in our real world.The series is issued on a weekly basis as 64 pages booklets or Ebooks (for instance on iBooks).There’re mostly about ten authors writing the novells and one or two authors writing the road map how the series should evolve during its unlimited runtime.In 1961 there were only 30 issues planned but due to the then massive success, the series got 20 more issues granted and then, the rest is history and now (as of Wednesday November 13 2019) there had been 3038 of these 64 pages books issued.In addition, there were spin of series (especially with the second main character), video games, a fan wiki which is vastly supported by the Pabel Moeving Verlagsunion and the official PERRY-RHODAN homepage links to the fan wiki, Perrypedia (in German but it has a build in translate function based on Google translate), when it comes to the introduction of the species’, characters, planets, timelines, galaxies, tech-gadgets etc.In the series own naming conventions, names of collective beings, the super intelligences, names of space vessels and space stations are written in all caps probably to differentiate them from planets, names of individual persons or so.Since the writers back in the 1960s didn’t have the modern Science Fiction terminology like “holograms”, “transporters”, “warp drive”, “matter replicator” or so at hand since these terms weren’t developed or commonly known back then they fully invented their own unique terminology. I’ll try to translate them into english as good as I can.In my description, I uses the data from the classic PERRY-RHODAN-Series. There was a full continuity reboot called PERRY-RHODAN-NEO, still running, started in 2011 to celebrate 50 years of this series which replaced some civilizations, changed some things, added new details. Their home world was in the M13 globular cluster, called Thantur Lok by the Arkonides.It is a monarchy led by the Tai’Moas (First Great of Arkon), beneath this emperor the Arkonides had the Tai’Than (which functions like the ancient Roman senate).More titles of the emperor were “His Million eyed all seeing hero of the noble houses of the worlds oldest, the Begam over the Million fleets, the one kissed by wisdom …” and 35 more lines of text if they used the shorter version of all his titles.During the whole history of the Tai’Ark Tussan and its successor states there were 500 Arkonide emperors.This empire was founded in around 19′000 BCE.It was divided into provinces of the empire governed by a Tato and the duchies, fiefdoms, small kingdoms by local Arkonide rulers.The two secret intelligences are the:- Tu-Ra-Cel, short for Tussan Ranton Celis (Argus Eyes of the Imperial Worlds). This happened in the late 1970s and the Robot Regent with the coldness of a machine forcefully restored the Pax Arkon by totally subjugating the formerly relatively independent client states, by totally reactivating the Arkon military fleet.They could destroy whole planets with Arkon Bombs. Once ignited, an Arkon bomb forces the matter of a terrestrial planet to fuse thus transforming the planet into a temporary miniature sun thus totally annihilating all life, all technology and once ignited, the removal of the warhead won’t help anymore. The calculations can take up to several hours, the hyper jump itself is a thing of a fraction of a second. With these vessels, they can traverse the whole Milky Way galaxy within a few days.Captain Janeway from the USS Voyager would weep.Thanks o the spherical nature of the space crafts, they don’t have a blind spot, they can attack in every direction with the same full force.With their nuclear torpedos fired with a fast paced cadence a Warhammer 40K heavy destroyer only can dream of and in the 1000 megatons range, they often created nuclear walls of sheer destruction into which enemy fleets inevitable will run into thus annihilating these fleets.In war times, their main military world Gor’Ranton (World of War) in their capital system was able to churn out dozens of these 800 meter giants in a few hours thanks to production lines, yes, they produced even their large space vessels like we today in our real world are mass producing cars. And their small vessels can be spit out every second from the production lines. And even if the Arkon system is under siege, the Arkonides have stored so much raw materials in advance that they can continue to mass produce their space ships for years to come.Most of their space crafts can be fully automated and function as gigantic military drones. So, they could sacrifice thousands, ten thousands of these robotic vessels if needed. But during most of their history, the Arkonides insisted to use manned space crafts since they had more than just a few traces of a proud warrior race.Well, and they hat billions of billions of battle robots in varying sizes and functions.Due to their experiences with paranormal forces they have developed counter measures like para jammers.In a full scale war between the Tai’Ark-Tussan at its absolute height at around 8000 BCE and the Dominion from the Star Trek universe, the Arkonides would have won easily, they wouldn’t have needed the Bajoran worm hole, they could have attacked the Dominion directly and if needed, they would have fully destroyed the first and the second home world of the Founders, they would have sent out about 35′000 or 150′000 war ships.And here is how the Arkonides would deal with the Imperium of Man on a full scale war.They absolutely could give the Imperium of Man from the Warhammer 40000 universe an extremely hard run for its money and they wouldn’t hesitate to use the Arkon bomb on Holy Terra, Luna and Mars if needed.If I read it right in the Warhammer 40000 Wiki, the Imperium of Man has a vast orbital defense grid in form of rings of space stations around the Solar System and on the planets itself. I didn’t read something about a three dimensional sphere of defensive space stations.Well, this would allow the Arkonides simply attack from above or below, directly aiming for Holy Terra thus bypassing the Imperium of Man defensive systems and this especially with their hyper translation engines.Due to the “minuscule” size of the planet destroying bomb, the Imperium is used to torpedos hundreds of meters in length when it comes to large scale destruction, the Imperium would totally underestimate its effects until it’s too late.And the Celisti with died hair and colored contact lenses easily could pass for Terrans thus first establishing some secret bases on Holy Terra to find out where to place the Arkon Bomb the best.Bye bye Holy Terra if Arkon decides to wipe out these Barbarians once and for all.Without Holy Terra → No God Emperor who functions as the beacon in the Immaterium → No beacon means no FTL travelling = Total destruction of the Imperium of Man in one decapitating strike.And Arkon rises to power, makes its culture a gift to the Galaxy, creating a new Pax Arkon.Dashe! Tussan! Gossner!!! (Long live the Empire!).And the Immaterium navigational problem?Thanks to all the calculations done before on their highly advanced positronic computers with their own artificial intelligence and the already existing experiences with a chaotic variant of the hyperspace, they won’t need psykers to navigate the Warp, they won’t need to navigate the Immaterium, they could jump through it via their hyper translation engine in form of an energy beam not recognizeable by the sadistic forces of chaos as something living thus to be tortured and could use it like the hyperspace in the original PERRY-RHODAN series after a little technological adaption.Especially since the Arkonides at their height of their then activeness and power were not restrained by the superstition of the Adeptus Mechanicus which believes in the “Machine God” which must not be angered by developing new things.And after the decapitating strike the Arkonides would be one of the few species still able to use the Immaterium “Hyperspace” thanks to their computers.The Orcs would be of no value for the Arkonides. The Eldar could be recognized as a cultivated albeit sadistic species, the T’au could be acknowledged if the T’au refrains from their “Greater Good” ideology towards Arkon, the new superpower in this galaxy. The Death Korps of Krieg would be annihilated by destroying their home-world via an Arkon Bomb. Since the Eiris, the living force of the “soul” from the PERRY-RHODAN species isn’t depend on the Immaterium, the Arkonides even could severe their little connections from the Immaterium without harming themselves.The Lemurians:Pictured above, some of the Lemurian star provinces, the Tamanians.They were the indirect forefathers of the Arkonides via the Akons and the Arbaraith-Lemurians.The Lemurians themselves looked a bit like the modern day real world Indians (the asian ones). They had weak parapsychological abilities like the Abjin-force.Their Kar Tamanon (Great Tamanium) was founded on Earth around 54′000 BCE, the Lemurians were the First Mankind which existed until 49500 BCE. Earth was called Lemur, the continent on which they lived was called Lemuria. It was sensitive to large nuclear explosions.So, the Lemurians once had a smaller super intelligence at their side which could have been comparable in power with a chaos god in the Warhammer 40000 universe, a kind of “god” which remained on the good side.Thanks to a wide spread strategy, the Kar Tamanon, divided into 111 stellar provinces, each much larger in extend than the United Federation of Planets, spanned across the whole Milky Way galaxy, then called Apsuhol (First Island) by the Lemurians and even the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy and right before the last war of their empire, they started to expand into the galaxy Karahol (Second Island = Andromeda Galaxy).The rulers were the 50 Tamarons of Lemur/Earth (a kind of states secretaries of the US or ministers of other western countries) with three voices in the whole ruling council. The 111 Tamars were the provincial governors with only one voice in the whole ruling council.They lost to another powerful species and the survivors on Lemur became the modern humans, the planet got known as Earth.The vast bulk of the Lemurians fled into the Andromeda Galaxy and here they became the modern day Tefrodians according to the series.In addition of all the abilities the Arkonides had, they had an even better and more precise FTL engine, the linear-engine which creates an in between tunnel between the normal space and the hyperspace (in todays sci-fi terms we would call it a kind of quantum wormhole engine).They with the aid of the Sun-Engineers could create whole solar systems, gigantic transgalactic matter teleporters, had a kind of projected stargate technology with which they could transport whole fleets from one to another part of the galaxy.The Lemurians started to develop time travel, created technologies which with they could travel to other universes, to separate the consciousness from a body to allow it to become much more powerful.The max size of their war ships, spherical like those of their Akon, Arkonide, Tefrodian and Terran descendants was up to 1800 meters in diameter.Their most powerful weapon was the Shimada Rip-apart Bomb, this weapon was able to rip a hole between the boundaries between the normal universe and the hyperspace. This rip could measure in the light years and totally annihilate a few solar systems at the same time and via a chain reaction, working on a faster than light base even more solar systems.Much of their non-destroyed technology despite built more than 50000 years ago still works as if it was built yesterday, therefore, the quality of the Lemurian technology became legendary among the civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy.The famous “Lemur Steel” surely was as durable as the Adamantium as used by the Imperium of Man in the Warhammer 40000 universe.And even in the wars of the 57th century CE between the galactic nations and extragalactic invasion forces, the large Lemurian machines often proofed useful for the Galacticans like the Terrans, Yülzish, Unither, Arkonides, Akons, Baalols, Dron, Ferrons, Topsider, Halutians, Galactic Traders, Ertrusians.The Kar’Tamanon got defeated by the Halutians in a slightly more than 100 years long galaxy wide war of annihilation, started by the Halutians. The Halutians once destroyed the Mega Intelligence ZEUT thus generating the asteroid belt which became known to the 20th century Terran astronomers with Ceres which was wrongly considered a Proto Planet sinc ethe Terrans didn’t know about the Planet Zeut and the Mega Intelligence back then.The HalutiansThe Halutians were the species the Lemurians lost in their last great war in their history.On a more smaller scale their weapons were much stronger than those of the Lemurians and the Halutians were a kind of “Mini Hulks” in physical power, genetically engineered by their creators out of a natural species.They totally feared time travel after their rebellion against their makers originating in the M87 galaxy since they wanted to be free. They believed that one day a species will try to eradicate them via time travel and a time paradox.The Lemurians, not knowing about this species and their fear of time travel conducted time travel experiemnts and prompted the Halutians to wage a kind of holy crusade against the “Time Criminals” as they called the Lemurians.When the Halutians, then called “The Black Beasts” by the Lemurians, conducted a landing operation, they fought as fanatical on their crusade against the Time Criminals like the most fanatical Space Marines plus Orcs from the Warhammer 40000 universe. Those landing parties became so traumatizing to the Lemurians that even their descendants 50000 years later reacted with an irrational fear and suicidal tendencies if they encountered a Halutian face to face.The Lemurians lost to the Halutians military wise in a more than one hundred years war but some Lemurians were able to develop a pacifying radiation which transformed the extreme warlike Halutians into a very peacefull society of scientists and individuals which voluntarily reduced the size of their population to exactly 100′000 individuals.An individual Halutian is 3.5 meters tall, up to 2.5 meters wide, has a black skin, four arms, two legs, a mouth with extremely sharp teeth, three red eyes. They can transform their bodies into an extremely strong crystalline substance and back, they have two hearts in case one has to heal or if they need more power.They have an “Oridinary Brain” which fully functions like the human brain and the “Planning Brain” which is an extremely powerful biological computer even surpassing the better electronics and positronics of the 24th century.Thanks to the Planning Brain, Halutians are totally immune to most paranormal attacks, good luck to even the strongest telepath out there to get some of his/her/? personal thoughts.They are immune to paranormal influence. They can function in space without a space suit for up to five hours straight, can eat everything, EVERYTHING, not like this “everything” of humans. Stone, wood, chemicals, all delicious sources of energy thanks to their converting stomaches. A Halutian is about 100 times stronger than the strongest average Terran human athlete. They can run with a speed of up to 100 km/h and this for 15 hours straight. They can react faster than many models of battle robots. They, are, living, battle, robots!Halutians are an unisex species. If a Halutian dies, another decides to procreate to keep the exact number of 100′000 Halutians constant.Luckily for the Federation, they are now a peaceful civilization which happily would cooperate with and support the Federation but not be willing to join it since they’re too much into their autonomy, individuality and self reliance on their home world Halut.Luckily for the Imperium of Man, the Orcs, the Eldar, Tau and Dark Eldar as well as the Tyranids they are only so few of them. They combined it into an extreme advanced technology.Their largest space crafts were the spherical shaped vessels of the GALAXY-class, 2500 meters in diameter, a tiny crew of 5000 was fully sufficient to operate such a giant in space which was able to accommodate hundreds of thousands of persons.They had:The transform cannon, their warheads had a power of up to 4000 megatons.Disintegrators which dissolved the binding forces between the electrons, protons and neutrons in an atom. and those between the molecules.the planet destroying Arkon Bomb.Their High-energy Overload force field redirects incomming enemy fire to the hyperspace.The Terrans had their own paranormal positive mutants (in contrast to thenegative mutations which results in physical deformities) I often call the German X-Men since the series was created in my homeland Germany. They even formed the Mutant Corps, vital in the defensive politics of the Terran state.Like with the Arkonides, they could mobilize up to 350′000 war ships in peace times. The Terrans transformed the moon of Earth into a first class military forge world which like the role model Gor’Ranton of the Arkonides could spit out several 2500 meter space crafts in one day thanks to the complex assembly lines.The Solar Empire the Terrans founded in 1990 comprised of about 5000 solar systems including smaller and mostly sovereign client states and despite the designation as an “empire” it behaved as a cooperative, primarily peaceful and scientific minded political entity.Its capital is Terrania City situated in the center of the Gobi dessert in Eastern AsiaPictured above, Terrania City, capital of the Solar Empire and later the League of Free Terrans.Its successor state after a centuries long crisis and war with an extragalactic species alliance was called League of the Free Terrans (LFT) and they had even stronger, more precise weapons in their second height of power in the early 13th century New Galactic Time whose first year was the year 3588 in the old Gregorian CE calendar.And the Terrans, Arkonides and Lemurians were only third tier civilizations in the whole fictional universe of the PERRY RHODAN series.Pictured above, the JUPITER-class capital space crafts of the LFT. They came into power after the New Lemurian Tamanium, founded by the Lemurians who fled the Halutians became a bit decadent and complacent (a bit like but by far not as strong as the Arkonides) which was about 25000 BCE or 25000 years after the Lemurian-Halutian war.The MdI organized themselves hierarchically according to their importance. The seven MdI the Terrans encountered from 2404 onwards were:- Faktor I the second: Mirona Thetin.- Faktor II Trinar Molat: ascetic in appearance, child molester. big game hunter.- Faktor III Proht Meyhet, the most just and noble of them. Nevertheless an evil guy.- Faktor IV Miras Etrin, wants to be Faktor I instead of Faktor I. The “Mr. Fanservice”.- Faktor V Nevis Latan, Plays the friendly evil guy.- Faktor VI Toser Ban, a preacher type, loves to hear himself talk.- Faktor VII Regnal Orton, totally cold blooded, speaks with an extreme lowered voice, everyone must do everything to catch every of his words.The original Faktor I was Agaia Thetin, the mother of Mirona and founder of the MdI. She died in an experiment after she offered her own cell activator, an immortality device.The missing six MdI were killed of by Mirona Thetin some millennia ago after they found out who Faktor I was. Mirona wanted to have this fact a total secret.The MdI were masters of time travel, stable time loops, had all the technology of their Lemurian forefathers, were experts in assimilating new technologies from even much older civilizations, hat multi duplicators with which they could mass produce whole armies of strictly loyal clones in just a few hours, even whole space crafts. They used a vast array of trap-systems between the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxy meant to deflect Halutians.They saw themselves as the godlike rulers over the Andromeda Galaxy and claimed the rule-ship over the original galaxy of their own Lemurian ancestors too.In the 25th century, they have become careless regarding the rise of their Terran relatives and fully underestimated them. In a war of only six years, Rhodan and his allies managed to fully annihilate the terror regime of the MdI by precisely destroying the most sensitive worlds and bases despite all the counter measures of the MdI.With the defeat of the MdI Rhodan, his Solar Empire and the Terran allies liberated the Andromeda Galaxy and Rhodan was determined to set right what fellow humans like the Lemurians, Arkonides have done to one of their allies, the Maahk.Among the fans, the “Meister der Insel Zyklus”, written in the mid 1960s, became one of the most legendary.Some more comparisons:Then they were the Powers To Be who were able to transport and construct galaxies, destroy them or even smaller pocket universes.Yes, the PERRY RHODAN series played in a vast number of galaxies and universes in several historical realities.The Perry Rhodan series don’t make use of the famous Kardashew scale since the series started before Kardashew created his famous scale of energy consumption by a civilization. The authors created their own “onion shell” model of civilizations main stages of development which became famous among the fans of the series.Regarding the ability to make use of an energy output, I would place the Terrans and even Arkonides at least roughly at K-03 since thanks to even a kind of hyperspace energy harvesting technology the Terrans, not yet the Arkonides, once acquired later, after the Masters of the Island arc they can make use of the infinite hyperspace energy which is much more than a galaxy can produce.The even much higher beings are at least solid Kardashew IV or even V civilizations.In an all out war between the Federation of Planets and even the old Tai’Ark Tussan, I would place my bet throwing in all my money, all my other material possessions I currently have on the Arkonides.Some Persons:Perry Rhodan:He is the titular character of the classic series. He was born in 1934 in Massachusetts as a son of a German immigrant. Already in his childhood he was interested in all things space.As an adult he was more than 187 or even 190 cm tall, slim-athletic, had dark blonde hair, gray eyes.In 1971 he was the astronaut and major of the US Space Force founded by US president JFK after Allan D Mercant, then leader of the CIA, was able to thwart the assassination of him.In this year, he and his fellow astronauts captain Reginald Bull, captain Clarc Flipper and captain Eric Manoli made the first manned moon mission with the moon rocket STARDUST with the first functioning nuclear engine for a space craft.On the moon they discovered a stranded alien space craft, the Arkonide AETRON with the Ka’Marentis (chief scientists of the Tai’Ark-Tussan) Crest da Zoltral and Vere’Athor (Captain) Thora da Zoltral. Here, Rhodan learned about the Arkon Empire and other space faring civilizations. He decided that no Earths nation should gain access to the Arkonide technology and fully went AWOL, founded his own country and prevented the nuclear world war triggered by his landing in the dessert of Gobi.In 1984, Rhodan managed to make the galaxy believe Terra was destroyed and he himself was killed in a military conflict with the Mehandor, the galactic traders.Now, he has won enough time to built up the Solar Empire which was founded in 1990.Later, Rhodan got an immortality chip by the super intelligence ES (IT in the English version).Atlan da Gonozal:This is an Arkonide of the noble House of Gonozal.He is 187 cm tall, athletic, has the Arkonide white hairs, golden-red eyes, was a womanizer, lover of good wine, good and rich food in smaller great restaurant and he loves the flower of cloves in its rich colors and variations as well as having strolls on remote beaches (preferable with the women he learned to know and love throughout his multi-millennia long life) and meaningful conversations with men and women of intellect.He was born on the 35th Prago of the Dryhan 10.479 da Ark (09th October 8045 BCE) as son of Mascudar da Gonozal (emperor Gonozal VII) and empress Yagthara Agh'Hay-Boor.His father named him Mascaren da Gonozal but his mother wanted to name him Atlan after one of the mythical Heroes of the Arkonide mythology named Tran-Atlan. Later, Atlan went with the name his mother gave him, partially since he in his young years needed to go into hide from a coup d’etat against his father to fight the junta who robbed his father’s throne since the name “Atlan” was unknown to the occupiers.In around 8000 BCE he involuntarily stranded on Earth. Venus (within the Perry Rhodan series described as a jungle planet before the real world Soviet Venera space probes) was colonized by an Arkonide outpost under the command of a corrupt planetary governor and Atlan, the Cristal Prince by the order of his uncle who returned the throne back to the noble house of Gonozal, was ordered to help out the civilians suffering under this governor. He resettled some who didn’t could live well under the extremely humid conditions on Venus (Larsaf II) in the Arkonide stellar catalogues and Brough them to an island Atlans second in command Tarts named after him, the island of Atlantis.Here, on Larsaf III as the Arkonide called Earth back then he had to fight an extra universal thread was able to transmit some secret construction plans to his Arkonide home and during these conflicts he lost the ability to return to Arkon. Arkon itself was involved in a large scale galactic war thus preventing Arkon from saving Atlan.Atlan got forgotten on Earth (the war was so bad, the Arkonide forgot their own designated future emperor, the Crystal Prince on a remote barbarian planet!) thus making him an involuntarily exiled one and to return home, he, from the background, helped mankind to develop. Like with Perry Rhodan, he got an immortality chip by a super intelligence.On Earth, he didn’t stay awake the whole time, he often retreated into his sub maritime fortress south of the Azores becoming human popsicle to shorten his waiting for the humans to have developed interstellar FTL space flight.During his involuntary exile on Earth he:- thought the humans to write.- witnessed the rise of the ancient Egyptians and assisted the early pharaohs like Sneferu and Khufu to create the pyramids.- Rode alongside Alexander the Great.- witnessed the rise of the Roman Empire (which remembered him so strongly in his Arkonide homeland so that he, who by then was homesick, started to hate it a bit out of his feelings as the exiled on Earth wanting to return to Arkon so badly. So he even supported Hannibal.- Aided Quin Shih Huang Ti to unify China and preventing him to do even worse things as this first emperor of China already did.- Fought other aliens coming to Earth thus protecting Earth.- Was a teacher to Leonardo da Vinci.- Aided Eastern Rome to improve the cities defensive walls making them much better.- Fought another alien named Nahit Nonformale which fed on evil emotions from the humans.- was once during the early 1960s in Germany, visited Munich.- He was the one giving the US Space Force the nuclear engine in the mid 1960s which was a museum piece to the Arkonides even 10000 years ago seen from 1971.- In 2040 after 69 years of cryostatic sleep he woke up after his last cycle as a human popsicle and found out that the humans didn’t eradicate themselves in the nuclear war in 1971 triggered by the landing of Perry Rhodan in the dessert of Gobi and that the humans now calling themselves Terrans and having interstellar FTL space flight. He was surprised that Perry Rhodan still was alive and seemingly a young man.After some struggles, he and Rhodan became friends and allies but they had to have their fights like on the planet Hellgate.He became the emperor of Arkon in 2044 after the Robot Regent accepted him as a member of the House of Gonozal and as a highly active Arkonide with an intelligence exceeding the value of 50 lerc (an Arkonide variant of the Earths IQ).Atlan and Rhodan became good friends and Atlan as the new emperor of Arkon supported Terra and its still young Solar Empire.Atlan, used to a highly active Arkonide civilization hated the decadence and complacence of the modern Arkonides and after a rule of almost 100 years during which he tired to awake the Arkonides, he gave up and “threw the cristal scepter into the corner” as he once formulated it.With the aid of the Solar Empire and his ally and friend Rhodan he founded the United Stars Organization (USO), a galaxy wide operating secret service and galactic police and with this organization he was able to support his by now voluntarily chosen home of Terra much better after the Solar Empire became powerful enough to stand on its own without the Arkonide support.Within the USO he was the governing Lord Admiral.Gucky (Plucky in the English version):He was another early ally to the early Terrans around Rhodan. He belongs to the species of the Ilt, which lookks like mice with beaver attributes. He is one meter tall and is a teleporter, telekinet and telepath in personal union. He easily is one of the more powerful allies of Rhodan.He loves carrots, to be massaged, has an easygoing peace loving personality (on a few occasions even he called for harsh measures and if he calls for such, even Rhodan listens since he knows the peace loving nature of him) despite the tragic fate of being the sole survivor of his species.Real world information: Due to the massive popularity of Gucky among the fans, the writers have stated that he belongs to the “triumvir” aside of Rhodan and Atlan of those protected by an extra thick plot armor thus not dying the whole runtime of the series.Icho Tolot:He is a Halutian who studied mankind as his hobby. In 2400 he made contact with the Terrans by handing them Terran soldiers over who got into a space distress situation.To this gentle giant, the Terrans are “His Little Ones” and due to the unisex thing among the Halutians he has motherly feelings towards the Terrans.To him, learning about the conflict between the Lemurians and Halutians back in around 49900 to 50080 BCE was a shock.He was and still is one of the most loyal allies to the Terrans.ES:He is a collective being, a super intelligence, already many dozen of millions of years old. He oversees the local galaxy group and protects it against evil enemy forces which are on the same plane of existence as him.He started to prefer humanoids, especially the Arkonides and later Terrans. He gave Rhodan, his fellow Terran immortals and Atlan the immortality chip implanted in the shoulder after the first generation of these immortality device, egg shaped cell activators worn on a chain on the neck.To Rhodan and his fellow Terrans and allies he appears as an old man, a bit like god Odin from the Germanic and Norse mythology. He uses WANDERER as his disc shaped home world, a giant space craft with a diameter of more than 3500 kilometers from which he operates.The butterflies are another manifestation of this collective being and his/its essence of existence.Mory Abro Rhodan:She is the second wife of Perry Rhodan and the democratic ruler of a Terran colonial nation, the Plophosians. Aside of her husband, she was an important political leader of mankind of the 24th century.Real world information: Mind you, it was the 60s, a time in which women didn’t have a place in the (higher) ranks of politics in even the western countries so, writing about a female leader of a Terran offshoot culture and this in a good light was very visionary for the time it was written into the series. The same goes for Thora.Crest da Zoltral:He is the leading scientist of the Arkonides in the 20th century. To seek out the legendary world of ES he and Thora stranded on the Terran moon.Thora da Zoltral:She is the commander of the AETRON and was the first wife to Perry Rhodan. Aside of Rhodan, she helped to shape the early Solar Empire and after a rough start she was a fully loyal ally to the Terrans.Tako Katkuta:He was one of the first positive mutants who joined the Terran unification movement founded by Rhodan in 1971. He was a teleporter.Ras Tschubai:Ras Tschubai is another mutant of the first hour within the Perry Rhodan universe. He is a teleporter. Later, he became one of the most important members of the Mutant Corps and well respected.Remember, this was written in the early 1960s. The authors treated the Sub Saharan African Ras Tschubai as a full human, not as a “Negro Boy”, they wrote that he was fully respected by the other humans including the fellow mutants, so, in this picture, he just saves this woman from a danger by just teleporting away from the dangerous situation.John Marshal:He was one of the first positive mutants joining Rhodans early forces. This Australian became the leader of the Mutant Corps. He was a telepath and prior to his career in the Mutant Korps a bank clergy.Allan D. Mercant:He was leader of the CIA and an advisor to US president John F Kennedy. After the first contact between Rhodan and the Arkonides around Crest and Thora he became leader of the “International Intelligence Agency” which duty was to capture some Arkonide technology from the first country Rhodan founded. Secretly, he came to the conclusion that it would be much better to support Rhodans attempts to unify Earth facing threads from outer space mankind only could survive unified. Later, he became the first leader of the “Solarian Defense” the secret service of the Solar Empire and aside of Rhodan, the aforementioned mutants a bearer of the first generation of the immortality devices, the cell activators.Homer Gerswhin Adams:After some shady economic operations he once got jailed. He got liberated by Rhodan acknowledging his economic skills. Rhodan made him the leader of the General Cosmic Company which sold watered down Arkonide technology to the Terran market. Later he became the minister of economics and finances of the Solar Empire.Mirona Thetin:She was the ruler of the Tefrodians and the whole Andromeda Galaxy during the Terran expedition into this galaxy in the early 25th century. She was that already for 20 millennia thanks to a cell activator developed by her biological father.She was a cruel ruler and absolutely power hungry leader of the Masters of the Island, a small group of initially 13, later just seven Tefrodians seeing themselves as Lemurians who enslaved a whole galaxy.Mirona Thetin hid her fuction as the Faktor I of the Masters of the Islands (MOI / MdI) and during the late 24th and early 25th century she publicly played the role of the Tamar of the Sulvy Solar system and a critique of the MOI terror regime to personally gather the trust of the enemies of the Masters.She even managed to conceal her cell activator from the Terrans and managed to gain their trust by sacrificing one of her planned attacks on Terra by telling the Terrans the important details about that and even by publicly visiting Terra in her role as the Tamar of the Sulvy System genuinely beloved by the Tefrodians living in this solar system believing she actually is an enemy to the MOI.In a fierce battle with Atlan after the Terrans and their allies fully conquered the central world of the MOI, who even fell in love with the friendly face of Mirona, she who revealed her-selves to Atlan as the Faktor I of the MOI got defeated by Atlan.Gaumarol da Bostich:IHe is the so far last emperor of the successor state of the Tai’Ark Tussan, the Gos’Tussan (Cristal Empire).He started as an unremarkable puppet to his “puppet masters”, later killed them of and became the actual ruler of Arkon. He aimed to “make Arkon great again” by reconquering as much of the lost territories of the Tai’Ark Tussan as possible.Even in his darkest era during which he acted as the enemy to Terra he always stuck to his given words.Later, he became a tool for an extragalactic entity named SEELENQUELL and in these months he reformed the Gos’Tussan into the Huhany’Tussan (Godly Empire). After his liberation by the Terrans and some Arkonides he learned to trust others again.He re-reformed the “Huhany’Tussan” back into the Gos’Tussan.He made a partial heel face turn and additionally became the chairman of the Galacticum, a kind of United Nations of the Milky Way Galaxy thus paving the way for a more unified Milky Way which, after unifying Terra in the 1970s was another goal of Perry Rhodan who didn’t insist to become the “ruler” of the Milky Way since his other political positions were sufficient to him.Gaumarol da Bostich never cared much whether his aides and ministers he appointed were pure blooded Arkonide aristocrats or not as long as they were loyal and were the best in their jobs. So, he promoted his citizen friend and colonial Arkonide Aktakul to the rank of the Ka’Marentis, the science and research minister of Arkon.For an Arkonide aristocrat, he wears his hair remarkably short.Later, he fought, aside of the Terrans and other Galacticans against other extragalactic invaders.After Atlan, he became the second Arkonide bearing a cell activator thus making him ageless immortal.In addition, he is pragmatic and knows when his own experiences aren’t sufficient to deal with a situation thus making him order for instance the very experienced Terran Perry Rhodan or Reginald Bull to do the jobs they’re fitting into. Gaumarol and Rhodan became fire forged allies.The Robot Regent:Pictured above, just a minor most internal structure of the Robot Regent who/which calls himself “Great Coordinator”.
