Does someone from HR come along with a pad, write that down and then go back to HR and key it in?I can’t conceive of what anyone could put on a white board that would, in aggregate, allow me to do payroll and yet not cross any confidentiality lines.If you put your 4-SSN up there along with your work hours, I’m not so sure your coworkers have a right to see your hours. Ditto if you were to write down job or client codes. You certainly shouldn’t have your pay rate up there. In some states, it’s legal for you to tell others your rate (California is one), but it’s not legal for us to broadcast it.So again, I’m confused — what on earth could putting your SSN on a white board have to do with any legitimate need in the payroll process?

They rarely care about their employees, I've read the reviews that they literally suck the blood out of their employees just for their profit.For comparison,HDFC MD Aditya Puri earns close to 20 crore plus other share earning while SBI Chairman Rajnish Kumar earns mere 31 lakh PA.HDFC NPA is close to 2.5% while that of PSBs is close to 12 percent this year and is supposed to cross 15 percent in march 2021.HDFC is strict on its lending while PSBs aren't.You see, every government department has its prime motto of serving common people like us first then generate profit out of it. For example, Railway operating ratio was 99.xx% which means for every 100 rs earning they spent 99.xx money. If railway's only intention was to earn profit they could've done it by operating frieght car which gives them immense profit. Due to lockdown, railway had completed more than 200 projects. Whatt!Same for PSB, if government care about their employees, farmers, common man like we, they won't privatise all the PSBs out there. Yes, talk is going on. But we'll still be left with some psb which won't be privatised. This fiscal, almost all the bank has reported profit.Regarding preparation? Start your preparation now, it's now or never.
