Is a license required to import clothing into the US from Europe?
There is license required. You just pay all duty fees related to import. A forwarder shipping agent can help you with all paper works. Are you familiar with bonds? You need to have at least a one time bond, bill of lading (original), invoice, and the Importer Security Filing '10+2'.

If importing into the USA, 30% down is ok.
