I’m a little baffled. She’s married. Does she make Dax sign and get witnessed a consent form every time he wants to kiss her?I mean, sure, if you don’t already have a romantic relationship, kissing people while asleep generally isn’t kosher. But as a general statement, I have to disagree. Parents kiss their sleeping kids. Husbands and wives kiss each other. Even boyfriends and girlfriends kiss each other while asleep.Unless she meant not fair in the sense of not being able to kiss them back, then I just have to disagree with this statement.Original question-“Kissing someone in their sleep, without their consent, is not fair”, says Kristen Bell. The theory there is that the fertilized egg is a human already.I am very active in my Catholic church community, and I can say with certainty that no one there under the age of 60 agrees with the official Catholic teachings on contraception.What many conservatives are against is:federal government funding of birth control.forcing employers to provide insurance which covers birth control.giving birth control to students in public school without parental consent.allowing children under the age of 18 to have abortions without parental consent.late-term abortions.You’ll notice that the first two on that list are different forms of: “sounds like a personal problem you got yourself into… don’t expect me to pay for it.” (Yes, I know, some very small percentage of abortions are due to rape and incest. The vast majority are not.)The third and fourth things on the list are more about the rights of the parent taking precedence over the rights of the State. The State says that the parents are legally responsible for their children until they are 18. That child can’t sign a contract until they are 18. They can’t buy cigarettes, go into a casino, watch a porn (legally), or do many other things until they are 18. Yet, in some places, including here in Chicago, they can go to their school nurse and not only get all the taxpayer-funded condoms they want, they can also have an IUD put in, without the parents’ knowledge. And, in some places, they can have an abortion, without the parents’ knowledge.

One major reason is the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If a website operator collects information from users that it knew or should have known are children under 13, then there are parental consent requirements, which can be met through several mechanisms (such as sign-and-mail parental consent forms or a verification that the user has a credit card) that are specified by the Federal Trade Commission. Many websites therefore ask for your date of birth to rely on the user's submission that they are 13+ (and disallow you from registering if you are under 13).
