It’s a definitely expensive but I think it’s worth it to me because I know I can thrive there.I’m gonna attend NYU because I love the school and while it’s expensive I view it as an investment into my future so NYU 2024

I would have to say the US and Singapore are among the best countries/city-states that do academic research on China.The US has the world’s top ranked universities and has a number of “China Institutes” and “China Studies Departments” in reputable universities that serve as research hubs for professors and visiting scholars to do rigorous academic research on various facets of modern China, whether it be economics, politics, society, etc. Harvard University has the famous Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies. USC has the US-China Institute where I used to intern. Georgetown University has a reputable Asian Studies program, which has a focus on China. UC San Diego has the 21st Century China Center. There are a handful of academics in US universities who have spent the majority of their professional careers researching China, enriching common knowledge for the academic community.Furthermore, the US has the world’s top-ranked think tanks, and a number of which devote a great deal of research and analysis on China. For example, the world’s top ranked think tank Brookings, has its own China Center. CSIS in Washington, DC has the China Power Project. The RAND Institute in Southern California also does research on China. Given China’s emergence as the world’s largest economy based on PPP and solidifying its role as a global economic superpower, it is expected that the study of China in the United States will hold greater importance among scholars and academics.Singapore also has demonstrated a strong ability to do research on China.
