Finally the Results are out. PDF is available in the UPSC website.Congratulations to all those who have cleared the exam.And it would be a great learning experience for those could not make it. Life is much much bigger than just one exam. It's time to reflect in a positive tone before making any decisions. I don't claim the authenticity of these info:a) CAT order is not clear. There is a large scope for ambiguity on many places of the order. (Order copy is not available in CGAt website. If any of you find it please share.)b) UPSC is consulting its lawyers for further actions.c) Few litigant upsc candidates have appealed to the high court against the order.d) UPSC is ready with the Result sheet, but waiting for decisions.MY take: If the verdict was not messy and ambiguous, UPSC would have published the results yesterday only. Lot many variables are playing this time. Too much of uncertainty and too much of anxiety. Years of hardwork, pain, sacrifices and ambitions of parents are all at the stake. It's better to focus on the work infront of us - preparing for interview or completing optional syllabus or honing up any value addition skills.What's your take? Candidates who have got EWS certificate upto 15th Aug 2019. UPSC has to workout the list accordingly. How much time they need?Update as on 13/01/2020 11:30 am: (unconfirmed) Judgement pronounced in favour of UPSC arguments. (CAT yet to release the Order Copy). Results by evening or tomorrow morning.Update as on 10/01/2020: EWS case verdict will be declared by CAT on 13th Jan 2020 10:30 am. Possibly, hopefully, UPSC may release the RESULTS by Monday evening.The following court order (came in November 2019) describes the EWS issue systematically. The below Doc is self explanatory.Update: Satabdi Mazumdar vs DoPT Case Hearing is preponed to 06/01/2019.Case details as on 06/01/2020No updates from UPSC's What's New:UPSC MAINS results will be out only after January 16th 2020. please refer the case in Central Administrative Tribunal http://www.cgatnew.gov.in/catweb/Delhi/services/order_view.php?filing_no_link=110720085372019@2019-12-09@4The gist of the case is that Many candidates belong to EWS didn't have the required documents during the mains application time due to incapability of issuing authorities in many states. But they were allowed to write the Mains exam by CAT order dated 18.09.2019. Now the issue is about whether to include EWS or not in the Mains result. Next hearing is scheduled for 16/01/2020.The results date are predictable based on the past 3 years trends.2018 Mains was conducted between 28th September to 7th October. And the result was published on 20th December. 74 days. Passed out candidates 1994.2017 Mains was conducted between 28th October to 3rd November and the Result was published on 10/01/2018. 68 days. Passed out candidates 2568.2016 Mains was held from December 3 to December 9. And the Result was published on 22 February 2017. 75 days. Passed out candidates 2961.2019 mains was conducted between 20/09/2019 to 29/09/2019. By today ie, 26/12/2019 it is 88 days, and the results are not yet published.In its calendar of events, UPSC clearly mentions the Date of Notification, Application Start - End date, Prelims, and (Tentative) Mains examination date. But it never mentions the Results Date.UPSC is Disciplined and Punctual (Historically Proven). Thus, we should expect the Result to be OUT by today or tomorrow.Hence we should not listen to any Insider Info or Coachingwalla’s Sacred words about the results date. To that matter, people staying in UPSC office also don't know, because results will be declared only after the final signature of the Chairman or board member (whoever responsible person maybe).All the Best for your Results.Believe in KARMA. God will definitely help, in one or other way, to those who are sincere and honest with their efforts. Let us ACCEPT the will of Existential force and be ready to embrace both sides of the results POSITIVELY.But until results, don't waste time in anxiety and fear. You have done your best in the prelims and mains. Results is not in our hands. Try making some interesting activities which will rejuvenate and re energise for the further battles ahead.PS: use Press Information Bureau if the UPSC servers are slow to check the results.

Apple usually releases a new version of iWork in January (but that's not always the case), and despite the naming convention, there's not necessarily one released each year.Timeline of past releasesiWork '05 — January 22, 2005.iWork '06 — January 10, 2006.iWork '08 — August 7, 2007.iWork '09 — January 6, 2009.iWork for iPad — January 5, 2010.During Apple's Back to the Mac event, held on October 20, 2010 (http://apple.com/apple-events/october-2010), the upcoming Mac App Store was revealed. In the demo, iWork and iLife apps were shown in the store. The screenshot, viewable online at http://apple.com/mac/app-store/, showed iLife apps being sold individually for $14.99 each, and iWork apps being sold individually for $19.99.Apple has historically released iLife and iWork updates at the same time, however that has not been the case with iWork '11 and iLife '11. iLife '11 was released on October 20, 2010, and iWork '11 was not. Since iWork will be available in the Mac App Store, it seemed likely that Apple would release the next major release of iWork when the Mac App Store launched, but that didn't happen. The next version of iWork was also not released with the Lion launch, even though that would've made a lot of sense as well.At this point (August 2011), it seems like the most likely release date for a new major version of iWork would be along with the launch of iCloud in fall 2011. Apple would need to update all of their iWork applications at that point to support the iWork-in-the-cloud features that they're announced (http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/documents.html), so it'd make sense for them to release updates to both the Mac and iOS versions of the apps at the same time. iCloud is scheduled to be released this fall along with iOS 5, and if a new version of iWork is released at that point, it'd likely be referred to as iWork '12.
