If you want the upscale inner-city penthouse life then you want the Plaza.The outlying suburbs are all good. Almost all middle to upper middle class with good schools. There’s Liberty, Lee's Summit… Olathe, Parkville… Lenexa, Overland Park, De Soto to name a few. The Kansas City Metro area covers 15 counties in two states. I’ve left out a lot that are just as good.
