I'm currently working as Assistant Professor at Government Engineering College Ajmer & also taken up various SWAYAM Courses as Faculty for completion of FDPs. So, I think I am in a good position to answer your query.Students progress tracking is a essential & easy task with SWAYAM portal. I'll mention out the key points below -Your institution should be enrolled as a Local Chapter under SWAYAM.Institute level coordinator is appointed to manage the local chapter as SPOC Admin.S/he manages the local chapter like fee payment, course registrations etc.SWAYAM Portal is equipped with Mentorship program where a faculty may register her/himself as mentor for a specific course.S/he needs to enroll for the same course alongwith students.Faculty needs to get his Mentorship approved by the institute coordinator of SWAYAM local chapter.Once approved, students shall be able to choose her/him as their mentor from SWAYAM Portal.Now the faculty member can monitor the progress of students.There are 2 major restrictions -A faculty member can monitor at the maximum of two courses per semester.Number of students a faculty can take up as mentees is capped at 50.This semester I will be taking the course on Water supply engineering as course coordinator at institute and mentor faculty at the SWAYAM portal for the interested students of my class if 6th semester, Civil Engineering.*Note -I'll update the answer soon with relevant procedure & images.
