I imagine that qualification to the Senior Championships would be done through performance at the Provincial championships. But I imagine that the most efficient way would be to join one of the major wrestling clubs. For freestyle, it seems like Burnaby Mountain, Brock, Team Impact, and Guelph. For Greco-Roman includes Black Bear and Tristar. The Women clubs include Dinos.

How can I participate in PMCO?

Players 2.1. Eligibility 2.1.1. Player Age. In order to be eligible to participate in a Tournament as a player, an individual must have reached the age of majority in his or her country of residence before the start of the Tournament and must comply with any applicable age ratings for PUBG MOBILE established by the app store for the game where the player downloaded the game. If a player is under such age but older than 16 years of age (i.e. the player has lived for at least 16 calendar years) as of the Tournament start date, he or she may still enter the Tournament if he or she meets the other eligibility criteria in these Competition Rules and the Registration Rules and a parent or legal guardian accepts these Competition Rules and the Registration Rules on behalf of the player, and consents to the player’s participation in the Tournament, using a parental consent form provided by the Tournament Organizer. 2.1.2. Ranking Requirement. All players on a Team’s roster must have held a ranking for PUBG MOBILE of “Platinum” or above, in any mode (TPP or FPP) at the time of registration for the Club Open. 2.1.3. Regional Requirement. The Club Open culminates in an international tournament (the Global Finals) in which Teams from different geographical regions will compete for the DC: 6959980-5 3 title of world champion. The top Teams from each Region, along with one wildcard spot winner, will compete in the Global Finals. In order to maintain the regional identity of teams that compete in a global competition and to encourage the type of regional identification that is important to fans and sponsors, each Team is required to maintain, at all times during the Club Open, no fewer than three players that are residents of the Team’s home Region. (A) Team’s Region. A Team’s home Region is identified by the Team Captain at the time of registration and may not be changed at any time during the Club Open without the prior written approval of the Club Open Officials. (B) Resident Defined. A player is considered a “Resident” if the player is a lawful permanent resident of a jurisdiction in the Region. (C) Certification of Residency. All players shall certify their residency prior to participation in any live, in-person Tournament (“LAN Event”) by providing proof of residency as defined below. Club Open Officials reserve the right to request legal proof to verify a player’s age, residency or compliance with other eligibility requirements in these Competition Rules or in the Registration Rules. (D) Proof of Residency. In order to be certified as a Resident by Club Open Officials, a player must prove lawful permanent residency in the Region with a valid identification document (e.g. driver’s license, passport, national identity card) issued by a governmental authority of a jurisdiction in the Region or have a valid residency visa (i.e., work visa, athlete visa, student visa). Teams that qualify for the Global Finals will be required to provide passport information to verify travel arrangements to the Global Finals. (E) Single Residency Status. A player may only be a Resident of a single Region at any point in time. A player who has lawful permanent resident status in multiple Regions cannot be a Resident of two Regions simultaneously. Once a player declares residency in one Region in which he/she is eligible, the player may only switch Regions with advance approval by Club Open Officials. If a player becomes a lawful permanent resident of a jurisdiction located in another Region during the course of the Club Open competitive season, the Club Open will only recognize the player as a Resident of such Region as of the date of the first Tournament Game in the Global Finals. (F) Residence Requirement Violations. Each Team is responsible for ensuring that its players meet the applicable residency requirements and that the Team has the required minimum number of players who are residents of its Region. It shall be a violation of these Competition Rules, by both the Team and the player, if a player (or his or her parent or guardian) provides false, misleading or incomplete information resulting in the misclassification of such player’s residency and Region. Such a violation will subject the Team and/or player to disciplinary measures as outlined in these Competition Rules and the Registration Rules. 2.2. Notwithstanding any approval that may be provided by the Tournament Organizer, the entire risk and responsibility for obtaining the right to use a corporate name or the intellectual property of third party in or as part of a player’s name or Gamer Tag shall be with the player. The reasonable expenses incurred by a player in travel to and from a Media Event will be borne by the Tournament Organizer or Proxima. The Tournament Organizer shall have the right to sanction or disqualify any player or Team that fails to attend and participate fully in any scheduled Media Event. This is all from the PMCO Website.

How did Donald Trump manage to dodge the Vietnam draft?

Here is a copy of the page containing Donald Trump’s selective service record:From the line that contains Donald John Trump’s name we learn that Trump registered for the draft on June 14th, 1964, which was right after his graduation from the New York Military Academy. No date is mentioned for the return of the mail.He was 18 years old and was required to register at that time.He started school at Fordham University in the fall of 1964, spent two years there and transferred to the Wharton Real Estate school. After the initial registration we see that his selective service classification changes as follows.II-S 7/28/64II-S 12/14/65I-A 11/22/66II-S 12/13/66II-S 1/16/68I-A 7/9/68I-Y 10/15/68IV-F 2/1/72He was initially classified as II-S, which is an educational deferment.II-SRegistrant deferred because of activity in studyFrom this we can conclude that he applied for and was granted an educational deferment to study at Fordham. His status lapsed once to I-A during the next four years - which means he was late renewing his educational deferment, most probably.I-A means eligible for military service.I-AAvailable for military serviceFour times, in total,Trump received the II-S status. Finally Trump went back to I-A in July, 1968, when he had graduated Wharton. He wanted to join his father’s real estate business that year, did not want to do post-graduate study, and did not want to apply for conscientious objector status, IV-W:IV-WConscientious objector who has completed alternate service contributing to the maintenance of the national health, safety, or interest in lieu of induction into the Armed Forces of the United StatesThis status, had he applied for it and had it been granted, would have required him to do alternative service - and it would have required him to take a stand on principle against participation in the war and convince the draft board that his objection was sincere. It would have been a social stigma at the time.Had he not been granted CO status he would have had no alternatives but to agree be inducted or to go to prison.Under the column labelled Armed Forces Physical Examination there are two dates: 12/11/66 and 9/17/68. Right next to that appears to be the notation Disq (possibly short for disqualified) in the sub-column labelled: Results. So, since his status was changed to I-Y, in October 1968, we can conclude that most likely he got his father to find him a doctor to write him a letter to get him the I-Y medical deferment.I-YRegistrant available for military service, but qualified for military only in the event of war or national emergencySince there was no declared war or any national emergency during the entire Vietnam War, the I-Y status rendered him ineligible for service even if his name were entered in the lottery when it finally took place in November 1969.Whatever number he got in the lottery it was irrelevant because of his I-Y status.Without that I-Y classification he stood a very good chance of being called up that year, 1968, which was the year of the Tet offensive. Hundreds of thousands were drafted that year.He has talked a lot of nonsense about the issue, even claiming it was ultimately his “phenomenal” lottery number that saved him from being drafted. But that should be no surprise. Much of what Trump says about himself is lies, exaggeration and /or misdirection. No copy of the doctors letter that gained him the I-Y status exists with the selective service agency, and Trump has claimed he doesn’t have a copy anymore. So personally I dismiss all the stories Trump has made up about bone spurs being the reason for his medical deferment. Finally, in 1972, his status was changed to IV-F.IV-FRegistrant not qualified for any military serviceSo he became permanently ineligible. I am not quite clear on the reasons for that final change. In the column labelled Remarks, there appears the notation “y x x”, whose meaning is opaque to me.To summarize: Trump’s story was very common among privileged children who wanted to avoid service in Vietnam. Poor black kids from Harlem, and poor white kids from West Virginia or Brooklyn did not get four deferments for college and one medical deferment that effectively permanently exempted them from service in Vietnam. Many young men of military age were called up - many showed up for service when called. And, some significant number of people - I have known a few - fled to Canada when they were drafted, since like Donald Trump, they also did not want to serve in Vietnam. Unlike Donald Trump, they did not all have an ultra-rich parent to help smooth the way.
