I worked at Cisco Bangalore campus(5 years ago). I’m just mentioning the plus-points here while I was working at Cisco.Very friendly atmosphere. No work pressure. Managers are very professional and there is no political game I ever felt.I’d say, Cisco is spending too much on infrastructure! :)Canteen is so big with separate Veg/Non-veg sections, live kitchen and many other counters. North/South specials are also there. There are even separate microwave ovens available for veg/non-veg people.We had team-outing/lunch every month. That was fun :)Cisco provide very nice cabs/buses for employee pickup/drop. It is not like Tata Indica cabs provided by other companies. There are shuttle service between campuses every hour(or every 30 mins-I forgot) and it’s free. So, you can go from one campus to other comfortably without catching an auto/bus/taxi.There is no time-tracking. No one will ask/monitor at what time you logged in, how much time you worked, what you’ve done each and every hour, at what time you logged out etc.They do have work from home facility. Many companies boast that they have work from home but many will not allow employees to take that and often employees need to explain why they need it and have to plead to get it approved. It is not the case in Cisco. They are actually encouraging employees to take work from home.You can wear any decent dress to office. No need to dress like an executive daily.Cisco has medical facility in their campus that employees can make use of. Also, equipped with very good gym with instructors. You need the medical certificate from the in-house doctor to use this facility.You can bring your kids to office and they even provide playschool kind of setup in the campus itself.They provide sick rooms in case of you want to take rest. A single room can accommodate two people at a time. But it is separated using curtains.Play-area is big and available on every floor. Snooker is rarely seen in any other company.The internet speed that you get in the campus is so good.There are definitely many other pros that I am not aware about/don’t remember now…Apart from this, your life in a company depends upon the project you’re working on and the colleagues’ attitude, that we can’t predict.
