No, there is no age adjustment for FSTs. The FST is preceded by an extensive questionnaire that screens for various health issues that would affect performance on the test. Since courses should be preparing students to take more advanced courses - or even for post-graduate programs, it is difficult for a student to know whether the current course has prepared them adequately or not. They can talk about whether they liked the course, whether they thought they were graded fairly, whether the pace was too fast or too slow for them, and whether the material was accessible - or the instructor was available when help was needed, but it is difficult for them to really rate whether it was an effective in preparing them for subsequent courses - especially since the evaluations are typically done toward the end of a term when they are already somewhat stressed about tests and grades.In general, I’m not fond of everything always being evaluated - not just at the university, but in real life. We are faced with surveys all the time no matter what we do, including just the ease of ordering a cup of coffee! So I suspect unless a student has a strong opinion - either a favorable one or some concerns about a course or the instructor - many of the evaluation responses are not taken real seriously.

High taxes is why the Scandinavian countries ranks highest in many evaluation systems, including happiness index. When health care is free, you get paid to go to University and you are paid from government (for some time) if you loose you job you have significantly fewer concerns in life, thus your answers in questionnaires for happiness index would probably tend to be more positive - and most likely you are actually also more happy (in average).High taxes is a good thing (especially in societies without corruption), not a bad thing. But of course most politicians don't want to say that - one of the many problems of populism in the political arena - maybe we could be a bit more objective in Quora !
