What is your experience of traveling to Bhutan for the first time in recent times?

I visited Bhutan in Jan 2019!!It’s indeed an amazing experience to visit your neighbor country which just looks like size of a state in India with around 8 Lakhs of population and 80% of the land is forest, such amazing thing to hear and experience. Country where success is measured in terms of happiness. This itself brings smile on every face. Also, the country has no thieves and theft free. Being the last kingdom of Himalayas, it throws immensely beautiful landscapes to your eyes, a great visual treat not to be missed in life, so visiting Bhutan is worth and bliss :)So let me tell my complete experience of my Bhutan visit. After thoroughly checking out the packages offered from different travel agencies , we confirmed to take it from Travel triangle. Travel triangle is decent and safe. They are easily approachable and facilities are good. Accommodation is covered in the package. It was a hassle free trip. So, you can choose them (Thrillophilia is good too)I traveled with my friend who came to Bagdogra from Pune. From Bagdogra we started our journey together and reached Pheuntshilong( border for India and Bhutan) by evening and as soon as you enter here you will notice that there is a huge difference in fuel price. We went to a local shop there and ate momos, it was lip smacking and till today I haven’t forgot the taste, i would suggest all my friends to taste momos from that shop, specially the chutney and we did ask for the recipe from the shopkeeper ;) , he was happy to share, not to forget, he is an Indian.Bhutanese are strict about the traffic rules. Will share an example below ( this was a funny but yet shows how strict they are about their road rules, as we were walking down the street, we did not notice anything and just started crossing the road, the cop stopped us, reminded us we were in Bhutan and he made walk back to our starting point and instructed us to cross the road only where there is zebra crossing marked. Amazing right? that’s how we should follow the rules. )So, the next day morning we started our journey in car, now the local guide was a Bhutanese and he knew Hindi, we could easily manage everything, he was very friendly. we were heading to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, journey was filled with enchanting views through the valley, as everyone knows it’s because of Magical Himalayas. You can see the streams flowing through the valley, mountains rugged by thick forest and frozen waterfalls as it was in the Jan, still the winter season. you can experience snowfall in the early Jan is what we heard from the locals. we also came across many Buddhist monasteries. We need not worry about the food there because we get many Indian restaurants and they eat rice and we are all used to chowmein. Datchi is authentic Bhutanese dish which you should try, it tastes good.We landed in Thimphu, visited the local street market, Buddha dordenma(must visit), make sure you carry enough winter wear because its too chilling ( temperature reaches -4, -6) , also make sure there is a heater in your accommodation, Buddha Dordenma is at the very top, you can actually see the gigantic idol from anywhere in Thimphu, once you go to the spot , you can see the whole Thimphu city. It’s a gorgeous view.Next day we started our journey to Paro, where the magnificent Tiger’s Nest Monastery is perched in the lap of mighty Himalayas. We visited the local Paro market, saw the Paro International airport, and we reached the point to start trekking. Trekking here ain’t easy at all. it’s a very rough terrain and the way is topsy-turvy. Pain after hiking will stay in your body for atleast 3 days easily! But its damn worth because every step you take gives extremely beautiful scenes to capture in your eyes for life. (P.S. we took help of pony to reach 1–2 kms uphill). This trek is amazing and place is more amazing, its 10k+ feet above. you will experience the calm and serenity in the monastery. A beautiful waterfall beside monastery was frozen when we went.We stayed in Paro for that night, morning we visited 1 more monastery in the city, their very well maintained National Museum which had real cool stuffs to take a look at and we started our journey back and then headed Paro river where we got Bhutanese National dress to wear and pose.Back to Pheunshilong that evening, took good amount of rest and we didn’t forget to visit the momos shop again :P .Next day, we traveled to Bagdogra and took flight back to Bengaluru and my friend to Pune with so much of mesmerizing memories to cherish :) . Happy soul after the vacation!!Attaching few of my favorite pics from the trip. Have a look. Hope this answer helps you. I suggest you to go for 8 days so that you cover few more places.

Question: What is it like to live in Kerala?I will tell you the story of rural Kerala. The story which is very close to my heart and not all malayalees get to live this. How does it feel to have a house like this in the middle of paddy fields?Or just in the middle of coconut palms. (Kozhikode)We have extended monsoon and it keeps raining for almost half of the year. The water just blends perfectly with nature and our pathways.Rainy mornings I wake upto this at a corner of my front yard. That is jasmine flower. These are our local cricket grounds. (At Ottappalam, Palakkad with a background of river nila/bharathappuzha )We take nature baths and they are absolutely free. (Kadambanadu, Pathanamthitta)There is a pond almost everywhere. Sometimes it belong to the temple or else even houses own them. (Sreekrishnapuram, Palakkad)Our canals are picturesque as well. Why are you a fan of a football club?

The club I support we believe that football is not just a game, our club is not just a football club, it's a way of life..We belive that you must walk on through the wind, walk on through the rain, for your dreams be tossed and blownWalk on, walk onWith hope in your heartAnd you'll never walk aloneYou'll never walk alone..Yup you already know which club I am talking about, when 54074 kopites find there voice on a cold rainy European night at anfield, you feel like there is literally no better sight in this whole world than that. Here are the reasons I love my club Liverpool fc so much and why no matter what even if we are relegated I will still always support and love my boyhood club.THE BOY WHO LIVED HIS DREAM.We haven't had much success recently but I have been a supporter since I can't remember as when I was growing up as a teenager of around 10, I really loved watching football at the weekends the Henry's, the niestelrooy’s, but there was this one guy who won my heart above them all because that is what he did, he was a person who stole people's heart and at a very young age he stole mine…He could play at any position his team wanted him to play, he could score from anywhere he wanted, he could tackle harder than a running train but what impressed me most was his leadership..He was a LEADER OF MEN, for me there was no miracle of Istanbul, it was just one man single handedly outwilling the greatest team ever assembled of AC MilanAnd there was this one quality, I learned from him that's the very essence of our lives, He taught me that NO MATTER WHAT ALWAYS STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN AND NEVER EVER GIVE UP ON THOSE WHOM YOU LOVE.He could have walked into any team be it real madrid or Barcelona or Chelsea or Manchester United for that matter(Yup you know it don't deny it united fans) in his prime, but he never left us, on the brink of administration and bankruptcy he could have left us like most weaker man would, In a world in which I thought everything could be bought with money, he taught me THERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU CAN NEVER BUY.He never won the premier league the Holy grail, on his date with destiny HE SLIPPED, that day he taught me that LIFE IS NOT FAIR, I cried myself to sleep that nightso I regard him as the one who lived his dreams, none other than CAPTAIN STEVIE G2. EUROPEAN NIGHTSThe name anfield is almost synonymous with famous European nights. From the ghost goal and making mourinho cry like a baby(FYI he's still crying) to ripping Madrid apart we have seen it all.The spirit of these nights was most recently captured in the wins against Manchester United and Dortmund in the Europa League. Gerrard's spectacular strike against Olympiakos is still fresh in my mind and we as Liverpool fans always get goosebumps when we remember the magical nights at Anfield3. GLORIOUS HISTORYWe Liverpool fans are often ridiculed for being history professors but the fact that even after not winning the premier league for 28 years we still remain one of the most successful clubs across Europe speaks volumes of our gloriously decorated historyWE WON IT 5 TIMES IN ISTANBUL4. PLAYING FOOTBALL ‘THE LIVERPOOL WAY”Over the years from 1970s and 80s to present day we are always associated with a style of football that hasn't changed through the different mangers who walked through the Shankly gates, Bill Shankly’s football theories still run deep within the roots of anfield and we have always played his way, a style of football with which the hard working men of the British factories could sit and enjoy at weekend that was free flowing and fluent “the pass and move”, we still play that way and will always continue to play that way.WE ARE A PEOPLE'S CLUB.5. GREAT STRIKERSFrom King Kenny to Rush to Fowler to Owen to Torres to Suarez, we have been home to some of the greatest strikers the game of football has ever seen.6. IT IS ALWAYS AN AWESOME ROLLER COASTER RIDEWith Liverpool one thing has always been constant, supporting Liverpool is injurious to health. Why I say this is because they can elate you to a stage of total euphoria and bring you down on your knees struggling for breath the very next week, you only have to look at the previous season to know that from a team that didn't look like top 4 contenders to leading the premier league to collapse and make it to the top 4 on the final day of the season WOOF!!7. JURGEN KLOPPAfter a disappointing start to the season of 2015/16, Brendan Rodgers was sacked as the manager of Liverpool football club, few days later when I was sleeping, at around 3 am in the middle of the night one of my united football buddy called me that Liverpool have signed klopp, I cannot quite describe how happy I was, the manager who embodies the club more than anyone whom I thought was out of our league had arrived and our journey to “OUR PERCH” has begun. There are many more countless reasons, deep reasons why I love Liverpool FC so much and last but not the leastI am Damn proud to be a Liverpool Fan.YNWA!
