Camp Signage: Fill & Download for Free

Basically NO as this comes under the control of the Shire Councils and as they usually own the local Caravan Park they will prohibit free camping within the shire boundaries so as to make money from the Caravan Park in town. This practice is common in Western Australia which despite having huge areas of remote land it still has more “No Free Camping” signage than any other state. Sometimes penalties apply according to the signage anyway.Some people are not fussy about where they camp and will often camp rather close to the traffic or just a few meters from the highway. Sure this is illegal but they don’t seem to care about their personal safety which to me is extremely important.Your best option is to purchase one of the “Camp Guides” magazines or apps for your phone which will list where all campsites are and include the basic description and cost or indeed if they are free.In my travels around Australia I have not found many free campsites until you get into really remote locations however others will claim that they are able to “Free Camp” in many locations that I was unaware of at the time. Maybe they spent more time doing research on the subject than what I did.

I had once read a signage in Devlali Camp in Nashik, where I used to be going for my annual training camp when I was in TA. The signage read - If you get lost in a mall finding for directions, if you miss taking side exits on well maintained fancy roads, if you seem to be totally dumb in an environment full of luxury access like movie halls and shopping malls; BUT then if you manage your way through a simple compass in a jungle, or if you feel comfortable in the discomfort of a lonely and a dark night, THEN MY BOY, You are in the Army!My context of raising the above point was simple - The Indian Army doesn’t recruit candidates to just make them officers from cadets, they chisel them. Even if you are an IITian or an NITian, even if you are an MBA from IIM there’s no guarantee that you are going to clear the Army interviews. They don’t look for highly intelligent/brilliant people for sure because having said that you should know how brilliant was India’s ex President Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. And you will be surprised to know even he couldn’t clear the Army exams.Army is just looking for the true YOU. They don’t want you to be brilliant, they just want you to be aware of your inner self and your surroundings and they just want you to possess few good leadership qualities and liveliness which count under OLQs. I was very fortunate enough to clear my Army SSBs in my 2nd attempt in Territorial Army, where I have even seen candidates from renowned tech companies working in Google, Facebook, L&T or having background of IIT/IIM have still failed multiple times and have finally given up on joining the Army.Hope I could answer your question.Regards,Mukund.
