Is there some serious problem with Islam?

A whooping undeniable YES !There is a huge problem with Islam. It is nothing but a 4th century propaganda meant to regulate a “nomadic” population. From the views of a leader who ruled a group whose prime survival means was plundering and whose ideas of home was a temporary tent camp in deserts, Islamic rules seem justified. You simply cannot apply it to a settled civilization.I am not against someone reading the quran or any random book in their house, but trying to force that kind of propaganda down your neighbors throat is asking for trouble.I am going to site of few examples, of Islamic unrest world wide.Examples of Islamic terrorAustralia : Holsworthy Barracks terror plot, 2014 Endeavour Hills stabbingsArgentina : AMIA bombingBelgium : 2016 Brussels bombingsUnited states of America : 2001 September 11. Is BlaBlaCar’s position in Europe sturdy? How is it being impacted by the growth of Uber and ridesharing services?

Short answers:1) The growth for BlaBlaCar in Europe overall is good and sturdy. But the performance varies per countries, some countries are doing really good, while others are actually slow in growth.2) According to Uber's current strategy, whatever they do in Europe will have very limited impact on BlaBlaCar.Growth for BlaBlaCar in EuropeIf you use Internet Archive [1] and take a look at their numbers 6 months to 1 year ago, you will see many interesting numbers. For sharing economy company like BlaBlaCar, I think there are several metrics are important.Number of total vehicles: This basically represents the supply. It is similar to available rooms for Airbnb.Number of Reviews: This is a proxy to the transactions. Unfortunately this number is not available directly on their webpage. I tried to use the total reviews count on the first page instead. Obviously there could be a lot of noise in this approach, so have to interpret it carefully.Number of most experienced (Ambassador) drivers: This is actually a better proxy to their transaction compares to total reviews on the first page. First of all, it is an accurate aggregate count. Secondly, because you have to take good reviews and do considerable amount of trips to become an ambassador, if this number is up, it is a pretty good indicator the quality / sustainable transaction is up.So here comes the results.TL;DR:From the countries I sampled, BlaBlaCar's growth isreally well in France, Spain, Holland and Germany.reasonably well in Italy.slow to flat in England, Russia, Ukraine and Czech Republic.Portugal seems to have some serious recession. BlaBlaCar and Uber are almost mutually exclusive in the Europe market, I can only see partnership but not competition.Lyft was doing exactly inter-city share riding and switched to inner-city oneLyft's first product is called Zimride, which is doing exactly what BlaBlaCar doing for inter-city share riding in the US. They mainly focus on students to commute between universities.Below is what Zimride looked like in 2011 (very similar, huh?)In July, 2013, Lyft sold Zimride to Enterprise and started competing head to head with Uber. This basically tells us inner-city share riding has much bigger financial potential than inter-city business, at least in the US.Inter-city share riding is a different product than inner-city oneServing different driver segmentsFor inter-city trips, most of the time drivers need to go the destination anyway, they take rides mainly to save costs. and it is not common for them to do multiple trips in a day even if they want to (due to lack of demand and high coordination cost). In inter-city scenarios, there is not too much difference between Taxi drivers and Uber drivers. They take rides mainly to make profits. Also BlaBlaCar drivers are the ones who decide their price (with guidances / caps from BlaBlaCar[4]), while Uber dictates the price. In this regard, BlaBlaCar is more like Airbnb.Below is what their cofounder Nicolas Brusson said in the interview. [5]Nicolas Brusson: To me the essence of ridesharing is people actually truly sharing a ride from point A to point B. When you take an Uber or Lyft today -- I'm going to the airport to fly. My driver isn't going to the airport to fly. He's going to the airport to drive me to the airport. We put people going to the same place in one car so they travel together. One key difference is Uber and Lyft are the same, city to city -- we don't do that. We don't do trips from London to London. We do London-Manchester, Paris-Brussels. We do Munich to Berlin. Uber is great for intercity traffic. But without Uberpool, they don't take a car off the road. They take a passenger off the wheel maybe. Job creation for Uber, I buy it. But in terms of getting cars off the road, it's less obvious than what we do.It makes less for an inter-city share riding driver than taxi driversFor example, according to [2], the average cost is 71€ to include toll, tax and consumption from London to Paris. Most people charge less than 40 Euro per seat, so by selling 3 seats they got at most 120 Euro. So the maximum earning is 50€. But pretty much that's your entire income for that day.An average taxi driver in UK makes 18000€ a year, according to [3], they work 253 days per year, it yields 71€ per day.So it doesn't make economic sense to make it a full time job. I think it applies to most of the inter-city routes.Their cofounder also said this in an interview[4] -"We cap the maximum price on all journeys, so the driver doesn't exceed the cost of gas or wear-and-tear expenses of the vehicle. As a result, the driver does not make a profit on any journey," Nicolas Brusson, co-founder and COO of BlaBlaCar said in a statement.Uber has a long list of inner-city share riding competitors in many countriesAccording to [6], just take a look at the Uber's global competitors above, to see how many head to head competitors it has right now.Below a list a few competent ones in Europe.GetTaxi (a.k.a. Gett major player in UK)Hailo (major player in Spain)MyTaxi (major player in Germany and Spain)Yandex.Taxi (major in Russia, yeah, that search engine guy)Uber also makes it very clear it doesn't do long distance [7] and I heard their max time cap is 4 hours, after 4 hours you have to re-request rides. This basically excludes the inter-city possibility.BlaBlaCar also said they are not interested in city-to-city rides. One key difference is Uber and Lyft are the same, city to city -- we don't do that. They are really mutually exclusive. Both are great services and benefits our enviroment, let's hope they are both doing great!References:[1] Internet Archive Wayback Machine[2] London to Paris route planner[3] Working days in year 2015 in the UK and Ireland[4] What Does French Ride-Sharing Company BlaBlaCar Have That Uber Doesn't?[5] BlaBlaCar: When Will Real Ridesharing Come To The US?[6] Uber Wants To Conquer The World, But These Companies Are Fighting Back (Map)[7] How Far Can An Uber Trip Be?
