:D Haha….Minimum!Salary!In India!Do you know any high earning labour ? How much he could be earning in a month ?Try to guess!Are you done?Yes, Exactly 8k-10k bucks(INR;₹) a month.Now jokes apart. Yes my friend this is true. Reason to this is that Indian market is full of engineers and high salaries are only paid to government employees, PSU’s employee, and branded companies.While all other small private civil construction companies pay less. Not less, very less because they know you want the job any how. You are the one who can get ready to be grinded in a grinder.But…!Never underestimate that 10,000 bucks that is earned by an Civil Engineer because his salary will be suddenly increased to 20,000 bucks within 1 year by the company itself depending upon your experience. Then in the another 2 or 3 years you will be promoted with increased salary.And new (employee) will be hired on your place and the employee working above you will switch the company for higher package with experience letter.Now, if you gotGovernment job: Minimum salary would be ₹ 20,000 - 40,000 depending upon your department and post. Like PWD, CPWD, NHAI etc.PSU job: Minimum salary ranges from ₹30,000–100,000 depending upon the type of company and your scores in GATE. PSU’s like IOCL, HAL, GAIL, BHEL etc.Branded Private Companies: Minimum salary ranges from ₹20,000 - 50,000. Truly speaking, I did my research before joining this branch and many suggested to not to go for it. But still not taking up what people said, I opted for it and went for the kill.After I joined in I found that this branch is a bit tough to go through, unlike CS & IT. So had to study a lot to understand the fundas. This did annoyed me though but I stuck to decision without looking for the other losses I had incurred. Also an important part of this was that there were not too many opposite gender in my branch. So their was no point of having cool kids in the branch. You can just wake up and go to you class wearing anything. In the Labs I always got dirty as it was always soil or such things, with which you were supposed to play with. In my final year when the campus placements started, The CS & IT people got placed in few weeks, all going to same company and were supposed to start at same place. They were so happy about it. But for us companies came and hired in bits. So no chance that you will be near to your friends. And finally when we joined, I thought the scenario will change as I will be getting higher pay and more facilities, but when I saw the working hours all that happiness just vanished. I was working 13 hours a day and was not getting sufficient holidays in a year to do everything. Finally I had realised that I had taken up something really challenging which I had not expected. And today I got every basic things a guy wants like money, electronics, machine, etc but time. So my hunt for further simple and less challenging is on.
