Would adding a counterweight to a bra ease back strain on buxom women?

I'm a guy, but I've had PT for neck & upper back problems after MVA. How do you plan to support these counterweights? If they are supported by straps that traverse the area between the neck & shoulder, as most bra straps do, that would put a lot of pressure on the trapezious muscle, which could react by tightening up & causing problems/pain all along the C-spine.I question whether doubling the weight the spine has to bear will help. I do think that PT could be very helpful. What they usually do is strengthen muscle groups to compensate for damaged or weakened structures. In this case, with greater weight on the ventral side, strengthening the dorsal muscles that align the spine would help. There are a lot of resistance exercises using elastic bands or weights that they could teach.also, a lot of people walk with a"head forward"posture where the head is habitually positioned forward of instead of over the spine/neck. As the head is heavy, something like 10 lbs, this adds to a significant strain on the neck & back. Doing exercises to place the head more over the spine would help.Any support garment should apply forward pressure in the center of the upper back while at the same time pulling back on the shoulders. I don't think weights would be indicated.I would ask a PT or orthopedic specialist for input in the bra's design.

I am 25 male. Why do I get boils on my back side? What could be the reason?

Cut your nails (2 x 2 x 5 = 20 nails), clean & wash the hands with soap with vigorous rubbing - not like the film stars in ads but like the manual laborers. Boil garments, bed cover, pillow cover, whatever with water & soda. Use cotton garments. Buy pile of small hand towels. A container to throw the towels and boil them to wash before second usage. You'll not use those old big towels.Clean nose, ear with dry Johnson & Johnson buds. Wipe in one swipe & use the unused side to wipe in another one swipe, then throw inside a bag -> outside house. Clean whole bathroom, bathroom stages, toilet with disinfectants. Better to use a professional service. Do not that thorough cleaning once a week.Go to a good pharma shop & tell the Pharmacist that, Orthopedic Surgeon asked to give Chlorhexidine Gluconate Scrub, sponge for my bath. Give me the good one they use. Plus buy Betadine Lotion. Use with sponge with warm water. Ask your mother. Do not rub over the boils. Obviously use shower gel too. Pat dry. Apply that Betadine on the boils. Do it once a day x 1 -2 weeks.Only use gels not soap bars.If still does not go after passing a practical time, visit a good general physician. From simple anemia, malnutrition, infection carrier in closer peoples to diabetes mellitus many things can be behind.

How do I get rid of arm lymphedema?

As Mr. Douglas McNeill wrote, this is an unfortunate condition. Last February after a complex spine surgery (fusion L3-L4-L5-S1) I felt a big inflammation in my left foot. Inflammation was more or less controlled by night by raising the lower part of my electric bed, but during the day the inflammation reproduced and even it was increasing day after day. My doctor said: this is a lymph edema, use a compression stocking and soon it will disappear (!).I bought a good pair of low pressure stockings, but the result was a disaster. My edema was worsening. After a great deal of research - most of doctors do not know how to cope with this problem - I found a lady practitioner who knew everything about how to treat - no to solve - this story. Some intensive sessions of Manual Lymphatic Drainage combined with complex multilayer bandages which I wear 23 hours a day (I rested one hour) put my foot in an apparent normal condition. See image:Then the practitioner prescribed a specific high compression flat fabric stocking which was made in Germany by Mediven ( Compression garments from medi for the treatment of oedema ) . The measurements in my leg for the order were performed by a very good Orthopedic workshop that was familiar with the problem. Now I wear this compression stocking some 12 hours a day. After some rest my wife puts me a multilayer bandage which I wear during the full night. See image of the stocking:The practitioner says this type of treatment is for life, but soon I could wear a more normal pressure stocking and from time to time I could avoid the night bandage. Let's see how my problem progress. A similar approach is used if the edema appears in one arm instead of in one foot.To extend your knowledge in this tricky subject I recommend buying this book:In addition I do suggest you going to see this page: Lymphoedema Support Network - HomeYou will find there good information and the possibility of ordering a DVD related with your problem: arm or leg.Update - One year after.Fortunately my lympho edema has reached a stable state and now I am accustomed to live with it. During the day (some 13 hours) I wear a lighter medium pressure (CCL2) elastic stocking by Mediven. In the night a moderate elevation of the bottom of my electric bed allows avoiding the swelling in my leg. For anyone suffering this problem, after the experience I have lived I recommend strongly him/her to identify a doctor or a practitioner being very specialised in treating this problem.
