How did you study the periodic table (periodicity of properties) for the NEET?

Whole Inorganic Chemistry concepts are dependent on the following basic chapters🙇🏻‍♂️🧪⚗️ :-#1 Periodic Table.#2 Chemical Bonding.#3 Coordination Compounds.I'll be discussing the #1 Periodic table in detail here and the remaining in my upcoming answers. We have to understand the following SUBTOPICS to master Periodic table (My notes given below for your convenience) :-Questions related to Contribution of different scientists👨🏻‍🔬🔬- to arrange elements in a proper way ultimately leading to the Mosley's Modern Periodic Table that we know today.Solving basic questions related to Mendlev's Periodic Table and it's correlation with Modern Periodic Table (Eg. 3B in Mendlev's Periodic Table is which Group in modern periodic table?)Understanding Electronic configuration, Atomic number and it's application :-Finding the Group and the Period of the elements on the basis of it's electronic configuration or it's atomic number.Determining general electronic configuration of different blocks (s,p,d,f) (I've mentioned in the notes below - Page 1, Right Side)General characters which you'll have to remember. (Eg. 58–71 are Lanthanide so they'll be in 6th period, 3B group and f-block easy)Its roots goes back to Physical Chemistry's chapter Atomic Structure. That'll help you a lot here.Start with the basic trendsCome to the individual details now - Comparison of Ionisation enthalpy or Electron gain enthalpy, Electronegativity etc. in between neighbouring groups and start dealing with element specific questions. Then understanding Relation between IP and EA (Page 2, Above Electronegativity topic)Deriving Effects of Electronegativity difference (∆EN Pauling Scale) on different properties like % ionic character or radius in a covalant bond etc.Extra edge - Understanding different EN scales and their Basis. (5minutes topic)All of the Above things are conceptual and Please give your time Understanding these topics. It'll make your work easy. Don't go after memorizing trends. You can derive concepts and understand them.Below are my complete short notes for Periodic Table. What is the weirdest element of the periodic table?

Just about any element has its craziness. Sulfur would appear not to belong to the crazy club. However, in the chemistry of it, I think it just might make it.Consider that water is H2O. It’s necessary for life. It doesn’t smell. It’s a liquid.Just below oxygen in the Periodic Table is sulfur. It should have similar properties. If it doesn’t, it must be crazy — no?Hydrogen sulfide, H2S is not a liquid, but a gas, even though its molecular mass is much greater than water. That’s a little crazy. It has an absolutely awful smell, the smell of rotten eggs. That’s horribly crazy. However, the worst of all is that it is a deadly poison, more deadly than hydrogen cyanide. Now, that’s truly crazy when compared to water.Oxygen doesn’t catch fire, although it is an oxidizer that can react with fuel to make fires. Sulfur readily catches on fire and makes messy sulfur oxides that turn into strong acids when combined with water. Do not breathe burning sulfur fumes. In its usual, yellow form, sulfur looks innocuous and is not at all poisonous. In fact, it is an element that is essential to life. Three of the essential amino acids contain sulfur. The formula for the element in this form is S8. How many elements have 8 atoms in their elemental molecules? Oxygen has just two, after all.More bizarre is the fact that melting sulfur and cooling quickly by, for example, pouring it into water, creates a plastic material. It’s a polymer. Go find an element that’s a polymer in its elemental form. Sure, carbon looks like a candidate until you realize that diamond and graphite are not chains but 3D and 2D structures. In fact, sulfur forms more allotropes than any other element.A fun fact is that sulfur reacts with iron to form iron sulfide, aka pyrite, aka fool’s gold. There is much, much more to learn about sulfur and its chemistry. However, just the above should qualify it as a crazy element, an element that does not behave in a rational fashion.

Is the Periodic table complete now?

The Periodic Table of Elements is currently incomplete. However, there is said to be an upper limit. Albert Khazan has written a lot about the Periodic Table of Elements, and notes that the fine structure constant, alpha, seems to impose a limit on how many protons an atom can safely carry before disintegrating. Alpha is very close to 1/137, and when the proton count of an atom approaches the value of 155, binding energy no longer works and cannot hold the nucleus together anymore. It is possible we will eventually get up to 155 elements on the Periodic Table, before hitting the quantum mechanical limits for atomic nuclei. Khazan has demonstrated that a hyperbolic law holds for atomic mass and binding energy, eventually reaching the asymptotic limit at 155 protons. This is a copy of Khazan's article detailing the upper limit to the Periodic Table of Elements, and how he established it: Page on ptep-online.comAnother of his articles is here: Upper limit of the periodic table and synthesis of superheavy elements. One of his early articles, in 2007: http://tmtfree.hd.free.fr/albums/files/TMTisFree/Documents/Physics/PP-01-2007.pdf#page=39There are also some articles related to the upper limit of the Periodic Table on Researchgate.
