What is the most searched topic on the Internet in 2017?

If you exclude “adult oriented” topics, the MOST searched topic was:TRANSLATEAnd people throughout the world were searching many other permutations as well including:Traduire (french)traducir (spanish)Übersetzen (german)tradurre (italian)traduzir (portuguese)翻译 (chinese)번역업을하다 (korean)and the many other permutations of the term. The topics after that include:and if you’re curious beyond that, check out our study we did this past year: 2017’s Top Google Searches: Most Searched Keywords on the Internet v5 | Seattle Organic SEOEarlier though, if you do not exclude any specific topics, you’ll see that the adult oriented topics are quite popular:We elucidate this in our 2014 version of the study: Top 10 Most Searched Topics on Google | Seattle Organic SEOBefore that, we broke things down in 2012: Top Google Searches in 2012: The Most Popular Keywords Study v3 | Seattle Organic SEOAnd the original that started this all: Most Popular Searches: What do people want (online)? | Seattle Organic SEOUpdate: 3/22/2018I read the answer that shows up at top and just to clarify, but these are NOT the “What is the most searched topic on the Internet in 2017?” These are just topics that “trended” in 2017.The most searched topics on google #2017Searches1) Hurricane Irma2) iPhone 83) iPhone X4) Matt Lauer5) Meghan Markle6) 13 Reasons Why7) Tom Petty8) Fidget Spinner9) Chester Bennington10) India National Cricket TeamPeople1) Matt Lauer2) Meghan Markle3) Nadia Toffa4) Harvey Weinstein5) Kevin Spacey6) Gal Gadot7) Melania Trump8) Floyd Mayweather9) Michael Flynn10) Philippe CoutinhoConsumer Tech1) iPhone 82) iPhone X3) Nintendo Switch4) Samsung Galaxy S85) Xbox One X6) Nokia 33107) Razer Phone8) Oppo F59) OnePlus 510) Nokia 6Movies1) IT2) Wonder Woman3) Beauty and the Beast4) Logan5) Justice League6) The Fate of the Furious7) Baahubali 2: The Conclusion8) Dunkirk9) La La Land10) Thor: RagnorokFor example, if you take the list the poster provided as the “top searches,” you’ll see the volume is MUCH lower:Searches1) Hurricane Irma - 7,480,000/mo2) iPhone 8 - 16,600,000/mo3) iPhone X - 13,600,000/mo4) Matt Lauer - 2,240,000mo5) Meghan Markle - 5,000,000/mo6) 13 Reasons Why - 6,120,000/mo7) Tom Petty - 3,350,000/mo8) Fidget Spinner - 11,100,000/mo9) Chester Bennington - 3,350,000/mo10) India National Cricket Team - 13,600,000/moEven if you examine the specific spikes in traffic, it doesn’t put it anywhere close to “translate.”For example, iPhone 8 peaked at 55,600,000/mo in September of 2017.The argument could be made too that in that same month, the aggregate of terms that were “related” to the “iPhone 8” generated 126.2 million/mo.But again, “translate” by itself generated 277 million searches/month. The aggregate of its related terms generated 591+ million searches/month.So, again, to answer the question, it was “translate” (and its related terms) :)

What phone do you use right now?

A Nokia 3310, seriously!Sorry for the quality but my camera doesn’t have auto-focus, it’s just a bit younger than my phone.I use this mobile phone since 2012 (4 years) and I’m quite happy with it. And yes, it’s my only one.Why I like it:Simplicity - it has exactly what I need - calls, texts, alarm clock and a stopwatch.Speed - it’s not like quad-core fast, but fast to use, which matters more to me. You don’t have to mess with any swiping nor too many clicks.A conversation starter - sometimes it helps me to start or to maintain a conversation - Who does not get excited about their childhood memory? Nokia’s slogan: “Connecting people” has never been more true.No internet - i.e. no distraction, at least not because of my phone :) But if I’d actually need it, I usually carry with me my laptop (a small Lenovo X230) with a SIM card slot, so in case of emergency, I could stick there my SIM card and surf, but I’ve needed it only very few times during the past year.It fits well my ear - huge smartphones either don’t actually touch my earhole or hurt my outer ear with their upper edge.Swag - seeing the reaction of some people is just priceless :DOther small perks - the battery is really easily accessible, so I have a razor blade hidden underneath - you never know when you need it. It also can be charged via USB, since I have a cable for this - it came once with a cheap universal charger, but I can’t find a similar one again, not that I’m trying that hard.I previously had a smart phone (Nokia Express Music 5530) and it wasn’t bad, but when I got this one from my friend, I just knew it’s my dream phone.I’ve even used an Android 5.1 phone for a brief period, but I didn’t really like it - its user interface was a mess compared to my good old 3310, so as soon as I could, when I no longer needed a dual SIM, I switched back.I hope that I’m not the only one and I encourage everybody to consider using one - it’s really worth it, even 17 years after its release :)
