I believe in the basic policies of liberalism without much of the divisive, angry and transient points being offered by the American left today. The things I like:No social pressure on people to conform to an archaic norm that is no longer relevant to the environment in which we live. Those norms in the past (mom at home, dad at work, heterosexuals only, religious conformity) were all aspects of a very different world with very different pressures.Today, I want and demand a society where women don’t face social pressures just because they like sex, a world where a kid can be trans without anybody batting an eye, where two dudes can share an expressive, romantic kiss in any small-town USA without much fanfare.Love, tolerance and acceptance of people vastly different than myself, not just in race, religion, ethnicity, sex, etc. But also I’m tolerant and accepting of those who think different than me. I not only am that, but I seek out those who are different than me so that I can understand them before I may have to oppose them.I believe in “the light of day” sanitation of bad ideas model. I don’t believe in banning speech or writing except under the most narrow of circumstances. I want to engage people who are different than me and this applies even more to highly extreme and oppressive ideas that make others run in fear.If there isn’t a very real, measurable, empirical evidence that a voluntary activity [amongst consenting, competent-minded adults] is going to cause significant societal problems, then there should be no criminal laws and few regulations about those actions.Fully legalized, licensed, regulated and taxed: prostitution, several recreational drugs (Psilocybin Mushrooms, Cannabis, MDMA (“ecstasy”)), voluntary self-termination (but with very strict controls so that people who are going through a rough spot and depressed don’t end up offing themselves before getting help).Decriminalized: personal drug usage of any kind. I see no reason to be arresting people for buying and using drugs. It’s a pointless exercise and has zero impact on personal usage.Reproductive Rights for women, including abortion access, at a minimum of the first 18 weeks of pregnancy, anytime thereafter until the fetus is viable if the life of the mother is at stake. (A thing without formed synaptic connections and no possibility isn’t a person [note: “human” and “homo sapiens” are irrelevant terms here — your vegetative, stroked-out, brain dead grandpa being kept alive on a machine is a human and a homo sapiens but not a person] and I don’t believe in predestination or future rights for non persons because one day, the lump of cells will become one.) Beyond that, different polities will adjust that access based on their local norms. 18 weeks is the normal maximum across the industrialized/liberal world.Universal healthcare access (body and mind).Limited but universal, post-secondary education for free, up to two years (associates degree, trade schools). Beyond that, the support falls depending on if the trade is in demand, if the school is public and if the student keeps grades up (with tiered support based on grades). That basically means: make community colleges a part of public education. (Restructure community colleges as “Grades 13 and 14” — give kids a choice in what to study, be it a trade or their education requirements to get a bachelors.)Tight bubble of immunity around people that prevent BOTH government and corporations from intruding into their lives. Conservatives are great about the government one, but not so much about the corporate one (but are starting to wake up recently given that there are liberal companies who they are worried are stepping on individual rights — would that they thought this way 10 years ago before these issues exploded). I don’t believe in any kind of debt/record for medical bills. I believe in INCREDIBLY strong technology controls on individual lives along with strong consumer protections.Strong environmental protections.A welcoming and open migration policy (that occupies two silos: one for highly educated people here — which allows them to stay as long as they like as long as they have a job; second silo would be for manual workers and cross border temporary laborers who can earn points on a green card for hard work and good behavior while here). The US should have open borders … for those who have legal jobs. If you don’t, then no.No religion in public schools masquerading as science (“intelligent design”) which is unscientific and just a mask for teaching the existence of a deity. Evolution is real, it happened and it should be taught in schools. What kids do with it is up to them.A reasonably strong safety net for people who are unable to care for themselves (the sick, the elderly, children).

It’s a negotiation between parent and child. We gave our children the certified birth certificates we received when they were born. We did request and pay for a couple of certified copies of their birth certificates from the jurisdiction in which they were born, just in case they lost their originals. My mother gave me and all my siblings our birth certificates, along with social security cards, immunization records, report cards, diplomas and other stuff.

However, if you have got an Aadhaar card before 15 years of age then you are required to get your photo and bio metrics recorded again after turning 15. Make sure you carry the originals too to the enrollment center.If the age of applicant is less than 5 years, no bio metrics will be recorded, only photograph will serve the purpose.In such cases, child's Aadhaar will be linked to the UID of his parents. These children will need to update their bio metrics of ten fingers, iris and facial photograph, when they turn 5 and 15.In the case Baal Aadhaar, it cannot be made without the parent having an Aadhaar first.However, for admission in an educational institution on attaining 5 years and above, a parent's Aadhaar or a Certificate of Identity with photo issued by Gazetted Officer/Tehsildar on letter head can be accepted as identity proof. However, birth certificate of child is mandatory in all cases. For address proof, certificate of Address with photo issued by MP or MLA /Gazetted Officer/Tehsildar on letter head or by Village Panchayat head or its equivalent authority (for rural areas) is also treated as valid documents.
