For ACCA PER, all they want is to know about your actual experience in Audit and Finance. So if you have the real experience, then it will not be difficult for you to answer the questions. They do require real life examples from your side, so with the real experience, it won’t be difficult to complete the PER module.And as for the second part of your question - I doubt that ACCA will reject any supervisor approved PER, as long as your Supervisor is a registered professional under a legal accounting body of your country. But if any such PER has been rejected, I really have no idea about it.

Organizing in this context means you have to decide which papers are you going to attempt this session. On the exam day you will have your biggest organisational challenge. Time constraint glorified with a need to organize and structure your answers. (You can't pass Professional level papers without this)Time Management: Every exam puts you under pressure on this. However, its 10 fold during an ACCA exams. Professional papers are designed in a way that if you answer everything well, you won’t be able to complete the paper. You will have to balance at being effective and efficient.The above three are crucial skills in order to pass your exams. These skills can be worked upon. When you get overwhelmed by lots of work, you must follow risk-management principles and delegation.Let me explain this with an example.I was posted at Air Cargo Complex, Ahmedabad (ACCA) during 2000-2002 as a Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Customs. This used to be the only International Airport in Gujarat and hence all valuable items used to be imported and exported from there.There used to be around 100 import and export consignment per day at ACCA and the documentation was still manual. I was the only DC. I had to examine each document carefully as I was the final approval authority in all cases. If any loss of revenue takes place, I would be held responsible.In the beginning, I used to stay quite late in the office to clear all the files and ensure that there is no delay. However, the work was too much and I started feeling the burden of it.Hence, I soon made some principles for managing the risk and that helped me complete all my work comfortably within the office hours. The examples of some of the rules I made are as following.There were many important and exports made by Government and public sectors (like ISRO). They would hardly commit any fraud. Hence, their consignments were cleared by me almost immediately without much scrutiny.There were many importers and exporters (like Arvind Mills), who had been operating from the airport since several years and no case has ever been booked against them. Hence, their consignments were allowed easily with little scrutiny.There were certain consignments where the rate of duty was NIL or very less (less than 5%). There are also hardly any chance of frauds in such cases. Hence, these consignments irrespective of party were allowed clearance quickly.There were many such rules for assessment based on experience.In the same way, I also delegated the routine work to my subordinates.Now I was left with hardly 5-10 files per day where I had to do detailed analysis while 90-95% of the clearances were done almost immediately.The result was that we were able to facilitate clearance, prevent any type of frauds and were more focused on the unscrupulous businesses.I have applied similar principles in every area whenever I had too much work to do.You can apply risk-management, delegation and prioritization of your work to get better results without getting overwhelmed in the process.
