He taught him after hindu culture.Marriage: After his marriage to Yamuna Bai;his father in law Ramchandra Triambak Chiplunkar sponsored his university education .Education: He graduated in arts in year 1905 from Ferguson College, Pune .Barrister: Later, Shyamji Krishna Varma- an Indian nationalist- helped him to study law in England on a scholarship. In year 1909,he became a barrister by becoming member of prestigious Gray’s Inn.Author: Soon Savarkar joined revolutionaries by becoming member of India House -known for pro India and anti colonialism. In 1909;he published a historical book- The Indian War of Independence.[1]Arrest: Naturally, it alarmed British authorities ; he was arrested in 1910 ;but he made his famous but failed escape to France.International case:His case was brought before Permanent Court of Arbitration at The Hague where he unsuccessfully pleaded his case . His case was widely discussed by international media.Imprisonment: Finally, he was tried and sentenced fifty years prison term by Bombay High Court and taken to infamous cellular jail in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.Activism: Historians believe that he turned Hindu nationalist during his imprisonment . After his release , he devoted himself to his cause.Family: He was father of a loving daughter Prabhat Chiplunkar ;who was born in year 1925 and died many years ago. She was mother of a son [2]He was a doting father of a son Vishwas Savarkar ; who worked with a corporate house-Walchand Group- and was also a known author [3]His grand son Ranjit Savarkar stays in Mumbai and is spearheading Savarkar’s philosophy.Conclusion: A nationalist -equally loved and criticized ! On March 29, 2016, domestic passenger flight EgyptAir MS181, flying from Alexandria to Cairo, was hijacked by Seif Eldin Mustafa, an Egyptian man. What appeared to be an explosive belt was nestled under his coat. He ordered the pilots to divert to Cyprus, on pain of detonation.Shortly after landing at Larnaca Airport, 53 of the 56 passengers, and four of the seven crew, were released by the hijacker. The unfortunate few who remained were held hostage while Mustafa negotiated with authorities. Among them was Ben Innes, a health and safety auditor from Leeds, en route home from a business trip.Partway through the group’s wretched period in captivity, Innes decided to enliven proceedings — and bag a memento of his experience — by asking the hijacker to pose for a picture with him.Innes later explained his actions, saying he “just threw caution to the wind” in an attempt to “stay cheerful”.“I thought, why not? If he blows us all up it won’t matter anyway. I’d nothing to lose. It has to be the best selfie ever.”He and the remaining hostages were released after seven hours. The belt was later revealed to be a mock-up, containing no explosive material.Nonetheless, Innes’ actions were condemned as “extremely reckless” by security experts. His mother also chimed in with some harsh words …“The picture is not a selfie. You can clearly see it’s not Ben who’s taking the picture.
