The only conspiracy that I believe to be true with more than 50% certainty is that Suge Knight is responsible for the murders of 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., and Eazy-E.Who is Suge Knight?Marion Hugh Knight Jr., AKA Suge Knight, was a football player who became a bodyguard and concert promoter for various artists. He’s notorious for his strong-arm, threatening tactics, as well as his violent and pugnacious nature. In 1989, he persuaded Vanilla Ice to sign over his royalties from “Ice Ice Baby” by allegedly dangling him over his balcony by his ankles. While Ice denied this happened in court, saying that instead Suge “threatened” to hang him by his ankles off his balcony. The royalties from the record would be used to found his company, Death Row Records.Death Row RecordsIn the early 90’s, Suge approached Dr. Dre with the proposition of leaving Ruthless Records and N.W.A and join his own label, Death Row Records. Dre was intrigued, but legally he was still under contract by Ruthless. Accounts vary; Jerry Heller, the manager of N.W.A and co-founder of Ruthless claims Suge and his entourage threatened him with lead bats. Other accounts vary as far as Suge beating Eazy-E until he signed Dre off to him. Whatever truly happened, Suge played dirty to secure Dr. Dre, D.O.C. and Michel’le to Death Row Records.Death Row Records was not professional by any means. Dr. Dre has stated on multiple occasions that the environment within the label was often violent, with feuds being started with multiple rappers on the East Coast. These feuds escalated to drive-by shootings at music video shoots with rappers Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. In 1995, Suge Knight posted a bail of $1.6 million to release a rapper named Tupac Shakur in exchange for him signing onto the label.The Passion of 2PacIn October 1995, Tupac Shakur was released from prison and he signed onto Death Row, releasing the single “California Love”. Tupac’s subsequent work would incite a feud with Christopher Wallace, AKA “from ashy to classy” THE Notorious B.I.G.By 1996, Dr. Dre, frustrated with Suge Knight’s behavior, left Death Row to form his own label, Aftermath. This is where we first leave history and go into conspiracy. Dr. Dre and 2Pac were on good terms, and 2Pac himself was getting frustrated with Suge Knight and Death Row. It’s believed that 2Pac was trying to leave Death Row Records and join Aftermath, and Suge Knight didn’t like that. On September 6th, 1996, Suge and 2Pac were leaving a boxing match in Las Vegas, when at 11:15pm, 2Pac was shot while he was standing through the sun roof of Knight’s car. Knight sustained minor injuries but Shakur died six six days later from internal bleeding.Knight has been accused as the orchestrator behind the death of 2Pac by rappers such as Snoop Dogg and former detective Russell Poole. However, it’s also believed that Sean Combs, AKA Puff Daddy, AKA P. Diddy called for the shooting. Combs was a rival to Death Row Records at the time, aligned with Bad Boy Entertainment from the East Coast.Personally, this theory I believe the least of the three. I’m more inclined to believe that Suge is responsible for the next death, that of Notorious B.I.G.Notorious B.I.G., Ready to DieChris Wallace, AKA Biggie Smalls, AKA The Notorious B.I.G., was an East Coast, New York rapper known for his feud with 2Pac throughout the 90’s. In 1997, Biggie went to Los Angeles to film a music video for his next album, titled Life After Death. On March 8th, 1997, he presented an award at the Soul Train Music Awards to a mixed response from the West Coast audience. Following this event, he would go to an after-party, and at 12:30am that evening, Notorious and his entourage left to return to his hotel.At 12:45am, March 9th, 1997, Notorious B.I.G.’s convoy of two GMC Yukons stopped at a red light. A black Chevy Impala stopped next to them and opened fire. Four shots hit Notorious B.I.G. in the chest, and he was dead by 1:15am.Suge Knight has been accused multiple times of the murder of Biggie Smalls due to the East Coast-West Coast rap rivalry of the time. The murder of Tupac less than a year prior is also seen as motivation behind the hit, however there hasn’t been enough evidence to implicate Suge Knight behind the murder. That being said, nobody else would be more likely and more capable of murdering Biggie Smalls than Knight.While this murder is highly likely to have been orchestrated by Suge, the final conspiracy theory, the one that I believe to be the most probable, has to do with the death of Eazy-E.Eazy-E: Impact of a LegendEric Wright, AKA Eazy-E, AKA “The Godfather of Gangsta Rap”, originally made ends meet as a drug dealer for the Crips in Compton, California. This made him quite a living, but Eazy-E decided to turn to the hip-hop scene after his cousin was shot and killed in the drug business.Eazy-E would start recording music in the 1980’s, and near the end of the decade he founded the group N.W.A with artists Arabian Prince, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, then later MC Ren and DJ Yella. The group rose to fame with its blunt lyrics about police brutality, life in American poverty, and the realistically bleak propositions for people of color in the United States.The group did well, but as the light that shines brightest shines half as long, soon things deteriorated. Arabian Prince left the group in 1988, then Ice Cube in 1989. Dr. Dre wanted to leave the group too for Death Row, but as mentioned earlier, he was under contract with Ruthless. According to Dr. Dre himself, Suge claimed he kidnapped Heller in a van, then threatened his family, then gave him a piece of paper claiming he knew where his mother lived. The rights were signed off, and N.W.A came to an end.Eazy-E hated Suge Knight. Jerry Heller stated late in his life that he talked Eazy out of murdering Suge Knight, and Heller himself regretted doing so. Eazy-E and Heller had a falling-out, and he was fired for financial impropriety.Starting from July of 1994, Eazy-E began to have a reoccurring cough and wince. On February 24th, 1995, he was diagnosed with AIDS. A month later, on March 26th, 1995, Eric Wright died from the disease.Here’s where we again leave history and enter conspiracy. To me, it seems highly unlikely that Eazy-E would have AIDS, as he was heterosexual and in a relationship with Tomica Woods since 1991. Furthermore, none of Eazy-E’s sexual partners have been infected with the disease, and none of his 7 children, the last of which was born after his death, contracted the disease either. Given all those factors, how did Eazy contract the disease?Personally, I believe Suge Knight was behind Eazy’s AIDS infection. To pour salt in the wound, Suge would joke about the death years later on TV[1].Suge Knight TodaySuge Knight today is serving jail for a drive-by shooting on the set of Straight Outta Compton in 2015. He was indicted by a grand jury in 2017 on charges of threatening death or bodily injury on F. Gary Gray, the director of Straight Outta Compton. This is the latest of a record which includes:October 1987 - Domestic assault on his girlfriend, cutting her ponytail off in public.October 1987 - Attempted murder and auto theft with a firearm, shooting a man three times while stealing his car.1992 - Assault on two rappers at a Hollywood Recording Studio[2].1996 - An altercation that violated his parole. (Suge would serve 5 years in prison for this).1997 - Armed robbery and assault with a firearm.2003 - Assault on a nightclub valet (Suge would serve 10 months for this).2008 - Altercation in a Hollywood nightclub. Knight was knocked out and he refused to cooperate with police.2008 - Aggravated assault in Las Vegas, where he was reportedly “punching a naked woman with one hand.” Charges were dropped.2009 - Altercation in Scottsdale with Robert L. Carnes Jr, the business manager of Akon. Carnes Jr. would be accused of assault and disorderly conduct.2012 - Drug possession, failure to account for various traffic violations, and driving with a suspended license.2014 - Shot six times in West Hollywood at a Pre-VMAs party.2014 - Second-degree robbery and driving with a suspended license. Knight allegedly stole a camera from a paparazzo and was taken into custody.2015 - Involvement in a fatal hit-and-run incident and and suspicion of murder near the set of Straight Outta Compton.You do the math. Did Suge Knight kill Tupac, Biggie Smalls, and Eazy-E? Most likely. If you ask me, he killed a lot more than those three. Rivals of Death Row Records disappeared from 1997–2003, and I don’t think they were isolated incidents. The French king, it has been claimed, was heavily in debt to the Templars due to his war with the English, and was also eyeing the wealth of the Templars for himself.In 1305, Pope Clement V sent letters to de Molay and the Grand Master of the Hospitallers, requesting them to come to France to discuss the possible merger of the two Orders. de Molay arrived in early 1307, though the meeting was delayed for some time.Nevertheless, the Grand Master was able to discuss other matters with the Pope, one of which concerned some charges made a few years earlier by an ousted Templar, regarding impropriety in the Templars’ initiation ceremony. Some believe that the Pope was in collusion with the French king, though others claim that the Pope was a weak character who served as a pawn of Philip.A royal enquiry was set up to look into the matter of the Templars, and Philip saw this as an opportunity to get rid of the Templars. The king, however, would not enjoy his new-found wealth for long, as he died on the 29th of November 1314, less than a year after de Molay’s execution. Some believe that the Templars managed to hide some of their wealth from the French king. This became the foundation for the legend of the Templar’s treasure, and many have since speculated on the location of their richness.Contents of the Templars’ TreasureIt has been claimed that the Templar’s treasure contained more than common material wealth. It is believed that the Templars had collected a number of sacred relics during their time in the Holy Land as well. For example, one of the charges levelled against the Templars was that they were idolaters, and worshipped the image of a ‘bearded man.’An unpublished account of the initiation of a young Frenchman, Arnaut Sabbatier, into the Order, which was found by a historian doing research in the Vatican Secret Archives, has helped to shed light on this claim. It is reported that Sabbatier was “shown a long piece of linen on which was impressed the figure of a man and told to worship it, kissing the feet three times”. These supposed relics include the Treasure of Solomon, the Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail, lost teachings of Jesus, and even the mummified head of Christ.The possible locations for these treasures are also varied, ranging from Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland to Oak Island in Nova Scotia, Canada, and even a remote Danish island in the Baltic called Bornholm.
