I recently got my degree from rgpv via offline procedure because my online degree form is not generated and i am advised to apply offline from rgpv support cell.Here I'm sharing my experience of applying for rgpv main degree via offline process.Steps to followDownload the main degree form from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya website under download forms section and take the printout.Fill all the details in this form.Get the photocopies of all the semester's marksheet.Visit your college and have your form as well as all your marksheet's (1–8) photocopies attested from principal/head of institution. (For this may be you have to fill the no dues form at your college)Visit the rgpv office situated near bhopal airport with all the documents mentioned above along with original marksheets as well.(visit early in the morning around 10:00 am)Write an application to the registrar of rgpv that there is some verification needed where you work or you are selected somewhere and verification is required or you are applying for some college and you need your degree urgently.Visit the union bank of india just behind the rgpv building within its campus and get your challan of ₹250. You will get the challan form from a photocopy shop beside the ubi for ₹1.Now submit your attested main degree form along with attested marksheet of all the semester, application for urgent degree requirement, and challan of ₹250 to the room no 219 in first floor. Here they will collect all the documents and give you the student copy of challan and told you to go to room no 501 in second floor from where they told you to come after a specified time usually 1 week.After 1 week visit the campus again and go to room no 501 and show them your student copy of challan, they told you to wait outside after taking your challan. Go there again after 5 min and remind them that you have given them your challan and then they told you about your degree status and if degree is there they write down something in the back of your copy of challan which you had given to them and told you to wait in the waiting room which is in the left of the room no 501.After 10–20 mins go again there and ask for your degree, they provide you your degree and ask for 8th sem marksheet in original and for original photo id card. Then they get your sign on their register and hand over your degree to you and told you to go to the first floor in registrar office and have your degree verified. Visit there and have attested your degree from registrar office(it will take only 5 mins)In the registrar office they told you to go to the ballabh bhavan (higher education department) and have your degree verified if you ever wish to go outside india.Its my personal advice to visit ballabh bhavan and have your degree verified.Ballabh bhavan is the government headquarter of various departments.If you wish to visit here get the photocopies of class 10th,12th and 8th sem's marksheet and photocopy of you passport's first and last page and photocopy of the main degree front and back. And also have all these documents in original.Take 5 no bus and reach here if you don't have private vehicle. You need a pass to enter which is provided just beside the ballabh bhavan after they check your id i.e. aadhar, pan, dl anything.After getting your pass go to the 3rd floor and ask anyone where the rgpv degree is verified. It is in the higher education department.They give you a form, fill it and submit along with documents mentioned in point 14.They told you to wait outside.Go inside after 15 mins and collect your degree. ( They deliberately delay the verification process for hours just for getting bribe, but don't give them any money coz this is completely free process, if they ask for any money complain to the senior officer whose room is situated witin the same hall.After getting your documents verified here you have to go to the HRD ministry in Delhi before going abroad for the same verification process at national level.( I will update you after i visit the HRD ministry in delhi).
