What do you think of this statement by former Economic adviser Gary Cohn: "It’s worse than you can imagine. An idiot surrounded by clowns. Trump won’t read anything—not one-page memos, not the brief policy papers; nothing."?

What do you think of this statement by former Economic adviser Gary Cohn: "It’s worse than you can imagine. An idiot surrounded by clowns. Trump won’t read anything—not one-page memos, not the brief policy papers; nothing."?During the second world war, a small but well armed group of Japanese Soldiers went underground. Literally, they dug in to caves within the jungles of a remote Island and lost touch of not only reality, but society and the world in general. They received no orders from the “higher ups”, no news from the outside world and they did not know the war was over. Two more were found in another remote Island Sixty years after the war had ended. 60 years after the war ends, two soldiers emerge from the jungle I never thought we would ever see educated, intellectuals with their heads buried In the sand not knowing or having a clue as to what is going on. I was wrong. No one expected Donald Trump to drive half of our country crazy. He did just that. Now you may wonder which half of the country went bat sh(t crazy? Half of them voted for Hillary and the other half voted for the Donald. No one seems to know that Friday, the Labor Department announced that the economy is stellar. No one heard those words. Oh, a guy by the name of Kramer on NBC said that the jobs reports were the lowest its been in Fifty Years. For a year, everyone has been talking doom and gloom and that we were headed for a recession. Hold your ponies. “It’s a significant surprise because economists were ready to go with the idea that payroll growth was slowing down because the job market had gotten tight,” Stephen Stanley, chief economist for broker-dealer Amherst Pierpont, told Bloomberg. “The whole tenor has changed in terms of job growth. We’re back at steady-as-she-goes at a robust pace.” U.S. Jobs Report Breaks Expectations, Unemployment at 50-Year Low | National ReviewThen it occurred to me; why would anyone want a depression? Why would they want the Stock Market to Crash? Why would anyone want the economy to fail? Why would anyone on Quora droll over the question about a statement from a former economist Gary Cohen that has an opinion based on senseless facts? The answer was painful. Half this country, much like the Japanese soldiers totally disconnected from the truth, does not want to believe what has happened to our country. They would like to believe in their heart of hearts that Trump does not read one single page of memo’s. They would like to believe that Trump is surrounded by clowns and that he can’t read brief policy papers. They would like to believe that, but somewhere, sometime, a ship will appear on the horizon with the truth. The truth is a difficult thing to face when you are left in the dark. For years, we relied on the alphabet stations like ABC, CBS and NBC to bring us our news. Then, what I like to call the age of enlightenment came along and gave us cable networks. They didn’t deal in opinions at first but brought us fire in the street broadcasting. Real life stuff that would sway our opinions. Worked for awhile. Then something happened. The truth no longer mattered. Only lies and untruth was broadcast. People had to dig on the internet and research out the truth. In the age of google, its even harder to find the truth when the search engines put forth their version of what is important and what they want you to read. Forget the facts, opinion is now the hallmark. If you really want an honest answer to the question, simply look at the following list and tell me how any of these things were possible if the leader of the country was a raging idiot. Be honest with yourself, come up with why these things did not happen in the previous four Presidential administrations even though we had two Republican Presidents and Two Democrat Presidents? If you can answer this question, you will be a man my son. (No offense to the ladies out there and some that dress like ladies) The Historic Results of President Donald J. What are the lesser-known colleges or universities that have an educational curriculum on par with the big ones like Harvard or Stanford?

Here are a fewHarvey Mudd- toughest and best school of famed Claremont Colleges in California. No Mudd on anyone’s face getting in here with SAT scores higher than Harvard or Stanford. It’s an elite engineering school and the reason why few outside the industry have heard of it is because they don’t have a PhD program and are ranked number 1 in the USA for any engineering program that doesn’t. Some students would choose MUdd over Crimson (Harvard)… it’s that good and respected for enginerring. In fact most reports have it ahead of UCLA and Berkeley as top schools in Ca. Sure it’s not great for history but having to look for a job will be history if you enroll and can stand the academic rigor and graduate.West Point and Annapolis-add in military training, a small stipend to attend, serving your country in an elite role and the fact that these schools have higher annual salaries upon graduation (and serving) and essentially a guaranteed job for life with the military or likewise almost guaranteed admission to Harvard PhD or a job at Google and you can’t wrong. Think about this fact… what graduate school or company wouldn’t offer a spot to one of these Elite military graduates with a profile for courage and bravery. All of us would…Even better it’s free!CalTech- the best school of the bunch and many feel it’s on par or even a birdie to Harvard and Stanford (better for you non golfers/duffers). It would be number one but for the fact that some people have heard of it although many people haven’t. It’s on par with MIT and would be ranked top 5 in USA (not 12) if they only offered stem but they do have students who major or double major in history and English and it’s not up to Harvard Elite levels there although knowing it’s teaching reputation I can guarantee you it’s probably just above par (I mean close). CalTech student profile-typically straights As, a perfect SAT and winner of the national robotics competition (or two). But good luck getting in.U of Waterloo- you might guess it’s located in France/Belgium although Napoleanic in scope and founded about 50 years ago, the school is based in Canada and is a feeder to the sharks-mainly Facebook Google etc for its engineering and computer science.Tie -U Toronto/ lMc Gill- Toronto gave the country away (Canada) but these schools for engineering would be similar to Harvard and give Stanford a run for the money at enginerring mainly Artificial Intelligence (AI). Heck Google and Facebook work with 200 professors and students on Ai. I wonder if you can get a job offer there when done lol. And if you get citizenship later, you’ll get some great Canadian scenery and free health care. Don’t walk but run.Carnegie Mellon- no mellons go here. For computer science, it’s tied as the number one school in USA and top 5 for its engineering so it’s similar to Stanford and better than more famous Harvard. Tougher to get into than Harvard unless your resume is built of steel—ok a puny joke for Carnegie steel, but getting in at $75k is a steal considering the medium undergraduate here makes $105,000 or more than the “poor” Harvard computer science graduate making this degree a “steel.” The school is famous in engineering circles for it’s Ai-one of the highest paying computer science fields (but the public doesn't know this). Many top students who get choose CM over their choose of just about any college in the world.Honorable mention- Williams, Amherst Swarthmore and Wellesley- these famous (ok not so famous) liberal arts college that are phenomenal (ranked 1–4) in the US News best liberal arts colleges. Each somewhat unknown school will provide you with some quality drama (that was a joke) if you will. They may not have Nobel prize winning math or physics teachers although great but they will rival Harvard and Stanford for liberal arts even if they may not be that liberal. Regardless I hope you have pun reading this.
