If Jesus is God, why would God need a son in the first place?

Jesus is Logos - The Eternal Word of God, self existing Co-Creator .He is declared to be the Son of the most High God by the Most High God’s divine oath - forever declaring their eternal future relationship. Lucifer has declared in Heaven he will fight to establish supremacy over Jesus ; and the Most High God responds by Divine Oath Declaring Jesus to become His Son, and Himself to become Logos/Jesus’s Father. Now all rebellion by Lucifer / Satan is seen as treason against the Divine Government of Heaven. The war breaks out, and once the angels demonstrate whose side they fight for, Divine power exiles Lucifer/Satan and all his rebellious host. All the rebellious are now lost and they come to Earth to continue the war.Notice the phrase “I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to me a Son.”The Most High God is speaking to Logos - the Eternal Word, a Co-Creator. The word God means divine Creator, divine Ruler. God is not a name, it is a title. The rest is a long answer but bare with me as I try to explain the concept.Lord is the Old Testament / New Testament word used to refer to God who is dealing with humanity - Old Testament / New Testament context shows that to be Jesus .Genesis 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD <03068> God made the earth and the heavens,Genesis 2:7 And the LORD <03068> God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Here you have a Divine individual meeting with Abraham about 400 years earlier that the life time of Moses.Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD <03068> appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.Genesis 18:1 And the LORD <03068> appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;Genesis 18:17 And the LORD <03068> said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.23 ¶ And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes ……………32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.( The Lord <03068>is being called by Abraham - the Judge of all the earth, 400+ yrs before Moses - There is only One whom the Most High God gives all judgment authority to. John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: John 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. )33 And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.Genesis 21:33 And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD <03068>, the everlasting God. ( Here the Lord & God both refer to this Person whom Abraham is praying to ).5,500+ texts using the word “Lord” <03068> And that word <03068> is from <01969> and it is God <0430> who tells Moses His name / Title = I AM <01961> (8799) THAT I AM <01961> (8799)And in the Gospel of John chapter 8 & 9 The story (with context) of Jesus openly declaring Who He is and the Jews responses.John 8:51 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.Jesus calls Himself the I AM and the Rabbis, Scribes, Learned men realize Jesus has called Himself THE I AM THAT I AM who met Abraham on His way to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah and the other 5 cities of the plains, the same I AM THAT I AM who met Moses at the burning bush they demonstrate that they hate God and do not examine the proofs shown by the life of Jesus - so Jesus wisely never tells them He is God or commands worship. At His trial He is adjured in the Name of the Most High God if He is the Christ / God dwelling inside human flesh. Jesus’s time to die of the whole world’s sins as a vicarious substitute (anciently symbolized by the ram sacrificed in place of Abraham’s miracle son ). There is no more need to stay quiet about it, His ministry is done it time to fulfill the Exodus Passover Lamb and / the Brazen Altar sacrifice in the Mosaic Sanctuary courtyard. Jesus openly confesses at His trial He is the Christ / God’s Only Begotten Son / The Boaz Near Kinsman Redeemer in human flesh. And they all agree to murder Him, but have to give Him to Rome to accomplish it.59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.John 9:1 ¶ And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.8 ¶ The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?9 Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.10 Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?11 He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.12 Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.13 ¶ They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.14 And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.17 They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.18 But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.19 And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?20 His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:21 But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.23 Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.24 Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.26 Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?27 He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?28 Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.29 We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.30 The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.32 Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.33 If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.35 ¶ Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.39 ¶ And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.Jesus shows His attitude toward hypocrisyExodus 3:2 And the angel of the LORD <03068> appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.Exodus 3:4 And when the LORD <03068> saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.Exodus 3:7 And the LORD <03068> said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;Exodus 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD <03068> God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.4 And when the LORD <03068> saw <07200> (8799) that he turned aside <05493> (8804) to see <07200> (8800), God <0430> called <07121> (8799) unto him out of the midst <08432> of the bush <05572>, and said <0559> (8799), Moses <04872>, Moses <04872>. And he said <0559> (8799), Here am I.14 And God <0430> said <0559> (8799) unto Moses <04872>, I AM <01961> (8799) THAT I AM <01961> (8799): and he said <0559> (8799), Thus shalt thou say <0559> (8799) unto the children <01121> of Israel <03478>, I AM hath sent <07971> (8804) me unto you.03068 יהוה Y hovah yeh-ho-vaw’ יהוה @@ "484a"}from 01961;{See TWOT on 484 1AV-LORD 6510, GOD 4, JEHOVAH 4, variant 1; 6519Jehovah= "the existing One"1) the proper name of the one true God1a) unpronounced except with the vowel pointings of 013603069 יהוה Y hovih yeh-ho-vee’a variation of 03068 [used after 0136, and pronounced by Jews as 0430, in order to prevent the repetition of the same sound, since they elsewhere pronounce 03068 as 0136]; ; n pr deiAV-GOD 304, LORD 1; 3051) Jehovah-used primarily in the combination ‘Lord Jehovah’1a) equal to 03068 but pointed with the vowels of 0430 <GOD>01961 היה hayah haw-yawa primitive root [compare 01933]; v; {See TWOT on 491}AV-was, come to pass, came, has been, were happened, become, pertained, better for thee; 751) to be, become, come to pass, exist, happen, fall out1a) (Qal)1a1) ——1a1a) to happen, fall out, occur, take place, come about, come to pass1a1b) to come about, come to pass1a2) to come into being, become1a2a) to arise, appear, come1a2b) to become1a2b1) to become1a2b2) to become like1a2b3) to be instituted, be established1a3) to be1a3a) to exist, be in existence1a3b) to abide, remain, continue (with word of place or time)1a3c) to stand, lie, be in, be at, be situated (with word of locality)1a3d) to accompany, be with1b) (Niphal)1b1) to occur, come to pass, be done, be brought about1b2) to be done, be finished, be goneMicah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.Hebrews 1:1 ¶ God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;4 ¶ Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. Psalms7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.Jesus the Second Adam is standing in the responsible position as representative of every human that has ever lived or will live, and only by death under divine vengeance for the broken Law of God can a sufficient atonement sacrifice be given of sufficient value. As Logos He can not die. He takes human nature into Himself - now He can die. But as a human He can sin, and as Abraham’s seed He takes the weaknesses of 4,000+ years of sin upon humanity. And as Son of the Most High God the relationship is close enough to allow The Most High God to live in Jesus and the Two cleave to each other in a partnership that enables Jesus AS A HUMAN MAN to not sin, and to learn obedience and perfect Human righteousness through His sufferings as He battles to live sinlessly perfectly 100% loyal to Father God, and be victorious in the battle against sin and Satan. That’s why The Most High God has a Son. Satan can contest the Most High God working to give any other person a sinless life here on Earth, but not a Father living in His Son keeping Him close by His side in battle against sin here in this Earth below.
