USC, becauseUSC have Computer Science/Business Administration (CSBA); Informatics; Intelligence and Cyber Operations program. UCLA stuck with traditional Computer Science and/or Engineering program.USC semester system (128 units to graduate : mostly 4 units per course = 32 courses total) better than UCLA quarter system (180 units to graduate : mostly 4 units courses = 45 courses total). Less courses = more balance between academic and social life. Quarter system sucks!USC give credits for more AP exam scores than UCLA. But, UCLA open more summer credit courses for high school student.USC greek life and frat party ‘billion light years’ better than UCLA. USC girls hotter than UCLA nerds.

By combining with Khan Academy, these two groups teach students that the SAT is full of content they are already learning in high school. They focus then, on teaching students material they already know, instead of teaching them practical tips for analyzing the SAT in a way that leads to SAT specific test strategies, such as language that indicates incorrect answers.Substitute Abstracts with Tangibles (S.A.T.) - SAT Math questions ask questions in abstract concepts, which can often confuse the test-taker during an already stressful experience. Rather than trying to analyze math in an abstract way, one test strategy is to substitute tangible numbers into abstract equations.Substitute Answers in the Problem (S.A.P.) - Similar to tip #3, this strategy involves using the multiple choice answers in your favor. Try substituting the answers in the multiple choice answers into the original equation.Build Your Own Simple Solution (B.O.S.S.) - When tackling the SAT Reading section, write down the answer that you believe is correct as you read the passage, before reading the answers provided in the multiple choice section. Most time spent on the SAT Reading section is spent debating which of the multiple choice answers seems the most correct. By writing your own answer first before looking at the choices, you can more easily identify which choice is the correct one.Watch Out for Extreme Language - Watch out for any answers choices that include extreme language, such as “always” or “never”.Cross Out Prepositions - I’ve found that grammatical errors are almost never in the prepositional phrases. The prepositional phrases seem to be placed to distract from the actual errors, such as singular-plural errors, comparison errors, parallelism errors, idiom errors, transition errors, and pronoun errors. Physically crossing out the prepositions can help you identify the other errors.Watch Out for 99% Wrong Words - There are certain words and phrases that often indicate incorrect answers in the SAT Writing section. 99% of the time, words such as “being” or “is the reason why” indicate incorrect answers. These phrases put sentences in the passive voice or create redundancies, whereas the SAT Writing section prefers answers that are succinctly written.Exploit SAT Essay Length and Vocab - While counter to what might be taught in high school, the SAT Essay is really about quantity over quality. Readers only have 2-3 minutes to read your essay, so making the essay lengthy and full of big vocabulary words can help you score higher on the essay subscores:SAT Essay Writing Subscore – vocab will showcase a command of languageSAT Essay Reading Subscore – vocab will allow for better expression of ideasSAT Essay Analysis Subscore – vocab will create more advanced insightsUse SAT Essay Templates - Templates will help you structure your essay.
