This. This is Robert Sylvester Kelly, popularly known as R. Kelly, in an interview with Gale King on Monday March 6, 2019.Let me explain why I hated seeing this.Robert, at 27years old was accused of illegally marrying a 15year old minor Aaliyah Dana Haughton (yes the popular R&B singer Aaliyah) in a secret ceremony on August 31st, 1994.During that time, one Tiffany Hawkins was seeking to utilise the documents of the aforementioned marriage in a case against Robert. For some reason, Robert chose to settle and Tiffany accepted an offer of $250,000 subject to a confidentiality agreement, back in 1998.Robert has as well been charged and tried based on pictures and videos that show Robert in illegal sexual acts with minors, though he wasn’t convicted.Robert’s infamous underage pee-pee tape surfaced February 3rd, 2002. He was indicted in Chicago on 21 counts of child pornography in June 2002, though he was found not guilty of all 14 of 14 counts 6 whole years later.During investigations, guess what the Sheriff’s office found in Robert’s house during a search? A video camera wrapped in a towel in a duffel bag. On that tape is… you guessed it. ANOTHER UNDERAGE GIRL!! *facepalm*. Arrested for this in January 2003, charges were dropped March 2004 due to lack of probable cause for the search.Forward to June 2017 and Robert Kelly was accused by three sets of parents of holding their kids in an “abusive cult”. Other developments ensued.The following year documentaries on his previous conducts were flying left and right across continents. There has been boycotts. There has been social media outcry.And just last month, after Lifetime’s six-part documentary series “Surviving R Kelly” this January 2019, Robert was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and he pleaded not guilty to all of them.I get that I wasn’t there. I get that I don’t know the man personally. But if I had this history, and new charges came up, and I had a chance to whip up public sympathy with none other than a reputable personality like Gale King… YOU CAN BET ON ANYTHING THAT I WOULDN’T FLARE UP AND THROW FITS OF ANGER WITH HYSTERIA TO THE POINT THAT A GENERAL QUESTION OF WHETHER GALE KING WAS SAFE DURING THE INTERVIEW HAS TO COME UP.What was R Kelly thinking?! *facepalm***hit the follow button for more!

I am married to an Indonesian and this year we agreed to have our young neice come and live with us in Bali from Sumatra, so my exposure to Indonesias public education system is based entirely on what my wife has told me, and my direct experience with our young neice.Now there are a couple of things about schools in Indonesia that impress me, and something I believe the west could learn from. One is the early start time of 7.30am, which would help overcome many of the working solo parent problems in the west. The second thing that impressed me was the children have to be at school prior to 7.00am to all clean the school each day! If this was done to teach the children to take care of their environment it would be great as Im all in favour of human development and teaching the children responsibility, manners, consideration and all the other social skills important in life. With the early start time comes an early finish time too. School finishes at noon five days a week, and 11am on Saturdays. Its just unfortunate the school, on a whim may decide to delay the finish time and keep the children for 15minutes to one hour longer on ocassions. No thought given for the fifty odd parents waiting outside to pick their children upBefore her arrival we had to go and find an SD school that would accept her, as they are relatively small and locals take priority over non locals.Once we found a school for my neice I experienced the rather arduous beaurcratic nonsence of continued requests for paperwork and documents from the previous school which went on for months… fairly standard in Indonesia when dealing with any part of the government I guess, but then came my first sideways look. I am asked to pay a rather large fee. Now I perfectly understand the cost of the new uniforms, and am used to paying school fees in the public education system in my western home country……. but I’ve never previously been asked to sign a confidentially agreement agreeing to never disclose I had paid a fee!It all seemed rather ironical that the existence of the confidentiality agreement alone would be conclusive evidence that an illegal fee had been paid, and they were attempting to cover it up! - maybe this didnt occur to them?During her first few months at the new school we encounter various minor transitional problems, that are not uncommon for a child starting a new school but had reason the contact her teacher for one of these. Problem solved? Nope. The next day the child was reprimanded by the teacher for telling her guardians issues from school. She was asked not to tell her Parents what her problems are in school!!!Also during the first few months im shocked at the volume of homework she has been required to complete each night. It initially started out at about 2- 3 hours homework, but gradually grew to 4–5 hours each night. This is straight text book homework… pages and pages of it. So i start asking my neice about how the homework is assigned, and how its marked, and what explanations are given by the teacher? As it appeared to me she was now repeating previous homework which was being compounded with new homework!Now my neice isn’t stupid. When she arrived in Bali I taught her how to swim backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle within 2 weeks…. from a kid who couldnt swim at all. She learned English from me within 3 months… from a kid who knew maybe 5 english words we can now have complete conversations between English or Indonesian.So when questioned about instructions from the teacher regarding the results of her homework she replied “nothing” Ok, so what does your teacher say when assigning homework? Again “nothing”. So what happens in class? What does the teacher teach you?….. “nothing”. By this stage, and contrary to my first experiences I’m beginning to think my neice may have some learning problems. How could kids go to school and not be taught anything?Is she exaggerating? I ask her what does the teacher do in class? She tells me the teacher will tell them to read something while she marks papers etc. Maybe private tuition is the answer? Ok. my neice says yes please. All the other kids go to private tuition and do their homework there! Great!!, yes, its run from the teachers private house and it only costs each kid Rp10,000 a day. What?????The kids get taught very little at the school, but if you actually want to learn anything you privately pay the teacher for extra lessons at her house!!! . Talk about a conflict of interest!! But hey its Indonesia -there has to be an angle in it for someone…someone has to be making an extra dollar somewhere!!!So now her homework is up to date and correct, because everthing that is not provided in the school classroom is now provided in the private pay-as-you-go teacher tuition.The next issue we faced was one my wife had previously experienced in her life in school. Both are identified as Islam on their identity cards and therefore they have a slightly different curriculum insofar as some of their lessons and exams are in Arabic. Not just the religious part of the cirriculum, but unless the child learns Arabic they are not going to progress too well with their education!Now compulsary learning of other languages is again not uncommon in some western societies. New Zealand for example is soon to make it compulsary for children to learn the language of its first arrivals, the Maori. The language is not used in any general sence and most of it was in fact put together by early Europeans and contemporary acedemics. It serves no purpose other than a feel good factors for the politically correct. The difference is however if you dont learn it you will fail your maori language class. Not other classes as well! If the child does not learn Arabic in Indonesia they have compromised a lot of their education!So whilst we have conformed to the backdoor method of privately paying a teacher to learn what should be free in the schools I am happy that my neice has now progressed and getting acceptable marks in school. What I am not happy about is the life lessons she is learning from the school, who are supposed to be role modelsShe has now learned that despite what the government promises as free, someone will profit from it.She has learned not to be punctual nor have regard for others.She has learned underhand payments is how Indonesia works.She has learned it is ok to keep secrets from her guardians.She has learned that the most important thing she must know is a language associated with her religion that will serve no purpose outside of religion, but all will fail unless you learn it

I have no judgement in these matters but it seems you do and are not looking for a real answer.I am answering your question with facts instead of an emotional rant. Evan Chandler who master minded the child molestation allegation of 1993 lost his medical practice, suffered depression and other mental and physical illnesses, lived as a recluse and outcast. His son Jordan petitioned a court to be classified as an emancipated minor at 16 and ( claims he ) never saw or spoke to his father again. Evan committed suicide several months after Michael's death. He had recieved $1 million of the approximately $23 million he sued Michael Jackson for. His wife June recieved $1 million and his son Jordan recieved the rest. The settlment had been paid by Jackson's insurance company, Lloyds Of London.Jordan Chandler took his millions in settlement money and disappeared. No one is sure of his whereabouts , he might be living in Europe under a changed name. He would not personally testify in the 2005 trial. He claimed he wanted to forget the past and move on with his life. June Chandler, Jordan's mother, did testify in 2005 that she never witnessed molestation. She has not seen or heard from her son in 20 years. She goes about her life.In the 2005 child molestation accusations and trial, Gavin Arvizo , the alleged victim,was recently married. He was not one of Michael’s “special friends”, more like a temporary resident of Neverland, although he did spend time with Michael .He lives and works in Georgia. He is a college graduate and has recently become “very religious”. His new wife is a minister's daughter. He has never done an interview or accepted money for his story . Neither has his brother. His mother who initiated the allegations seems to have disappeared and is probably still the con artist she had always been.Wade Robson Filed suit against Michael's estate for having been sexually abused. The lawsuit was dismissed. Robson still maintains Michael sexually abused him ,saying prior to his legal claim he was brainwashed into defending his abuser and “maintaining promised secrecy.”He says that due to the Chandler and Arvizo extortionists no one believes him. He claimed he could not file charges while Michael was alive because he felt too guilty charging a man who was his idol ,gave him so much money, told him he loved him, and who helped him start his career as a dancer/ choreographer. He claimed he had promised to keep the secret and signed confidentiality agreements. For years he worked as a back up dancer in music videos and for singers like Brittany Spears. His affair with Brittany Spears was the reason Justin Timberlake ended their romance back in the 1990's. He still works as a choreographer today and recieves daily hate mail and death threats from Michael Jackson fans.James Safechuck story is more complex. Nine year old James Safechuck met Jackson while both were working on a Pepsi commercial. He was the first of Michael’s child friends to go on tour with him. They pretty much lived together for years. By age 14 Michael called and saw him less in favor of a “new special friend“ Brett Barnes.While still in contact Michael urged James to be a film maker. He paid for directing and film making courses and used him as an extra in two videos as a thank you for his positive deposition in the Evan Chandler case. James felt indebted. There was publicity that Michael "launched James’ film career". James was disinterested in the career and it failed.James was asked to testify at the 2005 molestation trial and had refused because of his shame at being nicknamed “the boy Michael Jackson threw away".James said he finally agreed to testify to no molestation " in hopes Michael would resume a friendship". Michael did not. Tom Messerau, Jackson’s lawyer stated Jame’s wedding was at Neverland , proof these boys were also adult friends and not used for child molestation.Messerau found out there was no such wedding at Neverland, that Michael had not seen James in years or even returned his calls. James was married in Chicago ( source, public records) . The testimony was removed.James began to have serious emotional, job and relationship problems as he felt he had done something wrong.It was only in the following years did he claim to “realize the non consensual nature of his friendship with Michael Jackson”.He was afraid to report it fearing Michael's lawyers would " put him in jail for breaking a confidentiality agreement” or “ be arrested for falsely testifying in the 2005 trial and Chandler deposition "James said he had idolized and loved Michael and ”convinced himself it was all his fault”. He began to suffer anxiety, guilt and shame.He “feared he would become a child molester” and had panic attacks. He was unable to hold a job.Things got worse and James Safechuck spent a few years feeling “screwed up” as he termed it. He developed xanax dependency problems. He went to therapy.James filed a posthumous sexual abuse claim against Jackson. He cites the reason for the delay being a "conflict of emotions he had suffered for many years, that if Jackson had befriended him as a way to relive his childhood, Jackson had then in turn, stolen James childhood"The case was dismissed because too much time had passed since the alleged molestation. There was no evidence anyway.He returned to college, studied mathematics, got a degree and is now a computer programmer. He is married with two ( ?) children.
