You are up and running with your bank account with net banking activated. And all of this sitting in India and not making one trip to the US.Regarding various transactions/maintenance costs:SVB does not charge any maintenance fee for the account (as far as I know). But any wire transfer that happens from your account would cost $15 (and in some cases the receiving party would ask you to pay their bank fees aslo). If you account is registered with US address than you can withdraw money to US bank account. If you live in another country you should change your address and withdraw money to your local bank account. In case Paypal does not support money withdraw in your home country the best option is to spent your money on something.
