You will be taken care of once you are shortlisted for the state and national pageant. The Miss India organization provides for food, accomodation, training etc so you don’t have to spend money for those things.However, you will have to make an initial investment on your grooming and buying your self a pageant-appropriate wardrobe. Once selected for the state and national pageants you have to present your best self to the organizers and judges for either a week or a month - for this you need to come prepared with dresses, heels, and work on your national costume, talent competition, fashion icon competition etc which all at some point or the other would require you to spend some money.Hope this helps.—Please note that different pageants franchises in India are owned by different organizations. While Miss India Organization - the one currently responsible for Miss World, Miss Universe etc do not have a registration fee and may provide accommodation and experiences after being shortlisted - other organizations responsible for other international pageants may ask for a registration fee and you may have to figure out your own travel and accommodation and other costs during the timeline of the national pageant, however if all goes well and you win - the international pageant you’d be a part of should be fully funded.

I'm not sure if the original hall ticket is a required document.If it is, you can sign a declaration form during registration, and convey your situation to the volunteers present. They'll certainly accommodate your request, and find out an alternative, as the declaration form only says that you'll submit the required document at a later date, but given that you've lost it, that may not be possible.We get such cases every year during registration, but the IISERs are very accommodating, and helpful in these matters.
