Few days back, I was sharing a cab with a lady. I sat beside the driver and the lady at the back.Now, this lady asked him how much time it will take to reach her stop.He: 30 minutes madam, as I had to drop him first.She: Why he must be dropped earlier since I booked the cab first.He: Madam, that’s not how it works. His stop comes earlier than your’s and the route is directed accordingly.She then started creating ruckus that she need to reach her place fast as she got to attend the movie and all that shit.No matter how much he tried to convince her, she never listened. So he pleaded me to adjust. Since I was in no hurry, I accepted.But the driver seemed new to OLA, hence had trouble using the app, So I helped him.Meanwhile at the back, she was still bickering about his inexperience.But he never cared and patiently drove the car to her drop point.But what he did next blew my mind away.He guided the car to a place where there was big puddle of water as it rained heavily that morning. He stopped in between the puddle and told her to get down.She: How can I get down here? Move further.He: Madam, I had stopped at exactly the point where you placed on the app.She: Playing games with me huh? Okay, I am not gonna pay you now.He: No madam, you already paid me through OLA money. So stop your squabbling and get the hell out of my car.We both were surprised by his changed tone. Since she was running out of time, she had no option but to get down.She got down and and soon his face gave into devilish laugh, watching her pretty dress getting drenched while walking in that water.Indeed a THUG LIFE moment.

Recently we bought our first flat. It was a new 3 BHK flat in a gated community, good enough for our family. My family were longing to buy one and we are obviously elated, especially my mother whose happiness has no bounds.Our house warming ceremony is due in a fortnight and she called our neighbor to our house to inform about it. She was, in one word, a typical Indian Aunty generally shown in our movies. Let's call her A and my Mom M.M: By God’s grace, we finally had a flat of our own.A: Yeah, good for you. By the way, how much is the area? How much it costed?M: It’s 1550 sq.ft. It costed around 60 lakhs.At that time, I came out of my study room to drink water.A:(in a sarcastic tone) Acha, Just 1550 sq.ft? It's a small house. I thought you would go for a bigger one. Ours is around 1800 sq.ft costing 90 Lakhs.My Mom could not react to her satire. All her excitement just vanished with that retort. So I too my cue in.Me: Yes Aunty. Some people are so fat that they need a bigger one. Sometimes I wonder if your 1800sq.ft house still enough for you?And I left the room after savoring the look on her burnt face. My Mom later told me that she left the house immediately, swearing to herself and we both had hearty laughing session.

It almost sucks.My goal is to crack Indian Engineering Services and I am preparing for it for 2 years. But still technically, I am jobless.I graduated from an IIT in 2016. So I was expected to get a job during placements and earn a 6 figured salary by now.But No, I made my choice to prepare for UPSC. I faced some resistance from my parents and relatives but I convinced them anyway.By mid 2017, I was still jobless, as I failed in the exam by a few marks. From then, the actual problems started.Relatives whom I never seen before came flocking to us. Some of them were like, I told you so. Some advised me to go to software and other jobs. Uff...Dreadful time that was.By that time, most of my friends joined in their respective jobs. It feels lonely when I couldn't find someone to talk to as they were busy.Stopped attending the functions so as to avoid that one question.. What are you doing, my son?My parents still gave me one more chance to redeem. But still I can sense their concern about me when they ask whether my preparation is going well and if I am going to crack this year.It almost sucks because my hope is still alive and that by this year end, I will not be Jobless.
