Start by making a list of companies related to EEE in Delhi/NCR.This should not take more than a day.Find contacts who can help you apply in them.You have to get in touch with seniors, linkedin, college professors for getting this info.Then put an official internship application on email to these contacts.Make sure you apply on the websites as well.This should be done asap, since there isn't much time.All the best.

I completed my graduation back in June,2017 & applied for a lot of off-campus jobs for better opportunities & got rejected from all the top companies.Here’s the picture of one of my updates on Linkedin.I got rejected by all the top companies of the era.D.E Shaw&Co. - Rejected in the telephonic interview.Mckinsey&Co. - Rejected in their final round.ABP News - Rejected because I don’t own a four wheeler & they wanted someone who owns a car .Goldman Sachs - Straight rejection three times in a row. Application not accepted.J.P Morgan&Chase Co. - Again,straight rejection . Application not accepted.P&G - Couldn’t ace the Psychometric test.I was really depressed because I never expected about getting rejected by companies .It was late August when I was going through hiring of companies on Linkedin & saw : Zomato is hiring interns for one of their key products - Zomato gold.I never thought of being a part of Zomato but yes,something clicked & I applied for the internship without any expectations.Within seven days,I got a mail from HR that my resume have been shortlisted for internship & I have been called up for an interview round at One Horizon Centre,Gurgaon.4th September , 2017 : I went to One Horizon centre,Gurgaon for the interview.First thing,I liked about Zomato,was their office & the area where it was situated.Let me show it through pictures.This is the area where Zomato global headquarters is situated. Though,Zomato has five offices across Delhi/NCR but their office at One Horizon Centre,Gurgaon is one amazing trip. It is surrounded by many restaurant chains who are known for their food across Delhi/NCR.Followed by Zomato,the complex has offices of Samsung,Apple,Facebook,GSK,Coca - Cola,Vistara , Uber & many more.Zomato has its office at 22nd floor currently.I was all suited up & went for an interview.I just entered into their office & was stunned to see everything out there.It was hell amazing.Let me put some pictures for the same.View from their office :’)Work area where most of the departments work globally.Front view if we’re coming through lift. This picture was from the first day of my internship.The board room where future decisions take place.The office also has a bed for relaxing.Apologies for not clicking a picture of their cafeteria but it is hell awesome.Also,they provide free food to their employee’s & there’s a lot of other options to eat if you don’t mind spending few bucks out there in the cafeteria.So coming to my interview,I cleared my GD & interview on the same day & HR told me that you have been selected as a merchant engagement intern for Zomato gold.5th september,2017 : It was my birthday when I started with my first job. I was dressed in casuals.Things move very differently in Zomato, so we had to adjust according to the culture & needs.When I started working with Zomato,I got to know later on that I am surrounded by really smart people who are masters in identifying gaps in the market & then using it to a great affect. Zomato employees are mostly from ISB’s & some of them are from Oxford or Harvard. Few IITIAN’s also work there & we all know that Deepinder Goyal sir is also from IIT Delhi.I had to adapt with the environment.If there was a plan A on day 1 , then there is a plan - B on day 2 & so on . People act fast with precision & accuracy . Whatever every employee in Zomato contributes,it makes Zomato awesome.We usually follow a tagline - “1% done” which means that no matter what we achieve at present or future , we always consider it our first step of success :)People in Zomato are helpful & humble . Every person promotes & help each other in the learning process & this is the main reason why Zomato has grown exponentially over the decade.I was responsible for deployment of the restaurants during my internship . Also,we were also responsible for promoting Zgold in the market by partnering with restaurants . I did my work with dedication for next three months & it wouldn’t be possible without my fellow team mates.I got my PPO to join as an full time employee as an account manager for Zgold but after working for four months,I planned to do my masters & hence,left my job for good .I would always feel proud to be a part of an excellent company & my quora handle is still EX-ZOMATO.Thanks for reading.Cheers.
