If there’s a checklist of everything which needs to be included as part of your application, you might want to print that out as a reminder and physically mark each item on the list as it’s added to the application packet.Please use the spell-check & grammar-check tools which are probably already on your computer (or which you can easily download free apps for), especially for the essay portion of your application.If you’re looking for a few more colleges/universities to apply to, avoid the for-profit institutions, and don’t obsess over just the elite institutions everyone has heard of (f.ex., the “Ivies”). Use the Net Cost Calculator and the Freshman Class Profile to find affordable colleges/universities which are a good “academic fit” for you, whether you’ve ever heard of those institutions before or not.
