Court rules require all parties provide copies of everything they file to be also sent to all other parties who have filed an appearance. Michigan and federal court rules also require filing a notice that other parties of record have been provided copies.

I have been a deer hunter for almost 60 years and I have seen many unusual things while hunting. For the last 15 years I have hunted exclusively in a large swatch of state land in Saginaw and Gratiot counties in mid-Michigan. It covers about 17,000 acres of hard woods, pines, and swamp land. My usual method of deer hunting is to move quietly and try to cover a lot of ground. As a result I see many unusual and unexpected things.I have seen many fine bucks dead with just the head and antlers missing. Every year I see deer that have been shot and left to rot in the woods. The hunter may have shot at a deer and see it run off and think that it was a missed buck. I have come upon preteen hunters by themselves with large rifles waiting to bag their buck. One time I was doing a December hunt in deep snow and saw 4 hunters, dressed in some type of winter military uniforms marching in quick step through the snow. All hunting parties that I have observed would spread out in the woods but these men were in military formation. I tried to talk to them but they spoke in some Asian language.In the fall of 2010 or 2011 I couldn’t help but observe a tremendous amount of shooting coming from a nearby stand of woods, also on public hunting land. It was almost a continuous blast of shooting. This would go on almost everyday and then silence. Not a shot to be heard. I was so curious that I stopped a conservation officer and asked if he knew what was happening across the road. A big smile appeared on his face and he couldn’t help but start to laugh. It was then that I knew that I was on to a good story.He asked if I had noticed any blue tarps laying on the ground in the woods. Yes, I had noticed a number of tarps but had no idea of their use. He explained that these hunters would lay beneath the tarp and when any animal or bird would come into range they would blast at it. It didn’t matter what animal or bird, legal or not, they would shoot it. The conservation officers had noticed an old station wagon partially concealed near the hunting land. When they looked inside they saw song birds, fawns, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, ground hogs, and a variety of other animals that most people wouldn’t consider as food.The conservation officers put a tracker on the vehicle so they could find where these men were taking the animals. They followed the car from a safe distance so the men did not know they were under surveillance. It turns out that they were supplying a restaurant with these animals. Just as the men had unloaded all the animals into the back of the restaurant, the conservation officers arrested the men on various hunting violations. The restaurant was shut down and has been vacant for years.

Coraline is an animated, dark fantasy film based on a book of the same name that was written by Neil Gaiman.The film is about a young girl named Coraline, who has just moved to Michigan from Oregon, with her parents. Due to her parents giving more attention to their work struggles than their child, Coraline feels abandoned and struggles to acclimatise to her new surroundings. She inadvertently discovers an idealised parallel world, Other World, behind a secret door in her new home. There, she meets her Other Mother and her Other Father, button-eyed doppelgängers of her real parents who are more caring and attentive. However, the Other World has its dark secrets. It is not the perfect world it appears to be.
