It’s one of the top public schools in the country, and since it is in-state it was far cheaper than Cornell or Michigan, who would’ve cost me 2–3x more than W&M. I also always liked W&M so I wasn’t disappointed to decide to go there.

Q. How much do high school grades matter to a 4 year college? (Please read details) I'm currently at a community college and getting good grades. problem is when I was in high school my gpa was 1.9. Now it's 3.3 after 1 year of college. I’m hoping to transfer to James Madison. I want to know how much my grades in high school will impact getting in versus my grades in college.A.
