I moved and the Korean language is necessary. Everything is a pro for me, everything but here are the cons: (extremely out weighed by way more pros). I had Taco Bell for the first time since I moved here, hah.BAD AIR QUALITY: Palos Verdes was often under 20, in Korea moderate days are 50–60s and it gets into the 100s at times, but I stay indoors and don’t do workouts on those days, having to wear a K94 micro dusk mask. CA has months of fire season that send the numbers that high too.SEOUL: It’s the biggest, packed, and very crowded in all senses of the word. I don’t live there and I love visiting friends and grabbing foods I’m in the mood for. I still love the public transportation bc it’s cheap and easy to get around, plus I love Koreans and the society so I don’t mind.Culture is strong, Korea is conservative, but if you’re not Korean, people give you a pass. You don’t need to make that much money to live well. You don’t need to have that much to be set, maybe 150,000 US for a deposit and any job can provide a comfortable life of peace and enjoyment!

I am doing both CA & CFA, so I think I am qualified to answer this question.CA- Coming straight to the main point, YES!, in order to pass/score well in CA, you need some mugging skills (well most of us do, exceptions are always there). You can understand every concept from 100s of books but if you are not able to produce the same language or even close to the Institute's language in the exam, you are in trouble.Don't fall for the usual quoted adage “Just understand the concepts, you will pass easily”, while this is true for practical subjects, but for subjects like Law, Audit and ITSM/EIS, you are inviting trouble if you don't use professional jargon i.e. Institute's language. You don't need to go full monty and write pure verbatim or go all the way being grandiloquent, the trick is to remember and write some of the keywords at the very least. Well, most of the students don't even do that.This is the reason you won't see many people scoring above 95 in CA exams. Leave 95, you will hardly find 10 people scoring above 85. (85, 95 are being referred to individual subject scores, in aggregate AIR 1 rarely crosses 75%). CA is a professional course and one as an aspiring professional is expected to have stupendous command over technical jargon. Don't treat it like a normal college exam. Give the professional course the respect it deserves.CFA- Coming to CFA, it is an MCQ based international exam where mugging up is as useless as Benzema in Real Madrid.I know people who have passed this exam just by studying for a couple of weeks (Level1). For L2 and L3 as well, you can prepare in 45–60 days if your L1 base is good and you are able to give 6+ hours every day for those 45–60 days.Edit: Benzema's reference is no longer valid, he is nailing it out there !

No doubt, it is very difficult to survive in India if you are a girl who is dark complexioned.I am a dark complexioned Indian woman who is always treated unfairly because of dark complexion.When I was born , everyone was unhappy because of two reasons - one, I was 4th girl child in family and two, I was dark complexioned.When I was enrolled in school, my peers didn't like to sit with me , talk to me, befriend me. Therefore, I used to sit alone, eat alone, study alone and play alone. Even teachers used to prefer to talk to those students who were normal (i.e. fair/average complexioned or comfortable looking).After 5th standard, i started topping in my class which brought me in limelight. Few student grew interest in me and started talking to me. This is how I made two three http://friends.inIn 8th standard, I changed the school. When I went in new school, same story repeated. No one liked to sit with me, talk to me, have lunch with me. I used to sit alone, eat alone, study alone, play alone. I remember, once a girl of my class made fun of me by telling me that I am the most beautiful girl in the world. Her friends started laughing when she said that. In same standard i.e. when I was in class 8th, a guy asked me to sit quietly because I don't look good.In 9th standard, I was getting angry on a guy who took my notebook and didnt return that timely. To which he told me that my face will become more ugly if I will get angry on him.In 10th standard, my class teacher told me that looks matters a lot and I should work upon same. I sent friend request to my same class teacher which she declined.In 11th standard, since I took Commerce and class and people were new, nobody liked to see me. I became a loner since then.I topped the school in class 12th and came to Delhi for pursuing CA.I came to Delhi with 4 other girls from my city for pursuing CA. We all used to stay together. I was bullied in every possible way by those 4 girls.When I used to go to attend CA classes, other students of the class didn't want to sit with me. I attended all of my CA classes sitting alone in classesSince I am very naive, my principal humiliated me in every possible way at the time of articleship.Today I am a CA. When I qualified CA, it was very difficult for me to get a good job because everywhere it was there inherent requirement that a candidate should be good looking.It took a lot of time for me to grab a job. Even today I face biasedness in one way or the other.Dark complexioned women are thought to be angry young woman and are often misunderstood for what we are not because we don't appear pretty to people.On same mistake, a dark complexioned lady faces more criticism than a fair looking lady. This has happened to me 100s of times in my life till now.I am of an age where some of my friends have got married, some are getting married soon, some have babies but I am still single. Instead, I have never been into any kind of relationship with anyone in my entire life. Neither I am desperate to get married. I have accepted the fact that I am not meant to get married. Getting married to me means a lot of struggle. I have accepted that no guy could ever fall in love with me. There are grooms available who may get ready to marry me but with a condition that my parents should pay him a handsome sum of money in the form of dowry. This itself shows that love has vanished in today's world.All I dream of today is my own home and car in Delhi. But this dream of mine comes with an obvious fear of safety. What should I do? Where should I stay? I can't stay in a hostel my entire life. I can't even stay with my parents and brother's family my entire life. I have stopped even thinking about all this and is living my life the way it is presently.
