The prime most things that you should do are to collect the relevant data for the topic. But make sure you have selected a research-based topic on which you can collect ample data, or you can add some of your findings. Do some critical thinking and write your thesis statement down in one sentence.• Make a research paper outline that helps an author to organize the contents in systematic order.• Revise the rough draft before proceeding to the original one.• Later on write an introduction, abstract, body contents, conclusion, and bibliography.• Scrutinize papers for plagiarism or grammatical errors.

Gather tons of information (I might go through 100s of books and thousands of research papers in a reasonably short period of time - google scholar; google books; google search; pubmed; interlibrary loan; and a good research library - you don't need to do a triple read of papers, etc. you are mostly just saturating your brain with the topic, forming network between ideas; establishing important relationships; noting anomalies or contradictions; etc)Structure the information to make sure you are getting a good grasp of the topic (I write a summary outline of the topic, important insights, ideas thus far rejected, questions that arose that I didn't find an answer to, etc)Generate numerous hypothesis (this happens throughout and in particular parallel with the reading - I continuously generate theories and questions, often further reading automatically rejects them or rules them out)Order the hypothesis (by plausibility, ease of testing, interestingness) (usually I only have a few strong hypothesis at this stage)Test the hypothesis till you find one you can't reject (my testing is usually a deeper dig into the research literature)Try to generate additional alternatives that fit the data and repeat above till you are doneWrite up findings/file patents/get publishedOften times I'll take breaks with random other research on unrelated topics and it will help me generate insights. I have lots of trouble with stage 7 - once my mind has 'solved' a problem, it is seems unwilling to spend much time on it. Unfortunately taking notes and writing during the process really slows down my brain, especially when it is 'on fire' and is generating/rejecting insights quickly.

It feels so honest, every word she writes. It feels extremely sincere. Her answers range from succinct scientific explanations to heartfelt real life stories. She is ideal by every means.McKayla Kennedy is the only writer I have seen who selflessly writes about Quora, to the point. She’s kind of performing a job that a Quora employee might get paid for, for the level of description she provides in all her answers. And then she shares her real life experiences which ranges from weird to thought provoking and it’s a true joy to have been one of her followers.Asher Nitin, all I can say is if ever Wikipedia goes down, they can map his knowledge and create a repository. His answers are so analytical and well-researched that they can be published as research papers. He’s truly a one of a kind writer. Also a caveat, never be on his wrong side; even his sarcasm is backed by logic and research.Divyansh Mundra, for breaking out of a saturated system and carving a new genre of writing here which many of us have tried to follow.
