Talking on the phone:I hate talking on the phone and I hate when someone calls me. Its not a millennial thing, its an 'inefficient' thing.When I am working on a project and get a phone call to discuss or fix something else, this disrupts my work flow.Work flow is very important and can take time to reach. Any disruption is not only a time waste while on the phone, but it also means starting over and trying to get back into the flow.Emails to schedule a meeting that do not include at least 3 day/time options.Email 1. "Hey lets get together for coffee next week!"Email 2. "Sure that sounds fun! When and where?"Email 3. "I don't know, you pick the place. But I lets do Tuesday morning."Email 4. "I can't do Tuesday, how about Wendesday."Email 5. "I can't do Wednesday, how about Thursday."Email 6. "Thursday works! Where do you want to go."Email 7. "You pick."I am getting anxiety just typing this.Solution: "Hey, lets meet for coffee next week at THIS LOCATION. I am free Tuesday from 8-10, Thursday from 9-11 or Friday any time before noon. Let me know which day and time works best for you and I will see you then. Should these times not work please include 3 options that work best for you. Thanks!"Company Meetings longer than 20 minutes, unless more than 2 people are involved.Meetings do not need to be an hour just because it easily fits on your calendar. They don't even need to be 30 minutes. Both parties should enter a meeting knowing they will be done in 20 minutes. What this will do to your efficiency and company productivity is incredible!CommercialsWatching TV can serve a purpose. It can entertain you, help you wind down and relax, or even inform you. But commercials are such a waste of time. Watching commercials means you are paying for your TV with your time. The alternative is to pay for TV with your money. Too many options available today to be watching commercials. For a 21 minute sitcom, you are paying 9 minutes of your time to watch.Additionally, appointment TV-viewing, or scheduling your time around when a show is being shown on television is another waste of time. Not only are you sacrificing your time watching commercials, but you are also giving up precious time in order to ensure you are available simply to watch a show when an executive somewhere decides the time is right.Worrying about shit you can't do anything about.Having to explain this one would also be a waste of time.

When I was in 1st grade I was the ring leader for many covert operations but the ‘short pencil conspiracy’ has to be my favorite.For some reason if you had a really short pencil and could write with it effectively you were automatically one of the coolest kids in the grade. It was similar to the principle that the boy who could run faster than all the others got all the girls, it was just an unspoken rule.So I took a pencil (I actually still have this dumb thing) and spent the entire day sharpening it until it looked like thisIt was the shortest anyone in my grade could get a pencil and I was very proud of my work. Then it was time for me to show off how cool I was with my nearly unusable pencil. So the way we had our desks set up I had a small square with three of my best bros, Jacob, Ryan and Jackson.Now keep in mind this was a very strict Catholic school, h*ck I got in trouble for bringing a lady bug inside (the lady bug smuggler is a whole other story). So sharpening a pencil in such a wasteful manner was highly frowned upon. It was quote “wasting God's resources that he blessed us with” and I get that logic but it seems a bit excessive when applied to 6–7 year olds who think twenty dollars is a fortune.So I whispered to my bro Jacob “Hey, look at this” and handed him the pencil under our desk. He gave it a once over and told the other two boys.And that's when it started…. Ryan asked me “can you sharpen my pencil like that?? I’ll give you a dollar” After a very brief consideration i agreed and he gave me the pencil he wanted to be sharpened.By the next day at recess I finished sharpening it and gave it to him in exchange for a Washington.It was going to be a one-time thing but Ryan being Ryan he told the entire grade that I would sharpen pencils for them.After about two weeks I was sharpening pencils for about 25 kids and getting paid with cookies and I’m not talking small cookies here. I’m talkin pizza sized cookies.I had a schedule even, I would take new clients every Wednesday at lunch and recess. With a maximum of three pencils per person.I eventually sat upon a “short pencil black market” and was raking in the cookies and other small payments.I was at the top of the world until my empire fell when word reached the teachers of my excessive pencil sharpening… I got sent to the principal's office and was admittedly guilty of the ‘crime.’All pencil sharpening stopped after that, but in the ashes of my kingdom rose a legend…That legend followed me for two whole years with the uttering of my fellow revolutionaries, a legend so great that it is spoken about in a hushed tone.(Yes I've been mentally whispering while recounting this.)All sarcasm set aside, thanks for reading this ridiculous story and have a lovely day!

Here is a short answer.To train the fundamentals of powerlifting which is clearly not “ bodybuilding “, you need to train full hour with short breaks, 3 to 4 times a week.For example, Monday is the back squat training for full hour with short breaks.Wednesday is bench day, same as back squats.Friday is deadlift day. Same as above. Any extra time spent at the gym is a waste of time.If you do this correctly combined with a suitable nutrition and sleeping time you can build a great foundation of strength and athletic physique over time. Going to the gym every day is not necessary at all.Thank you
