22 years old lived here my whole life pretty much since I was 4 from Seattle, Washington. But life in Arizona growing up was a humble one trying to graduate and make the best career I could for myself. Life in Az as a “millennial” is a real quiet One, but one where anyone can create success and a name for themselves if they want it & are willing to work hard for it! There is riff-raff like every other city but for the most part crime is not a problem I always felt safe never had troubles by myself late at night walking about. Well one when I was younger but It was Christmas time in my neighborhood and I think it was out of town cousins, long story short I got jumped around 13–14 but I ran it wasn't too had. :p I'd recommend moving to Arizona with any size family if your looking for somewhere quiet but still has a night life with plenty job opportunities! Az is your spot :)

Bikers and Cowboys. I was in a little bar north of Prescott, Az one Saturday night. Small, quiet kind of place, with a couple of my cowboy buddies and a couple girls. This biker gang came in, the real deal, not “WildHogs”. Well I’m decent guy so I just nod politely to them and go on sipping my beer. After a little while, this guy with a long goatee, shaved head, tattoos, keeps staring at me. Finally he says “ Hey man, I know you”. Me: no, you don’t“Yes, I do. I know you”. I glance around real quick and all my buddies are tied up with the girls around the end of the bar by the pool table. Me against 5 or 6 of them. Shit. “Dude, I know you!” I don’t think you do pal. “Ya, man I know you”. Shit. All his buddies are squaring up on their barstools. “Ya, man, I know you, you’re Jimmy Brost!” Fuck me. Where does this guy know me from? I look at this guy real curious, and he jumps and runs at me. He says ““I’m XYZ, i was married to your cousin”. Shit I hadn’t seen him in probably 15 years, since they got divorced. He wasn’t a biker back then. He runs up he grabs me and gives me a bug hug. His buddies didn’t hear the connection, and here they come. Then my buddies see this big guy grab me, and they come running from the other way. We got the shitstorm stopped before any thing was thrown, but it was close. Thats what you call friends right there.

I’m a practicing born-again Christian and I’ve witnessed (and been a part) of many of the following:Healing2. Words of knowledge ( like an insight into someone’s world/life without being told by them)3. Prophecy (although I can’t verify this one because I haven’t seen those people since)So:I had mild to serious athsma. Used ventolin multiple times a day. At a youth service when I was around 15 or 16, one of the pastors “got a word” that there were 2 people with asthma at the service. one person went up and they waited for 5 minutes until I finally went up (at this point I was not yet a christian so was freaked out and didn’t want to go up). They laid their hands on my chest and told me to take 1 deep breath. as I did I passed out and felt so heavy inside. I got up maybe a few seconds later and will never forget my first breath. it was like I had opened a freezer and took a deep breath. I’ve never used a puffer since. I even started (and stopped) smoking in High school.Also, I have witnessed many other people get healed from various things AND I’ve also seen them NOT get healed sometimes. I myself have prayed for people to be healed and have been super freaked out when it happened. Not so freaked out anymore. I’ve also prayed for people and they’ve not been healed. A few notable ones: I’m a youth leader at church - one of my group of young’uns had a concussion and basically 2 day killer migraine - no pills helped. I laid hands and prayed for him and he completely lost his mind when he realised it was gone. Another of my boys had a sporting injury in his left achilles. I laid hand and prayed, nothing happened. I asked to try again he said “go for it” so I did and his leg and foot started twitching like no tomorrow and everyone in the group including him and me were getting freaked out but I just kept going. He couldn’t walk without limping prior, when I was done I told him to jump. he did and couldn’t believe it, then he tackled me out of joy I was laughing my butt off haha.. my area in south west sydney is a poor one so many kids look to sport as their “way out”. Another one was a kid who got smashed by a high school gang could barely walk, in front of about 30 people I prayed for him 3 times. at the first instance he chuckled because nothing had changed and thought I was crazy. by the 3rd instance (maybe 3 minutes later), he looked like he saw a ghost and proceeded to tell everyone he saw about what just happened. I still praise God when it happens because It’s not me doing this, but Holy Spirit. As a born-again Christian we believe that God loves all His kids, and that healing is just one way that He shows that. We believe that Jesus laid the example that we can aspire to - that we can command things into being through faith.I’ll go into the other 2 in the comments if people want to know - not as exciting but I need to be somewhere in 5 minutes so I’ll leave it here lol. Basically God is real, He loves everyone and Christians in this day and age still have access to the full benefits of being a Christian. This involves witnessing healings and all the other gifts.
