Yes, the winters can be brutal and it takes almost a day to get there from where I live, but it’s the perfect place to start this next chapter of my life. It’s going to be difficult to maintain my GPA as a comp sci major, but if I work hard, take advantage of everything the school has to offer and keep myself engaged I can go really far.Boiler up!As a word of caution for this year’s high school juniors- when I took a tour, the CS department head mentioned that Purdue accepted almost 95% of their students through early action. Just something to consider when you start applying to schools this fall!Edit: I had a 3.8 gpa and a 1570 SAT. I took 4 APs last year and 4 this year, but I think something that hurt me was that I only took APCS this year and not last year.
