Before 11:17 AM on November 24, 1963 Ruby arrive at the Western Union office at 2034 Main Street because at around 10:19 AM, Karen “Little Lynn” Carlin, one of his strippers, called him at his apartment needing money. Ruby agreed and drove downtown to the WU with his dog Sheba. The 11:17 AM time stamp was on the WU receipt. Ruby left immediately afterwards.Oswald’s transfer to the county jail was supposed to be at 10 AM and the media was informed by Dallas Police Chief Jesse Curry the night before. However, the transfer was delayed by more than an hour when Chief Postal Inspector Harry Holmes arrived at the station just before 10 and wanted to question Oswald more about his use of post office boxes. Furthermore, Oswald decided and was allowed to change to a darker sweater, so that he could appear better in the TV lights.
