A False Cause ( something that is increasingly prevalent in the 21st century).. Is a decision to proceed with a venture based on incorrect or dubious intelligence.Probably the leading example of a false cause displayed in the last century was individuals nailing their flag to the mast of the Communist ideal…because that was what communism is.. Or was I should say…an ideal.. Doomed to failure by the insurmountable problem of human nature…in that great retort to the Communist assertion that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL…the riposte…YES…BUT SOME MEN ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS…sums up the contradiction that is the communist mantra.. The wonderful scenario of a happy population.. All contributing equally for the benefit of all…falls at the hurdle of human nature…the wish to have one more slice of bread…a horse instead of a donkey…my wife to have better clothes and jewellery than the woman next door…it's not really a nasty or selfish wish…it is just man's inate wish to better himself and have the best for his family…in the communist thesis.. You work at the factory beside your neighbour…earning the same wage as he does.. issued with the same clothes etc.Although a wonderful ambition…it never had a cat in hells chance of being long term …the huge amount of police…soldiers and beaurocrats needed to keep the population in thrall to the government takes its toll…one thing becomes widespread straight away…lack of enthusiasm with your job…and a distinct indifference to what quality goods you turn out…there is no incentive to the worker to give a Toss if the soles of the shoes he makes fall off after a week…the powers that be say they want twenty thousand pairs of shoes made each week…if the machine that attaches the soles to the uppers is not working properly…so what…long as the quota is met…its of no interest to him if the shoes are useless after two wears of them.Some of the most fanatical followers of this False Cause were individuals in better off countries.. Britain.. France.. America etc…these USEFUL IDIOTS…as Stalin described them in the 1930s..who had never set foot in Russia…but had swallowed the Bolshevik and or Marxist baloney hook line and sinker…had they been able to spend even a few days in the Russia of the 1930s..the realisation that they were truly following the Falsest of False causes…..would have been obvious.. So many devoted followers and activists had their hearts and souls ripped apart when…after the truth was finally revealed.. They realised they had spent the majority of their lives living under a completely false premise…in many cases it broke them mentally and spiritually.The more obvious and tragic examples of False Causes in history would be a quite extensive list…there are so many to choose from its a bit depressing to realise how gullible we are as a whole.Along with a False Cause there is an out rider…usually blatant hypocrisy.. The British and American Governments being past masters at it.That said…it does not excuse us.. The man/woman in the street.. From going along with ( in most cases)…what we are being told is the truth…when even a cursory glance reveals what is being said is complete cobblers.To a certain extent we are putty in their hands…that is why the absolute Cluster in the Middle East came about…the accusations thrown at Saddam Hussain…that he was a dictator…had WMDs.. Killed people…assisted international terrorism etc etc…erm?… he WAS !!…a dictator…only dictators can keep hold of power in the middle East for long ….what European Politicians know.. But refuse to say it in the open is that the Arab physche is not set up for democracy as we in the west understand the term…they are happier under a semi benevolent Strong Man.. Or an Honourable Religeous Figure.. and speaking personally I have no problem with that form of control…there are simply far too many different Clans /families in those countries with their own agendas to make the installation of Democracy a hopeless task…and.. Once again.. In my personal opinion…carrying on with the DEMOCRATIC DREAM.. is counter productive and prolonging the agony.As stated…there are many examples.. Several relatively recent.. The one Bugbear for a Government trying to get us.. The man /woman in the street to get in line and accept the Party Line is that information is now available at the touch of a button.. so Spinning an excuse to go to war against some country you wish to gain assets from is very researched by the ordinary man.

I’m tired of the concept of fair and this cry that “OMG life should be fair.” Life is not fair. I was born to a father who was born to a father who was born to a father that avoided, in general, excess, saved money, built farms and businesses, and worked eighty hour weeks many times until within months of their deaths. Am I rich? Nope. I work in one of those businesses and have tied my wage to less than that of the top technicians and other management here because I think it sets the right tone. Clearly I have enjoyed, and continue to enjoy, benefits many others have not. Still there are others who will enjoy far more benefits from their lineage and situations than I do. Some people were born with inate natural physical talents that they have worked VERY HARD to hone. Could I have gotten to the level they have if I had simply worked as hard as they had? Probably not though I surely could have come closer.Government, and by its extension government programs, are not intended to be fair. Fair is everyone being born naked and with with nothing in the wilderness and likely dieing before their first birthday. Society evolves to be BETTER than natural fairness at least for most people. Granted we have had our moments where society has removed even the sense of humanness from people but we can do better and we, most often I think, do do better.
