I know I am being shallow in comparing God’s people to the LDS movement. But a style of approach toward reducing an issue such as thiswould be that which contains the content herein, perhaps shedding yield to objectivity not yet mentioned.After all, one is not undermined by what they are familiar with, rather what they are not. If a person is undermined it’s because they feel insecure as to keeping firm in their position they’ve so previously established.If a person seeking an answer from a person who claims to be an EX ‘pert’, and another person sheds light on things legitimate but left out by the expert, it destabilizes their foundation. People who genuinely want to receive accurate knowledge about life’s tantamount issues will very easily be able to detect this.That’s why I came in contact with the Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses at the same time and even with limited knowledge on both… I did everything they both suggested to me upon becoming oriented with them and it was staggering the difference in what was genuine and which was a fraud. Not even close. The more I researched it the more obvious it became while avoiding bias until it reached the point where it was no longer necessary as far as my lifestyle was concerned.Jehovah has no doubt chosen his people. But that doesn’t mean we are going to be the only ones who receive everlasting life. That’s why the harvest work Jesus illustrated for this time of the end includes a teaching. That’s when the dragnet pulls out fish. Some good and some bad. The bad being discarded but by way of other illustrations perhaps given a chance after this world… who LDS are prominent in… will be brought to ruin.This teaching and administration sets precedent for the new world after Armageddon when Jesus will separate the sheep from the goats and there will be a teaching and administering of those who were resurrected no knowing the truth.If they obey God by means of the administration he sets in place… the resurrection they receive will result in everlasting life. If not it will result in judgement, condemnation, and death. As in the second death or Gehenna… from where no opportunity ofresurrection for that person will ever again exist.Bottom line faith is based on accurate knowledge. Proof is accurate. Can one literally see spirit creatures or God? We see the results of their existence as well as the way the world works in line with what the Bible says from the standpoint of one who actually knows it in such a way that that person depends on it along with prayer and conscience in virtually every moment of everyday of our lives.Think of a devout Catholic that holds their cross and offers a Hail Mary in a convent all day long. That’s the way many of Jehovah’s faithful servants do with God in actually communicating personally and reading meditatively the Bible and getting his thoughts and having a two-way conversation between him and our conscience by way of how the Bible has touched us that hour or set of of hours with respects to that moment in that day, week, month, year. Etc.Yes we are to pray constantly even with our eyes open at time even when we are in a typical or incidental situation throughout the course of our life. This is done to help us make wise decisions and for the world to observe us as different in a way that they cannot examine and as far as perceived value of that observation makes one observing us insecure because they don’t have it. People likely don’t know we may say silent prayers almost constantly depending, but we are to in fact pray constantly… Jesus and Adam did.The more one does this the more one can get the sense of what God does and doesn’t want and when Satan is working his demons at your thoughts. As we grow closer to our Maker we can discern the difference between how we control and are affected by with regards to our soul, mind, conscience, and figurative heart respectively.This may be subconscious yet very powerful as to the way others view us despite perhaps not knowing we are God’s people… But it is obvious to people who actually have Holy Spirit. The spirit of the world resists it and the light we have resists the darkness found in everyone else even in incidental situations.If you know the Bible as well as people that do that those do who need it for the sake of survival in this system and that to come… and have any degree of happiness in life not doing so… then come forward. Because Jehovah’s people come to you with something far more powerful than you have ever seen the likeness of, nor will ever again.If you can live your life genuinely happy without doing these things and maintain the depth of our peace and contentment the way God’s people do despite having very little yet possessing the ability to reach beyond most any other group of people the world over and admitting you need to do these things to this extent. It shows where your heart is if given these things are true why a person only subscribing to what can be physically proven may view us as odd.That’s where the similarity lies. People view Mormons as odd as do they Witnesses. We are morally sound by and large. If they actually get to know God’s Christian Witnesses and our beliefs people realize it’s not the way of things. Although Mormons in part put on a pretense of friendliness and familiarity, once doctrine is preached to a humble person it’s nothing but outright fanaticism. The content within ‘“inspired” expressions’ speaks for itself.Because from the experience of 10s of millions of people in over 240 lands and over 1000 languages… the more we live this lifestyle depending on prayer with respects to our lives and God’s word and reading it in a deep meditative way and prayerful way everyday and becoming that familiar with the Bible…. as we grow and continue in the faith… the more obvious it is that we have the genuine currency to speak.For when one is trying to identify false currency… once he is familiar with the genuine currency to such an extent… it takes little to no effort deciphering between the two.The word cult does admittedly mean different things to different people. Peoples definition of a cult varies on the way they feel about certain organizations so as to make sure they and a few others from their standpoint fits that criteria. Many somewhat above average writers can do this quite easily. Not all that much of a chore.Mormons do admittedly portray warm values and close-knit families.Nevertheless LDS dogma is kindred to evolution in that the theories of those who contributed to those creeds rationally can neither be proven nor unproven.When it comes to nominal Christianity, although their sets of dogma differ from each other a person who knows the Bible as well as an experienced Witness can disprove such with their hands tied behind their back.With all DUE respect. The LDS have a Quorum if 12 which is co-led by the “First Presidency”. So in other words these 2 have more authority than the other 10 and can supersede. This is not grasping after straws. When it comes to scriptural unanimity this brings much into question.Also, the first century Christians had those who were apostate, but no registered religious apostate orders were ever documented. In other words, there didn’t become sects or more than one “Christian” church until there was no longer a true one period.Also, more than a dozen other sects which had broken off, although statistically in the minority, are yet often registered religious orders even internationally. Moreover some actually claim to have a role in the mainstream LDS church despite them not being recognized as such.Nevertheless this would make one puzzled why this would be the case because apostate people or initial apostate organizations such as the Catholic Church had completely deviated from the original and blatantly spoke out against it. In some situations with the Mormon church this is not even always the case.Jehovah’s modern Christian Witnesses (not an official title) similar to Mormons do not wish to be mentioned in the same breath as a person who just unwittingly refers to them self as a Christian. That being said the group of men making up the Governing Body of JW’s are 8. They are all equally unanimous and what’s more they have different committees that focus on certain tasks and the collective group is prayerfully unanimous and in agreement with every matter moving forward.These committees corroborate but every decision must be equally in one accord. No one man has more authority than another. We do not see CT Russell as the official prophet nor his teachings having any baring on current beliefs or faith-based actions.In his time he supported and influenced the set up of an organization and group this world has never previously seen the likes of. Do we have prophets? Play that off as you will. We do prophecy because of our understanding, knowledge, and preaching ability and our command to acquire and use these things.But the Bible makes it clear there would be no new inspired scrolls until sometime after the great tribulation. Whether or not we receive insight from these scrolls in between the final sealing and Armageddon remains to be seen.All of the sects and REGISTERED religious orders that have come about since the time of Smith varying throughout the course of latter history. None of which necessarily maintained the majority and at some times even some in similar proportion. This was and has never nor will ever be the case with whatever person or group that has deviated from God’s modern day people.Also, there are “for-profit” subsidiaries and holding companies which have partial influence from the Quorum of the 12. This is actually substantially worse according to Christian teachings because it shows the church itself has given itself over “for-profit” to a degree, its “Quorum” is ‘straddling the fence’ to speak regarding such matters and indecisive tendencies such as this do not show a oneness in accord. It also shows “some” support for “for-profit” church activities. It also shows some degrees of liberty where the church neglects authority for some official facet of the church itself that is still yet not related exclusively to the President of legal and financial matters.Perhaps one reason people call Jehovah’s Witnesses a “cult” is because technically it’s the only Organization period that is NOT a cult. Including commercial, political, and religious institutions. Every organization has an authority coming ultimately from “one man”, whereas Jehovah’s Witnesses have authority arranged scripturally by a collective group of men who make decisions unanimously as a group.No branch or congregation either has one man… they are a collective group. They are the only organization in the world where their is no hourly or salaries wages of any constituent in the entire organization and funds are not sought after.People give of themselves free of compulsion which is not the case with other charities and obviously likewise taxes to the government and buying from the commercial world at a price that in the buyers mind could always be better and the thought is… wouldn’t it be nice to cut this cost in some way… whether it’s a business or a consumer… principle remains the same and around it goezzz— the LOVE of money— the root of all injurious things.There are motives of cults outside of what one leads onto. My hope is the same - subject to God’s Kingdom in the earthly Paradise in a perfect world and a strong relationship with my maker. That’s what my motive is and that is exactly what I have been given and what I initially sought after.Many people call Jehovah’s Witnesses a cult. If any person based their knowledge on our beliefs in contrast with the varying degrees of beliefs in sects within the LDS movement of restoration reformers……. who in their right mind would not consider the Mormons to be considerably more so of one in so much as far as what that person feels the word “cult” means at the time they are asked and made aware of both sets of beliefs??
