If you mean traveling on a cruise ship, no you may not because all cruise ships require that at least one person on the reservation is 18 or older with some even requiring that either everyone on the reservation is 21 or older or that at least one person is 25 or older. There may be some cruise lines that require you to be at least 25 to cruise alone but I don’t know any. However, costa cruise lines requires that on certain cruises that at least one person in the cabin is 25 or older. That’s the only cruise line that I know that has that age requirement to cruise alone. If you mean by air, laws vary by country but generally airlines will allow a 17 year old to travel alone without much restriction. However, some countries do require a notarized letter of consent for anyone under 18 traveling with only one or neither parent. Not all countries have a specific law about that meaning that as long as you are old enough to fly alone without using the unaccompanied minor service, you don’t need parent consent.

I had no difficulty.had a bunch of Arab stamps in that passport (Egypt, Sudan, Somaliland, UAE, Oman… plus a few other non-Arab Sunni-majority countries) and they didn’t say anything about it. Is there a reason for you to ask this question?It’s true that Iran doesn’t get along that well with Arab countries, but it still has to have relationships with them, and it does have a large Arab minority in its own country. Even if it didn’t, why would this prevent someone who has visited Egypt from visiting Iran? They also know that Egypt is a popular tourist destination, and particularly if you’re not Muslim, they’re unlikely to be worried about you becoming radicalised in Egypt.The only stamp that I know of that would be a problem is an Israeli stamp. The only problem I could think of would be if you had an entry stamp from the land border at Taba, and no matching Jordanian stamps, which would be pretty good indication that you’d crossed overland from Eilat. But even then I doubt they’d notice it, and you could probably make up some story about having arrived there by cruise liner or yacht or something.Other than Israelis or people who have visited Israel, the only other people I know who have difficulty getting into Iran are British or US citizens, who because of strained relationships with Iran, need to go through a “tour” (ie, with an approved guide). Some other poor countries can’t get a visa on arrival at the airport, but should be able to get a visa in advance if they get a letter of invitation, like anybody else.I certainly don’t think an Egyptian stamp should be a problem.
